  1. Dallas - Then bounces us from the playoffs in front of his old home crowd in December. As we deserve
  2. !@#$.....You...... Over Fumbles-Brown? Are you shitting me?!? Way to take the heart out of this offense
  3. Shefter or Brown. But I agree with a stupid twitter leak from practice
  4. Wasn't this supposed to happen at 4pm today?
  5. Ask me again in week 9. We've seen hot starts before and then the league adjusts to our scheme and we can't do anything. Plus, the 49ers offense was less than inspiring. Hoping to be celebrating with you though
  6. Taylor had the same circumstances. EJ actually gets Fred, which Taylor didn't
  7. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/8331/ej-manuel Interesting idea if true and it wouldn't be the first time a team has done this. I'd just still be shocked considering how little he makes. I don't see the harm in keeping him, even if it is at 3rd string.
  8. It was on the Billsdaily Twitter feed about there being a split amonst the coaches and then about Rex wanting Taylor. Unless Roman wants EJ, process of elimination. There's also a lot of speculation just based off of who is getting first reps and starting these games. They aren't rotating these guys like it's an open competition. It almost feels like they have their guy and keep changing their mind.
  9. I keep seeing that Roman wanted the trade for Cassel and that's who he wants to start. My question is, why? Isn't Roman a pistol, read-option type play caller? To me, Cassel would be the worst fit. I have nothing against Cassel, let the best man win. Just curious
  10. I agree with the OP. I understand practice and training camp time, but you got to put him on the field and give him a chance. The blocking, receivers, everything is just different when you are out there against 3rd stringers. If Tyrod is the man, so be it. But it just doesn't feel like EJ is getting a fair shake at this point. He was our first round pick and only played a little over one season. Besides, if it is Tyrod, then I think EJ should be the back-up as 5 mil is too much to pay a back-up.
  11. If he can stay healthy and they block like they did, I think he'd put up 1k easily
  12. I honestly don't care and this is why I wasn't that excited about the trade. If the scheme is good, the blocking is good, the rb is less relevant. Don't get me wrong, Shady is a great player, but there's a reason that the position has lost it's value in the league.
  13. I'm sure there's a point in there, but I can't even read this.
  14. Sorry, but unless he's a top 3 pick, no one from this current rookie salary pool is even in the top 3. Mike Williams robbed us. He's my #1 2 - Aaron Maybin 3 - Donte Whitner (just for who he was picked ahead of and for being an !@#$ after he left)
  15. I understand the complexity of reading a defense and the pressure of having Super Mario breathing down your neck when making a throw. Being a QB is easily one of the top skill positions amongst all of sports and only about 15 teams in the world seem to have a good one. However, with all of these Qb's out there that have played in pee wee, why do I keep reading about all of these guys missing open throws in practice. I can handle the int's and the sacks. But when I'm reading the twitter feed and it's all about missing the WR's by 10-15 yards under no stress, I'm just baffled. And it seems to be with all of them. How is it possible that these guys made it this far? How can they be this bad? I mean, I remember Cassel playing for the Pats and he could at least hit the wide open guys. Even EJ could at least get the ball in the vicinity, whether it be low or behind the guy. Maybe they are just exaggerating. But how can they be as bad as they are making them out to be?
  16. I agree that this is a final audition for Cassel. If it's a dead heat, Roman would rather have a mobile Tyrod or EJ. If Cassel can't take the job in the next two weeks, I think he's cut and they want to do their due diligence.
  17. Looking for ideas and thoughts for a league name. I have to keep it a little clean, due to some of the members, but I want it funny and something that a logo could accompany. Right now, Stephen Hawking's Cleats is a contender. Or Tebow's O Face.
  18. I know, right? DDDDOOOOMMMMEEEDDDD!!!!!
  19. Doesn't matter how healthy Watkins is. Doesn't matter how fast Percy is. Doesn't matter how great Woods' hands are. If NONE of our QBs can't complete basic passes in practice after all these years in the league, they aren't gonna figure it out over the next month. And if we can't pass, then teams will stack the run. We are not gonna be good enough offensively to put up 20 point a game. And if you hold the Colts, Pats, etc to 17 points, that's a great defensive effort.
  20. Agreeing here is tough, but kind of a no-brainier. You don't have this, you don't have a playoff team. Can make all your weaknesses go away
