Realizing he wasn’t beating baker jr in a foot race after that he slowed down and cut it inside which allowed quandre diggs to make the tackle. baker jr was beating him in a foot race for sure but he wasn’t getting dusted by quandre Diggs by any means all these sprinter 40 comparisons are weird because they’re not getting into a freakin fistfight before they run 😂

I think people are saying you don’t have your max speed/burst/energy etc after fighting off a tackle and stumbling for awhile and then running an immediate 40 with no break not really in a super straight line while you avoid tackles right after lol a 40 yard dash you’re starting fresh from scratch…it doesn’t really compare that clean. Those little things can add up to you being off by multiple tenths of seconds which is huge in a 40

He had a down year last year (by his standards lol). This year he seems like he cannot be beat though

Daboll also had the time before parity started to whittle away at us for being a perennial contender and mostly before a big josh Allen contract kicked in and still oversaw some absolute head scratching offensive games every year

It’s crazy close situationally before even getting to coaching haha I can’t figure out what’s ’bad faith’. Chiefs tackles suck but their interior oline is ridiculous, bills oline has been fine but prettt underwhelming. Neither of them have really been surrounded by pass catching threats the last year and a half.

He had like 17 more total tds than mahomes last year and 4 more ints lol I’d love to know why not. Maybe now that Amari cooper showed up when he gets acclimated it’s a bit uneven but up until now I can’t even fathom what’s bad faith about that. mahomes has had better oline play/better skill position players/better coaching for years and now two of those things have evened out a bunch

Goffs like 25th in qbr, he’s definitely in play but I don’t think he’s top tier at this moment at least

Mahomes and Allen are finally in similar offensive situations where you can actually make a decent comparison and josh is currently outplaying mahomes imo i mean I totally respect the past performance/ mahomes has the accolades / he will rebound take too but that first paragraph is just as accurate of a way to look at it too this is going back the last 1.5 years too it’s not really a tiny sample size

I think he’s got the inside mvp track this year honestly if they’re up in the 2 or the 3 seed area. Its getting unlikely mahomes could even turn these stats around enough even if chiefs are the 1 seed probably josh or Lamar leading the way right now

Yes it’s ridiculous for sure but it’s a futures bet so they’re assuming he’ll turn it around. If this trend continues he’ll have no shot. the current odds are just saying he’s the qb of the best team pretty much
