  1. Our team isn’t allowed to earn anything in the gdt 😂
  2. Its a heck of a lot better than their offense but still only average I’d say lol
  3. If anyone’s been watching the World Series there’s a commercial for bills Seahawks on Fox and it’s all about Tom Brady with no mention of the bills or Seahawks 😂
  4. I think they must have some algorithm that turns their ticket sales from certain zip codes into total game attendance…I doubt it’s very accurate though 🤣
  5. The only thing keeping his struggles from being the most talked about story in football is people giving him the benefit of the doubt due to past seasons which it’s obviously fair to say he’s earned. At face value this year so far though he’s been pretty bad honestly with or without rashee (a player he literally injured himself) If the kadarious Toney move didn’t turn into such a huge flop after a ton of hype maybe I’d feel like Hopkins is a 100% sure thing at this stage in his career but I’m not completely sold on it.. it just doesn’t seem like a perfect fit on paper to me even if he gets up to speed quickly, the chiefs don’t really throw jump balls/tight window throws at all which is what Hopkins specializes in. Still a good move they needed to make but I’m not sure it’s gonna be earth shattering
  6. Most of this thread has been like that 😂. I’ve got a feeling Diggs/josh were pushing for it although we’ll probably never know. Diggs seemed to get pretty disgruntled when Dorsey left
  7. He’s great for sure but some of this like ‘the chiefs never miss on draft picks and every move they make is absolutely genius and Reid can turn any player into an all star’ type stuff goes a bit too far imo 🤣
  8. I used to mock ‘the nfl is rigged’ believing people but my goodness lol
  9. I think he’s here to perform against the chiefs who just hold the everliving sh*t out of whoever you line up there and get away with it anyway haha. So big physical target with a good catch radius is at a premium. At face value everyone got hung up on the speed thing though 🤣
  10. It is and it isn’t imo. That’s probably personal taste though. I’d give the guy the benefit of the doubt for dropping balls when he spends most of the game watching horrible passes sail over his head and into the dirt…it’s probably really hard to get in a rhythm that way. with all this diggs vs cooper talk I’ve been trying to envision how diggs would be acting on that browns team right now and it ain’t pretty 😂
  11. Crazy part is I don’t think cooper was even on the field for any of Coleman’s catches last week
  12. He wasn’t out of work long 🤣
  13. Bummer they didn’t uphold that td that was a heck of a play that will now not even be a highlight
  14. Lol I mean the main point was Watson has missed cooper at an alarming rate so when the ball does actually get to him im sure he’s not as dialed in as he would be in normal circumstances. I read some stat a few weeks back that his off target percentage when targeting cooper was 45% which was the highest seen in over a decade im assuming watsons completion percentage is pumped up by a high amount of dumpoffs due to him holding the ball too long. his yards per attempt is very close to bottom in the league...he’s down there with the Jacoby brissetts of the world 😂. So his overall completion percentage is not at all a good indicator of how accurate he has been when targeting cooper
  15. Good players get traded all the time…he was a clear cap casualty in Dallas and Cleveland is completely blowing it up the best they can so they are unloading good players for picks I think the drop thing is a bit overblown personally, it’s probably very tough to get in a rhythm when most of the time you are open and your qb completely misses you. Gabe had a lot more consistent qb play in buffalo and now Jacksonville even than Amari had in Cleveland and it still never really came together for him. Trevor’s wrs are letting him down bad down there in Jacksonville they drop everything also the ‘ran out of town’ isn’t even comparable. Gabe was not resigned and Amari got traded for draft picks because he actually had value
  16. Don’t think it was really the catch percentage that ran gabe out specifically lol his route tree was like two routes
  17. Even the jets will have trouble losing this week 😂
  18. I feel like we’re gonna want to keep cooper around and it’s gonna be up to him if he wants to stay. He’s just physically and mentally such a perfect fit for what we need and letting him walk would throw an unknown into the mix for a year we should be competing I’d take prime Hopkins over prime cooper probably but coopers skillset seems like it’s gonna hold up better now that these guys are on the downswing a bit
  19. Cap casualty in Dallas, literally was traded from Oakland and Cleveland because he was a good player on a mess of a team. I think he’s gonna go off in Buffalo personally. The guy was a good sport playing for some garbage teams. His ‘down year’ this year in Cleveland is very hard to blame him for, he was on pace for 700 ish receiving yards on one of the worst passing offenses of all time 😆. That’s hardly a down year contextually
  20. He/the gm straight up bungled three 1st-2nd round wr picks early on in Philly too that probably cost them a Super Bowl or two. The guy is obviously a great coach but this whole ‘every time he has his eyes on a wr they are guaranteed to be great’ stuff definitely went way too far haha his wr hit rate isn’t significantly better than anyone else’s especially if you factor in some of the free agents/players acquired through trades
  21. This is a topic for if he’s still running hard late in the season. I’d probably be giving him somewhat limited snaps at this point to keep him fresh if it was me, the ravens can pretty much score however they want.
  22. If it goes well and he wants to be here they’ll resign him. People are concerned looking at the available cap now but there’s always a few restructures part of what made the deal so interesting is cooper was very likely a free agent beane was eyeing for next offseason anyway. So we got a ‘try before you buy/first dibs on signing him next year’ situation without giving up much. If they want to take an all in-ish swing next year they could play around with coopers future years in his contract
  23. There’s this weird notion that Reid is some kind of wr developing savant and if the chiefs wanted worthy he had to be good but it’s not really grounded in reality lol If we’re lookin at wr picks in the first few rounds in his coaching career it’s a very mixed bag. Some of the eagles biggest busts in his tenure were early round wr picks and he hasn’t exactly crushed those type of picks with the chiefs either. The eagles would probably have an extra superbowl or two if reid could’ve developed the first couple names in this list Todd Pinkston- bad Freddy Mitchell- horrible Reggie Brown-bad Desean Jackson-great Jeremy Macklin - good Mecole Hardman- kinda bad Skyy Moore- bad Rashee Rice - good at minimum but could be great Xavier Worthy-? despite being a later pick I think tyreek has to get mentioned here because of how good he is recent free agent/trade acquisitions: juju- meh Toney- horrible MVS- bad sammy Watkins- kinda bad demarcus Robinson- bad
  24. I wonder how salty diggs is that Minnesota hit a home run replacing him in the draft then we brought in cooper after he left who is seeming like he could be an upgrade lol
  25. nobody can admit the chiefs have made any player evaluation mistakes because it adds validity to the argument that ‘every team misses on picks/picks up free agents that don’t work out’ when discussing mcd and beane 😂 it’s kind of funny honestly. yes the chiefs are great and yes they have made bad moves…both things can be true
