  1. They have billions of assets that they would be used to get any loan they want. It just doesn't make sense to lose 25% of the profit every year, and even worse, to lose 25% of the value of the franchise. Unless the Pegula's know the NFL has reached it's peak and profits, along with franchise values will decrease, it doesn't make sense to do it now, unless they want straight cash for something. I know that Biden wants to absolutely destroy estate taxes and I wonder how the estate works with PSE, Bills, Sabres, etc. I just pray that it's set up in a way that estate taxes would have no impact on anything when they pass.
  2. You can't say that. You need a dance partner and teams are under the assumption Bills will be good next year, so you are asking a team to drop to the late first, for another late first and a second. Teams don't want to do it. Every year you hear teams say they got offers and didn't want to drop that far. I think the highest Bills can go this year is mid teens.
  3. That won't even be enough. Late round picks have little value to teams in top 8.
  4. Makes zero sense to me. Can't believe the Pegula's have money issues.
  5. Things like this irk me. You can't force a team to drop to 28. You plan on giving up Josh Allen to get up to top 8? About the only thing that we could give up for a team to drop all the way to 28.
  6. He already raised red flags during the combine in his interviews and there is lots of tape of him not doing routes correctly, and at 100%. He is so talented, but he scares me so much. I just dont think we can take him. Mcdermott doesnt do well with rookies that aren't catching onto things quickly in practice and the meeting room. I watched some interviews with Mitchell, and his attention just seems to wonder. Xavier Legette is my prediction. I think Beane and Mcdermott will love him. I also think him being older is a plus. I think it was a benefit for Kincaid last year. Legette will give you blocking on the outside for the run game, and has the size and explosion to go deep.
  7. I tried to watch the bootleg WR video, but watching three guys talk on zoom for hour and 45 mins is too much for me. I need some highlights or some player video. They should have broke it up into segments and uploaded individual videos. I watch youtube on my tv while working out. Its a pain to have to skip around on a tv.
  8. There is a lot of garbage on youtube too. Every person that watches a highlight video is now a draft expert. I watch the ten min videos on each WRs that underdog NFL draft has. I like those. Then you have these videos that are like over an hour and a half, no idea why anyone would think that is a good idea to put that on youtube in one video. No one has time to sit there and sit through a couple dudes talking about prospects for over 90 mins. I watched one video of Steve Smith and realized what a hack he is. He barely even knew who these prospects were. He acted like he was some scout, yet you could clearly see that he watched 10 mins on each player and made an assertation on the player. Simms just does things for attention, much like Steve Smith, he really doesn't put the hours into evaluating before opening his mouth.
  9. That was my first point, get the draft done before these two leagues start the playoffs. I even felt the press conference from Beane yesterday and a tone of, lets just move on already. I just can't believe players are back in the building already for work outs for the next season, and the draft hasn't even happened yet for the season.
  10. I dont think Sunday ticket is something that can just renew. You pay x amount for the full season. It's not like a monthly subscription.
  11. I used to watch ESPN to listen to Mel and Mcshay go back and forth for weeks before the draft. I can't find them anywhere. ESPN barely dedicates more than 15 mins a day to the NFL draft right now. Even NFL network has ran out of things to talk about with the draft. There was so much momentum with free agency, then the combine, the pro days. These things have been done for weeks now.
  12. I feel like the overall draft hype is lessened this year. I feel like it's just way too late. Do it before the NHL and NBA playoffs start. There is no need for these extra 2 weeks. I was ready for this draft in the beginning of April, at this point, I don't even care anymore. I'm sick of hearing these prospects names.
  13. Pretty cool to see so many players that got some nice contracts show up. Not gonna lie, didn't expect to see Oliver, Dawkins, Milano, etc there. Lots of vets just stay in their cities and work out.
  14. Just looking for comp pick terms. Why anyone would sign a guy that thinks himself should retire is beyond me. He was brutal last year.
  15. Absolutely not. Most I would trade to move up is next years first (just because that Minny 2nd is going to be high) and a 4th this year. However, it would need to be for Rome or Harrison. If both those guys are gone, I'm picking at 28.
  16. The Dolphins have none of the X,Y,Z crappy classifications and had the number 1 passing offense. Teams that over think these roles will end up setting themselves back. Speed and explosiveness will always kill.
  17. Because the eclipse was cloudy yesterday, I spent the entire time looking at WR in this draft. I don't understand the Brian Thomas hype. All he does is run go and hitch. I respect Josh Norris a lot, and he is also low on Brian Thomas. The tape just isnt there with Thomas. It's the same thing over and over again. Go routes. On the other hand, Xavier Worthy is going to be a problem in this league. The guy played outside way more than I thought. The amount of coverage he took away for teammates was insane. AD Mitchell wouldn't even be a Day 1 or 2 pick if it wasn't for Worthy. The guy also has multiple years of production and he ran really nice routes. Worthy is my 4th rated WR. Legette is my 5th.
  18. You don't draft a complimentary speed WR in the top 4 rounds. Look at when Shorter was drafted LY. That's where you draft guys that can just run straight down the field. Early, you want guys that are going to succeed at what your offense runs on 95% of the plays. You don't draft a guy to run 5% of plays high.
  19. I don't know man. They had Davis and Diggs at this time. Davis became invisible and Diggs became a screen WR. Seemed like a pretty evident change into what Brady wants to do. We had a successful offense with going downfield before with the same talent. We changed the OC and had the same players.
  20. So he was under contract with the Bills. They could have talked with teams without the agent or Diggs knowing. They couldnt say anything or it would be tampering.
  21. Yeap, I have no idea why Beane let him pick where he wants to go. Makes zero sense to me. Yet again, the biggest complainer gets what he wants.
  22. Someone on youtube put all the plays of Kincaid and Cook. The change is how these two got the ball was pretty evident when Brady took over. Tons of RPO and quick strike. In saying that, I just dont see how some of these guys fit into that offense. I just see guys like Ladd and Lagette as the best fits. I dont see a guy like Brian Thomas even being that good of a fit TBH. I think he is being used as a smoke screen. I almost wonder if the Bills would have Worthy over him.
  23. Being a criminal is not about intelligence level. These idiots were smart enough to leave the scene with their guns. On top of the accident and drugs, being under the influence with guns would have been way worse. Leaving the scene needs to be way more of a punishment than it is.
  24. Sounds like a vet mini deal with massive incentives. Sounds like very little risk with potential nice returns.
