  1. You want him to throw injured guys in down the stretch to keep a very small shot at the 1 seed alive?
  2. You mean ever? Haha of course they do. I have not suggested Elam is a good corner and he was trailing the play by a step and was in a full sprint to catch up
  3. While trying to keep up with another professional athlete lol
  4. Looked like boutte was pulling away late…would’ve been even more open if Elam slowed up to turn his head
  5. Spector was horrendous and easily exploitable last week I’d expect the defense to not look very good in this one either
  6. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills with people suggesting not only do we never play man but we’re the only team that plays a good amount of two high safety 😂
  7. Yea that second half probably ended saquon’s chances imo…it was lookin like he could get back into the convo in the first half
  8. Seemed like the commanders loaded up against the run in the second half…Barkley has had like 11-13 carries somewhere in there and hasn’t really done much
  9. The jets are in pretty much every game up to this point then completely unravel to be fair 😂
  10. They gotta hold on though or we’re getting Baltimore round 2 very very likely
  11. Of course we worked our way up to perennial-ish 2 seed right when they took away the 2 seed bye lol I feel like by that same logic the broncos or chargers defense can have a good game and shut us down and their offense can do enough against our playoff defense to beat us too though. this bengals thing feels like another slightly overreacting to past trauma situation lol theyll score more points than the others but losing to them seems like it’s as likely to losing to the broncos or chargers to me
  12. Cam despises Josh and everyone can see it lol I think it’s a jealousy thing
  13. They’ve been pretty quiet this year lol
  14. True but theres not wanting Josh and there’s ’if Josh is good the bills will have outsmarted every human and math itself’ 😂.
  15. Not covering the spread does not equal losing.
  16. Yea past demons vs kc aside they are the better matchup for us compared to Baltimore imo. Baltimore going out to kc and getting knocked out is a pretty decent spot
  17. I think I’d rather Steelers win to keep Baltimore in a wildcard spot then they likely finish 5 or 6 and go out to kc round 2 not that pit is a pushover but something like Denver - Pit - KC/Bal doesn’t seem like too bad of a path
  18. While we’re entertaining unlikely scenarios there’s a chance that we’re the 1 seed and kc has cincy in the first round 😂
  19. I don’t even think teams are considering that possibility tbh…Denver would have to lose out (this is the one fairly likely part),cincy would have to win out, and one of Indy and miami can’t win out against TEN,NYG,JAX(Indy) / SF,CLE,NYJ (Miami) even if cincy wins out I think Indy winning out is gonna keep them out
  20. Indy finishes with titans giants jags so even if the bengals win out and Denver loses out it’s still gonna take some luck for cincy. Three way tie at 9-8 makes that Indy vs Denver h2h irrelevant miami would jump them too if they won out. Cincys conference record is terrible right now
  21. Idk his first year here he was great then after the injury our pass rush imploded the rest of the season
  22. Probably just trying to minimize how truly awful the giants looked against him 😂 the 34-3 argument doesn’t put him head and shoulders above Josh’s td-turnover output idk why people keep getting caught up in that. I haven’t looked at it in a little bit so I might be slightly off here but I believe they have the same amount of total tds and Lamar actually has one more total turnover. He’s got 5 lost fumbles I think to Josh’s 2
  23. Von’s got a better than solid pressure rate imo and when he gets pressure it happens very quickly. I’m not sure id have to look too hard to find him impacting a game in a big moment. Obviously his time so far has been disappointing with the injury then the useless 2023 so he’s gotta really apply the wow factor to get back in people’s good graces that is totally understandable. I think he’s been good but not special so far this year which is a monumental improvement over last year limited sample size but what looks like it’s holding Solomon back is losing the edge on runs.
  24. Not saying your overall analysis is wrong by any means but the injury derailed everything so it’s tough to assign full blame for the thought process behind the signing imo. We were likely a top flight pass rusher away and with the start he had it was looking like Von was gonna be just that. I can see why beane pulled the trigger on it, heck if we beat out the rams for that midseason von trade the year before yea it would’ve lost us some resources long term but I think there’s a very good chance it would’ve been us holding the trophy. If anything I think beanes biggest regret is not grabbing him sooner. He was a beast for LA in that superbowl run
  25. That’s without a doubt a little too high for them at minimum because the ESPN score is absolutely ridiculous haha but I think Thuney/Humphrey and to a lesser extent Smith cancel out the bad tackles and get them ranked pretty high in metrics like this. it’s easier to see what’s not working well but Humphrey and Thuney are probably the best pass blockers at their position in the league and Trey smith is definitely good too. I don’t dig into kc a ton despite watching the games but I wonder if some of the issue is Reid scheming up plays that don’t give his tackles a lot of help. Most teams with a weak link or two on the OL do a lot to help at least one of those guys out. Usually when it’s noticeable I’ll see a maxx Crosby type just destroying them coming off the edge one on one.
