If you could say one things to anyone in the Bills organization, player, coach, or owner, what would it be? And yes, feel free to have some huge imaginary balls and get something off your chest. I'm going with Rex Ryan - You took us from top 3 to bottom 3 in Sacks. We are top 3 in most penalties. We missed the playoffs for the 16th straight year. Why do you deserve to be the coach of the Buffalo Bills next year and what would it take to make you quit after next year?

Can we at least agree on this? (Tyrod)

So, you're logic is based upon any qb that doesn't get us to the playoffs is bad? -
Yes, and it falls on the people who hold them accountable. I've worked in many a jobs and the most disorganized places have the least disciplined leadership. I understand that it's the players making the mistakes. But it's because they either get caught up in emotion, lack or respect for the result, or have no fear or retribution. That all comes from the coaching.

Whether you believe he is our Franchise guy or not, he is good enough to win games for us and doesn't make drafting a QB in the first round every year a priority. I think I've seen progression from him most weeks. His decisions to throw deep and not run today on 3rd down was off to me, but it wasn't the terrible crap we've dealt with in years past. Speaking of which, I completely believe he's the best QB we've had since Kelly. In any case, whether you love him or can put up with him, I'm just tired of seeing the fighting over how good he is. He's good enough. Agree?

This team is offically no better than last year

The sack number makes me want to vomit. I just can't comprehend it. Here, let me take one of the greatest in the NFL and change it. !@#$ you Rex. !@#$ you rotten -
Penalties are the biggest problem, by far
Virgil replied to LA Grant's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Penalties = Lack of Discipline. Lack of Discipline comes from coaching. Coaching is the problem and we are stuck with it. Worst part is, he's shown this is who he is. He's not getting better. -
Man, you're setting the bar really high there. Marrone outcoached the hell out of Rex last season....twice

!@#$ Rex.....that is all

Can only change it once every 180 days. Took this one when Freddie got hosed -
Looking forward to the off season and the draft
Virgil replied to Nitro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How are you possibly looking forward to next season? What massive talent gap are you seeing defense that makes you believe it can be upgraded? What possibly makes you think that the penalty situation with magically better? And the biggest...what the !@#$ do you see to make you think Rex will figure out how to coach and lead a team. You're whole premise is based upon needing to beef up the LB's and fixing the offense, which is our bright spot. Everything else is coaching and these guys just got signed. No one is going anywhere on that staff. This is our team. This is who we are next year too. Get used to it -

It's not. I just never would have imagined we'd already be at the 7 loss mark with 3 games left to play Btw, I can't wait until I can change my screenname to FireRex -
Wild Card Race and Intel on Teams in the Hunt

Here's your intel...Bills are done. Close this thread -
I really want to know if those deep shots were pre-planned or Tyrod's option. I know that we do this from time to time and I get it. But today just seemed excessive. They were prepared for it so it gets to the point where you have to tip your hat to them and move on. In a few cases, Tyrod had the space to run for the 1st and put us in FG range. Just seemed odd to me and I wonder how much of it was because that was the called play and they just failed to execute.

Best we can finish is 9-7. When I think about the Defense we had last year, the upgrades on offense, just the overall hype going into the season....How is this season anything less than a colossal failure? This game (Eagles) summed up the entire season for me. The only thing surprising to me was the amount of deep passes on 3rd down. (I really wonder if that was Tyrod or the playcalling) But we just were not a prepared team out there. We were back to our penalties. The pass rush was mediocre at best. And we leave the field a loser against a very beatable team. Oh yeah, and another game where "emotion" was high and we couldn't transfer it into a win. Honestly, I'm just sick of all of it. I have no reason to believe that next year will be any better because I genuinely believe this is a coaching issue. This is a game played with emotion and how that emotion is channeled falls on the coach. We saw what this defense is capable of last year and with our 2nd game against NE. Yet we continue to run schemes that neuter our rushers. Rex owns this team. He owns the result. There is no evidence whatsoever to indicate he is capable of getting this team ready to play when they need to. At least not in the duration to win critical games or WIN MORE THAN 2 !@#$ING GAMES IN A ROW!?!?! There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if all we did was bring in Greg Roman, keep last years staff (I know that Marrone quit), we would be in control of the wildcard right now. Instead, I guess we are looking forward to the draft and another year of Rex's loud mouth expunging hot air. !@#$ you Rex and Good night

That's two he could have either ran for it or checked down for the first. I'm all for the deep ball, but take the first if they give it to you -
It's fine when your defense is playing at a high level. We just don't have that

Is it me, or does Woods fall a lot
Virgil replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I overall think he just isn't engaged. His comments about having to block so much, his body language on the sidelines, and overall drop in targets. I think he's just no there mentally this season -
Tyrod was everything I wanted in a QB today

Don't worry, I got it bad. Symptoms can range from; pointless optimism, deep depression, hallucinations, severe criticism, desire to raid the fridge, isolation, and a totally healthy need to punch Patriots fans. -

Virgil replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anything that can be picked apart and harped on, will be. I'm amazed this has stayed on topic this long. I didn't take it as criticism. I wasn't saying he was perfect anyways. But he played a complete game that I want as a started. That comes with good and bad. -
Agreed. I was pissed about a few of the trick plays early on, but they definitely paid off later.

I'll give you that one dropped int, but I equally think that's as much him following a progression and a zone in the right place, right time
