I think some people list them and if someone buys them great but if not they go themselves. That bills pats wildcard game felt like there was a ton of available tickets but looked packed at game time. I don’t remember seeing many pats fans at all. If a lot of locals don’t want to go out in super cold weather I doubt ravens fans would want to either lol

Can’t even point to the NFC lol those rams and Bucs teams were absolutely stacked and only missing a qb and both added a hof-er the year they won it.

Comparing this game to Bengals playoff game
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Ga boy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t even know if that regular season analysis is right…our oline straight up dominated the cincy dline the one offensive drive we had and we obviously would’ve gone for that 4th and short if we had to playoff game looked like we were on rollerskates in the trenches im still scratching my head a bit on that one. I want to believe we had some cleat issue in that light snow but that could definitely be cope lol. The niners bills game actually reminded me a lot of that bills bengals playoff game but that time the niners were on skates so if my cope is somehow true maybe we figured that issue out 🤣 -
These kind of posts always give me a chuckle, the best coach of all time needed a lucky break of an OT coin toss to get past the chiefs, that’s really no different than us the coin just fell the pats way that night. the only other AFC coach to get past them is Zac Taylor who is pretty dreadful imo. The dude just missed the playoffs with a stacked team because his team is just not ready to play for a huge chunk of the regular season the chiefs are in the position that they’re in largely because of regular season success I don’t get why people can’t see that. their path to the Super Bowl is often a bye, a joke, and one tough game that could go either way. Contrast that to the bills with the 2 seed this year, they have an extra 50/50 game against the ravens which HEAVILY cuts into their superbowl appearance odds.
-
I don’t think they break it down by name probably to protect people’s social medias getting flooded by crazies lol I’m actually more confident josh will win mvp after hearing that analysis…he really only needs a handful of Lamar all pro voters to flip for mvp. the vote totals were 109 points to 78 which seems like a big difference but each first place vote for all pro was worth 3 points so it’s not that big of a gap if some people flip. Clearly some voters think there’s a difference between all pro and mvp cuz burrow got a couple first place votes…doubt he’d get any for mvp
-
I hate that we/the ravens cheapened this argument a small amount last year cuz there’s a bunch of truth to it. Chiefs were just freakishly healthy last year or they wouldn’t have gone on that run imo and the bills got roughed up beating the Steelers and to cap it off they got absolutely stupid lucky in two games they absolutely should’ve lost to grab the 1 seed and a couple years ago we played 1 less game because a guy died on the field and they got the 1 seed by 1 game
-
Yea it is a bit odd for sure…the 10 degree avg temp drop in Buffalo compared to other places knocks you into the avg temp being freezing which factors in I’m sure but you’d think he’d get unlucky and get more real cold ones in places he plays from time to time I wouldn’t be surprised to hear he played like 4 or 5 games in freezing weather but 2 seems wild I ended up going to the pats Titans playoff game the week after bills jags….bought tickets in case the bills won and had some pats fan friends so figured I’d go and root against them rather than selling haha. I was like pssh it’s Boston how cold could it be and didn’t layer up at all. That was probably the coldest I’ve ever been haha
-
I thought you had me but allegedly Chicago is a degree or two warmer on average in January 😂. Totally forgot about them though lol I go to Chicago most summers and it’s hot as hell so they didn’t even cross my mind for cold
-
They’re probably gonna add yet another playoff team too 😂
-
I mean them rarely ever playing in games that cold is significant…their receivers don’t have the best hands in normal weather. The bills play in it a good amount and know what to expect. Might not be a big advantage for the home team but it is one
-
I think Buffalo is a good 9-10 degrees colder on average in January than anywhere else Lamar is likely to play so you never know. Crazy stat but there’s a chance it’s legit im gonna fact check myself on this but I think Buffalo is probably the second coldest city where people play outdoors with Green Bay being number 1
-
Was so excited to go to a game warmer than that bills pats playoff game and it’s gonna be like 3 degrees warmer 😂
-
Kinda flies under the radar cuz people were in panic mode a bit for that two game stretch but Shakir got banged up early in the ravens game and likely wasn’t 100% then he missed the whole Texans game which made a not great situation at receiver pre coopers arrival much worse
