  1. 80's Jim Kelly 90's Pat Williams 00's Stevie Johnson
  2. I try not to think about these things. It gives me the shittles
  3. Did anyone think we'd be saying that about our defense a year ago? Beyond frustrating
  4. Always wanted Leodis to pan out and he did show some flashes. But I just forgive those pats games nor ignore the injuries
  5. In the new cap era we are in, 5 mil isn't anything and you can't find anywhere near that value elsewhere
  6. Clearly Roman and Rex have a hard on for guys who can only go deep. I can't imagine there being a huge market for him. 4-5 mil a year and just let him run verticals all day?
  7. For a TE that had 109 yards this year and 395 last year. Charles Clay, injured or not, is a steal compared to that
  8. Nope. Not me. I've been off the EJ bandwagon since the pick 6 off the screen in Houston. I'm also not a fan of our former coach, but honestly think we would have made the playoffs with the old staff this year
  9. The woman who asked Peyton about the Tennessee stuff and the article on ESPN about him retiring at the right time amid these scandals.... Both of that writer and her can go !@#$ themselves. I get that it's a news story, but not today. Just no respect for that kind of journalism
  10. I don't think he lucked into his first season. You can have your opinion, I can have mine. I'm a Kiko fan
  11. Mother !@#$er! Why are the sending the legend to the Dolphins? I never want to root against him
  12. The Clay doesn't bother me that much. Like the QB position, we haven't had a quality player at that position for a while. So when they had their shot, they took it. Yeah, the injuries are a concern, but we also saw his playmaker ability as well. Also, in this cap world, 8 mil is like 5 mil only a few years back. It's a gamble that may or may not pay off, but I'll applaud the effort
  13. Didn't say anything about us losing or missing the playoffs. Read it again. I just said I hope he terrorizes us and makes Rex like the fool he is for not being able to utilize him. And yeah Mario gave up, so did many. Because Rex shoved a system down his players throats which didn't fit. It's the coaches job to gain buy in, not the other way around.
  14. I hope he signs with Miami and terrorizes us. Just to show what an ass-clown of a coach Rex is.
  15. I didn't know he made that much and honestly think he's overpaid. I'd rather see him back at corner
  16. I'm very aware. But at this point, we may very well be using those picks to fill holes we just created and rookies typically are what push a team over the playoff hump. It's just frustrating to see the talent of this team wasted and now we can't even say Ralph is cheap anymore
  17. After RFA and Draft Picks, we will have around 6 mil left. Oh yeah, and we lost McKelvin and Mario, possibly Richie. So, may not be the worst anymore, but we've now lost talent and don't have money to upgrade or fill the recently created holes. Super Psyched
  18. That's it? So, I can just go crazy with the cap and you fine me? I can't believe that's all there is to it
  19. I mean, that's about it. What if the season starts and you are over? What happens?
  20. I agree. I've actually felt this way for a while. I hate when we didn't re-sign Pat Williams, Nate Clements, Winfield, all because they earned the paycheck we couldn't give them. I think parity would still exist, but agree that teams that can't draft or won't spend the money will suffer. But shouldn't they? Btw, I'm pry gonna change my name to FireRex, so please don't think I'm copying you. Or, take it for the homage that it is :-)
  21. The only way that the "rich get richer" is with teams that have good GM's and drafts. I don't have a problem with that. If a team drafts a good team and get an extra bonus to re-sign them and FA's that've been with the team for 3+ years, then more power to them.
  22. I've always wondered why the NFL doesn't use cap breaks to help teams re-sign their own players. The NBA does a similar thing, allowing for home teams to offer players more money than other teams to stay with them. They still have to shell out the money, but it only counts a fraction against the cap. So, if we gave Glenn 12 million, only 10 million would count against the cap. If the purpose is continuity, I think this is a great idea. There would be provisions. Like, drafted players get a 20% cap exemption. FA's who've been with your team for 3 or more years get a 10%. Thoughts? Reasons why it wouldn't work?
