A DC late in the playoffs is gonna come up with a gameplan that befuddles him for long enough to lose the game. They frequently look like an all time great team in regular seasons

If they didn’t throw one pass that game they probably had a better shot than what Lamar did…Josh was only ‘outplayed’ because the bills were playing conservative with a lead due to some horrible Lamar mistakes. and if Andrews catches that 2 pointer, Josh probably drives down and wins the game. People makin it sound like Andrews dropped a walkoff win lol it’s ridiculous. couple that with Lamar was going up against an ok bills defense with a bad matchup and Josh was going against a ravens defense that was playing real well in recent history

Ravens tackled so freakin well all game…I don’t even think Brady called that bad of a game tbh. Kyle Hamilton is a beast it felt like he was everywhere

The better team doesn’t go -3 in the turnover battle Seemed audibled into…it actually looked like it was set up pretty well but nobody held a block.. a lot of those quick screens were the right read and you’ve gotta trust your guys to make plays at some point but the ravens just weren’t having it 🤣.

Seemed like a bit of load management going on with the Buffalo defense this year makin sure guys stayed healthy for the playoffs. Looked like Epenesa lost snaps to Von last week and I wouldn’t be surprised to see that again. Von was right at 50% last week but he probably got pulled when the game got out of hand so i wouldn’t be too surprised to see him at 55-60ish

Ok but how does that improve Jared Goff lol this was the commanders…yea maybe you find a way past them with a healthier defense but it was just the first step. They’d still have to get through the eagles and whoever is in the Super Bowl. Do you have full confidence in Goff to get that done? I l think it’s pretty fair to have doubts especially when you couple it with getting pantsed by belichick in the superbowl with the rams and one of the best offensive minds in the nfl giving up on him not to mention Ben Johnson is leavin so that could have a negative impact too idk why we’re so hellbent on choosing one thing to get all the blame in a game lol. The defense was bad of course, but Goff wasn’t good either

I’d probably be drafting some mid-late round qbs if I was Detroit out of mild concern…yea the defense was bad but that’s pretty independent of how Goff played. It’s not the first time Goff has had a down game at the worst possible time in a great offensive system. And the wizard behind that previous offensive system felt he had to take a huge swing at qb cuz Goff just wasn’t quite good enough

I’m sure they got a pretty good glimpse at what McVay saw in LA but I just don’t know what they can do to instantly upgrade the position. Any other guy they could realistically bring in is pretty much Jared Goff at best on a good day

Too old most likely. He has said he’d like to come back as a head coach a few times but I think that’s the hangup for teams. Even if he’s good I think it’s assumed he’s not gonna coach well into his 70s so you probably are only getting 5-6 years of him then starting over with the ‘he’s a failed head coach’ risk on the back of peoples minds I think the age thing is just one too many points against him