-
Haha almost positive he picked Denver last week
-
Steelers looked like they straight up quit before halftime that was such a strange game. He might draw the Marlon Humphrey matchup…not sure if they’ll run him outside or in the slot against Shakir. Kind of crazy to think about that we had neither of those guys last time 😂 edit: was misremembering the games Shakir got taped up and went back in against Baltimore but clearly wasn’t 100% he missed the Texans game the next week
-
The ravens are so much better than the bills that nearly everyone picks them to win an extremely close game haha that never made sense to me. Where are the two score win predictions if they’re that likely to win
-
Looks like the vote for all pro qb went: Lamar 109 points 30 first place votes josh 78 points 18 first place votes burrow 13 points 2 first place votes josh would need 6ish of the 30 first place Lamar voters to flip or maybe a bit less/more depending on if those burrow voters go a different way for mvp. Definitely seems possible and that’s probably why the odds didn’t go super lopsided once all pro was announced. Also it’s possible some go for a non qb for mvp so this is just a very rough estimate
-
Apples and oranges imo…the bills schematically could not even really attempt anything but their base nickel in the first matchup because they were missing pretty much everyone they would’ve needed to run something else and the ravens knew it. They briefly tried adding morrow as a 3rd Lber to go along with an ok linebacker that is pretty bad in coverage,a linebacker who’s awful at everything, a rookie safety that missed camp seeing his first significant time and a decent enough dime db forced to play nickel who was terrible also. I promise you if the roles were reversed you would be saying all the same things this isn’t just fan bs but you can certainly choose not to take my word for it if you wish 😂. This wasn’t a talented roster underperforming, it had to be one of the worst defensive lineups playing considerable minutes in a game for any team all year. It was like the quality of a team who is blowing someone out and pulls most of their defensive starters but their opponent has their starting offense in still and moves the ball easily haha there were guys to pick on all over the field
-
Social media is always bitter to be fair haha I think talkin to real people about it leads to a real interesting debate about what the mvp should mean. In fact making Josh’s case heard should improve the validity of the award in the future imo even if he doesn’t win. If it’s an almost entirely stats driven thing that’s fine, just be consistent with it or it’s just a popularity contest. I don’t think it’s diminishing Lamar’s accomplishments at all to say he probably was not the number 1 most valuable player in the league last year and that the methodology that won him the award last year has been pretty much turned on its head this year. It really has nothing to do with him as a player at all and the issue is entirely with the voters in my mind. Lamar is a great player and seems like a genuinely good dude.
-
Isnt ‘wind’ the excuse the anti mcd crowd uses for why we beat Baltimore last time in the playoffs 😂 probably makes it a little easier to add LBers on defense without Josh being effected very much on the other side of the ball if it’s a little windy. A gale force wind pats game situation would not be good but a steady breeze hurts the ravens more imo
-
Yea that’s not getting talked about enough…seemed like we knew we’d win if we didn’t turn the ball over and were guarding against getting roped into a bills dolphins wildcard game type situation
-
Yea I believe the sharps are early mostly…sometimes you hear a story of a huge bet coming in late if the public drove a line way in the wrong direction m but there’s more action from them early on even sharps though are only right a little more than half the time they’re just right a little more than half the time in a huge sample size
-
Calling it right now we will win and flowers being out will be the excuse used by the media and our negative contingent of fans alike despite lending no credence to the bills defense being ravaged the last time these two teams met or the chiefs just dunking on aj Klein all game last year 😂
-
Lamar being announced mvp after losing to the bills I would enjoy probably even more than Josh winning MVP tbh lol a three time mvp winner hardly ever making it past the divisional round would be completely unprecedented and expose the award as the pretty silly popularity contest it is imo.

NFL MVP & All Pro - it’s the Associated Press that Decide!?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The pro bowl voting is mostly players and coaches I believe and that goes even worse than the mvp voting haha
