Derrick Henry potential season ending injury
Back2Buff replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills have been kind of unlucky in terms of other teams injuries, like for example: Played Steelers with JJ Watt Played Titans with Henry, Brown, and Julio Played Miami at full strength (Howard, B Jones, Parker, Tua) New Orleans will have Mike Thomas back. They just got Davenport back. Also traded for Ingram. TB will have Brown, Sherman, and Gronk back. Carolina will have McCaffrey and Gilmore. -
I just don't see in division being a problem when they are 1-7. It's not like they are in contention, and Gesicki is gone at the end of the year anyways. Trading him when you are completely out of contention for less because you don't want him going to a certain team, would be worse than any PR backlash.

This O-line is why the Bills won’t win it all this year.

I'm done with Feliciano, the guy is consistently the weakest guy on line. Get him out of the starting line up. I'm trying Bates. What's the worst that can happen? Dawkins-Ike-Morse-Bates-Williams (even when Brown comes back, Brown was the worse player vs Ten, even worse than Feliciano, which is saying a lot). -
This team can't run without a TE, sorry Sweeney ain't it. This won't be the last time Knox is hurt this season, he is one that hasn't been particularly healthy is his career. Gesicki is the PERFECT trade target. The guy is clearly frustrated in Miami and his deal is up. He is on a rookie deal, so he is cheap.

I think it would be back to the weeks 1, 2 and 3, where the o line was the better. I thought they should have went back to the o line, even before Brown got hurt. He was not very good the last two games
-
Bills worst game was when they played 4 WR. Hope they don't go back to that.
-
Remember when people though Rex Ryan would be good on TV? That time has come and gone. Honestly can't stand listening to the guy anymore.
-
Wait, so the parents go back and immediately find articles of clothing?!

One of the worst in league, which made the play call on 4th and inches so stupid. Even if they converted, the percentages said they weren't going to score a TD. They should have went for the TD on 4th and inches, or kicked the FG.
-
They called the play the defense was expecting. Thats fine on any other play, than the last play of game. You can't be predictable in a situation when your line is getting abused all night. It was a terrible call.
-
You like our chances? Four pass plays where the opposing team knows you have to pass in an area that small when our red zone offense is horrible? One sack or holding penalty, and game is over. The time to score was on 4th and inches, when defense was expecting a QB sneak. They did the opposite of what they should have. Instead of starting in shot gun and going under center, the should have went under center to look like they are sneaking, and then go into shotgun and get Allen on the move to the side of the field that had more green space. Give him the option to run in from there, and also have options sneaking across the line to get opened in end zone. The line was getting abused all night, why they expected to be able to bully them on that play, makes no sense. Its bad coaching.

Um, Henry comes with Tannehill. -
He kicked two FGs in the first half when this team knew they had to score A LOT to win this game. I just don't understand what the heck he was thinking at the end of the game. Let's say you get the first down. You are down to 18 seconds with left with no timeouts (Assuming he took the TO to stop the clock after the sneak). With this teams inability to run and not being able to stop clock, what the heck were they going to do down there? They weren't scoring a TD anyways, even if they got the sneak. It was a horrible call. If you were going for it, they should have went for the end zone.

Tried to warn people before the game the Titans were the better team but no one seemed to want to listen. Bills have played one of the worst schedules out there. Titans beat the bills 9/10 times. Bills have a lot of work to do. -

Sounds like something an IV can fix. -
I don't view him as a top player, but Mo does, so he can't say he is working with a raw QB.

Last time I was this nervous was before the opener. I just had a bad feeling and have the same feeling right now. I just can't get over Wallace having to guard Julio or AJ Brown. Henry will forever scare me. I think we will need to score in 40s to win. Allen better be ready to go. Can't be punting much. -
Is Baker dropping to #4 of the Class of '18?
Back2Buff replied to Huh? What?'s topic in The Stadium Wall
He's really hurt. We all remember how bad Allen was with that injury last year, and it wasn't nearly as bad as what Baker is dealing with. -
Problem I have with Mo, I don't think he was qualified so I have a way shorter leash with him. I don't have past success to get confidence that this isn't the start of something bad. Also, I think people are being to light on him. There were a ton of players still around, including most of the top players (Vantrease, Marks, Patterson, Riggins).

It’s really sad to see this fall apart so quickly. Looking like a horrible hire. It’s getting embarrassing again. This sucks.
-
This was the injury report for that game: A.J. Brown, wide receiver (hamstring) Julio Jones, wide receiver (hamstring) Bud Dupree, linebacker (knee) Caleb Farley, cornerback (shoulder) Larrell Murchison, defensive lineman (elbow) Brett Kern, punter (groin) I remember when the Bills played last season with that many injuries, it wasn't pretty. You can't compare that game to what they will send out this Monday.
-
I more worried about this game than the Chiefs game. This Titans team has the ability to be really good, almost unstoppable on offense. I don't like them getting their two WR back. Henry will forever make me nervous. I also hate MNF.

Anyone know how Jackson Mahomes is doing?
-
Looks like Beasley is finally understanding the harsh reality to him that this team can run without him. He is above nobody. Get in line, or this team will just move on.
