  1. I’m sorry, but an NFL field is not the place to be protesting IMO. The national anthem is really designed to honor those men and women who served in the military and in some instances gave their lives/lost limbs doing so. If players want to raise awareness for these issues there are other ways to do so that don’t require the use of their employers platform.
  2. https://www.sentencingproject.org/publications/color-of-justice-racial-and-ethnic-disparity-in-state-prisons/ Read this. There are over 5X the amount of African-Americans in jail compared to white people. Racial biasing in policing absolutely does exist and is part of the problem, but there are also plenty of other contributing factors to this that need to be addressed.
  3. It seemed as if Biden was making ground with older/white voters whom went heavily for Trump in 2016. Since these riots are happening largely in blue states/cities I could see this negatively impacting this particular groups perception of democratic leadership. It might not be a bad idea for Biden to publicly criticize De Blasio whom once again has proven to be completely inept.
  4. I’m so sick of these clickbait articles. This exercise can be done by anyone on an message board or twitter.
  5. My concern with paying Dak is the 1/2 a season he played without Amari Cooper.
  6. I really think it’s in Tuas best interest to sit out this season (or its majority). By all accounts he suffered a very serious injury. It’s tough enough to play QB in the NFL as a rookie-spending the entire offseason rehabbing a major injury on top of that adds another major challenge. Add that to the fact that there were no mini camps/rookie OTAs. I’d imagine he will also be somewhat limited at the start of training camp. Fitz has a tendency to revert back into a pumpkin when folks start talking him up.
  7. What are the chances Ryan Fitzpatrick regresses? 80-90 percent? Tua is good prospect, but its a bit of a stretch that he is going to come in and play well as a rookie, coming off a broken hip, and in a limited offseason.

  9. Honestly people have every right to be outraged. How the hell did all those cops sit there and allow that happen? You think one guy would have had a brain and realized they were being recorded and that it looked really bad.
  10. Most Valuable Bills of the decade per PFF WAR 1. Tyrod Taylor 2. Ryan Fitzpatrick 3. Jairus Byrd 4. Micah Hyde 5. Stevie Johnson
  11. I’ve watched: 4 years of Mark Sanchez 2 years of Geno Smith 2 years of Sam Darnold 3 guys, 8 seasons, and bottom 5 QB play each year. Fans try so hard to prop their guy up, but if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck-it’s not an eagle, it’s a duck. Bills/Jets/Giants fans can hope and pray, but if I’m a betting man all three guys aren’t going to be future top 10 QBs based on what I’ve seen.
  12. Road Graders? With the exception of Becton the Jets oline is all smaller/athletic guys who are considered better pass blockers than run blockers. I think most Jets fans are hoping this unit can improve from awful to average. We aren’t talking about the Hogs here.
  13. Its all click bait. There is zero content right now in the sports world so editors are having their media personalities discuss/write about things that rile up the masses. I’m so nauseated by power rankings and QB rankings. How many of these geniuses had SF in the Super Bowl and Lamar Jackson the MVP this time last year?
  14. The NFL is pretty good at this, but not perfect. You are 100 percent correct that they outsmart themselves often. Josh Allen last year was prime example: Terrific production as a 4 year starter, top notch athleticism, team captain, played vs SEC competition. He should have absolutely been a top 3-4 pick and somehow falls to 7. Why? Because NFL scouts started nitpicking the way he got the sacks and claimed his pass rush moves weren’t adequate. DeShaun Watson another great example of this. He fell because teams claimed he was too much of a first read guy and that wouldn’t translate at the next level. I think scouts sometimes forget how young these guys are and the fact that the NFL has coaches for a reason.
  15. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/chiefs-chairman-says-patrick-mahomes-contract-extension-talks-will-begin-this-summer/ 40MM seems like a bargain if Dak gets 35.
  16. That record was a bit of a mirage because of the competition, but you can only play who’s on your schedule. I do think the Jets had a very underrated defense. They were well coached and it’s a unit that features a lot of “workman” like guys who are young, hungry, and have played together for a while. On offense its a completely different story. Poorly coached and breaking in a ton of new pieces.
  17. It’s hard to imagine another Patriots level dynasty that sustains for 10 years let alone 20. Could I see a team going on a run and winning two Super Bowls in four years or three in five? Sure, but the league just isn’t designed for dynasty’s. Think about how much roster turnover there is in the NFL. How many Buffalo Bills players were on the roster three years ago? I can guaranty you that three years from now 3/4ths of the roster will change. That’s how it works in this league.
  18. I bought 40 shares of draft kings stock just to try it out. An interesting one to me is Entercom which owns a lot of the sports radio stations. Their is down to $1.03 per share. Overall a lot of the media companies look to be undervalued.
  19. Look for Oliver to serve a four game suspension in 2021 end thread
  20. I wonder how many lives we would have saved had we encouraged families to pull their relatives from nursing homes. PA/NJ/NY mandated nursing homes to accept Covid patients which was incredibly dumb Did anyone really think having the sick and elderly living amongst each other in a communal environment during a pandemic was a good idea?
  21. Please do not compare stats in Elways era to QBs today. If you look just at stats you’d probably wonder how Elway and Brett Favre are in the HOF. It’s no different than comparing Joe Namath to Elway and Favre back in the 90s. It’s a totally different sport. John Elway was probably the best QB prospect of all time. He was far more accurate down the field than what Allen has shown thus far. As for Darnold? I think he mostly closely resembles Jameis Winston both in terms of style of play and inconsistency.
