  1. It seems like they selected the ref the chiefs have a mediocre record with to avoid any possible controversy so you never know. I think it’s gonna be a classic no flags game with both sides absolutely manhandling eachother lol
  2. I still don’t really see this after going through the game again. Lots of execution issues in the second half…the offense didn’t really fundamentally change between halves at all though to my eye there were only 4 total offensive drives outside of the game sealer, one was killed by a missed connection to Kincaid, one was killed by Josh probably reading the defense right but having false confidence in Knox to pick up that first on the TE screen audible, one was killed by what looked to me to be a pretty big hold of Shakir although maybe it’s uncatchable, the goal line sequence is certainly questionable but we valued taking that 8 point lead. I don’t think we ever doubled up on runs on any series of downs.. looked like Baltimore committed more resources to slowing down the run as their second half adjustment which probably should’ve made throwing easier we just weren’t connecting. Some of it was your classic playoff grabby defense which maybe we benefited from a bit too
  3. This is exactly the kind of ‘grass is greener’ stuff I’m talking about. In your mind the SF defense played good and the offense let them down and the bills offense was high flying and let down by their defense? Final scores last year: Chiefs: 27 Bills: 24 Chiefs: 25 49ers: 22 let’s just talk about how those three teams/hcs have fared against mahomes+kc that you implied are upgrades: Shanahan: 0-5 career vs kc 0-2 playoffs Taylor: 3-3 career vs kc 1-1 playoffs **lost last 3 (1 playoff game) and fired DC Harbaugh: 1-5 career vs kc. 0-1 playoffs rolling those stats up into one, the teams you mentioned are 4-13 against KC (1-4 playoffs). Just Harbaugh and Shanahan are 1-10 against them and even that one win was awfully lucky. KC more or less had it sealed up and fumbled the game away. Those 3 dudes combined have as many wins against KC in the mahomes era as just McD lol. In the last two years, they are 0-7 and mcd is 2-1 with a shot at 3-1 it absolutely boggles my mind they get talked up with regards to kc and that some people around here have enough confidence in a completely unproven first time head coach to fire pretty much the only guy having any kind of success against kc in the league 😂 Reid would laugh his a** off if the bills fired mcd this year lol
  4. I just can’t understand this with the chiefs doing absolutely historic things to every coach in the nfl come playoff time. If it was just mcd with the issue I 100% get it. Let’s say for arguments sake they beat the bills and threepeat this year against the eagles. That would put them at 18-3 in the mahomes era in the playoffs with the only loss in regulation being against the Bucs in the superbowl. Clearly if you’re gonna beat them it is pretty much assured it’s gonna be a ridiculously close game that could go either way much like the last two playoff games we played against them and all of the recent regular season ones. The head coaches responsible for 2 of those 3 wins are retired and the third is Zac Taylor lol like where is this head coach coming from that’s gonna flip the script? In fact, I think a big part in Ben Johnson taking the bears job was to stay in the NFC to avoid the chiefs. if you take out the 4 bills games(assuming we lose this one and they win the Super Bowl) the chiefs would be 14-3 still, and do we really think the ravens would’ve had more luck based on their history vs kc? I doubt it. Baltimore won one fluky game against them where the chiefs fumbled away the game in gw field goal range and lost the rest.
  5. I’ve said a similar thing about broncos fans saying that so I’ve gotta apply this to the bills too. There’s just no such thing as ‘I’m happy with where they made it’ to me. Buffalo will likely always come in as the 2 seed having to get past KC at arrowhead, much like Denver will always come in as a 6/7 seed having to go on the road the whole way. KC isn’t going anywhere and they get to draft players/make moves in free agency too. the bills already do beat them in the regular season and since nobody else can really do it with any consistency it’s not enough to flip the seeding at some point you’ve gotta win this exact game, it’s not gonna get a whole lot easier. KC only has some exploitable holes because they uncharacteristically whiffed on a few OT picks/free agency acquisitions.
  6. Yea I think we swapped them in because they were fresh and fresh did not outrank talent in that moment haha watchin Baltimore pancake the entire dline was wild. A couple of those plays there wasn’t even a passrusher standing 😂 somehow it sort of worked out accidentally because I don’t think we were stopping them in 4 down territory and they scored so fast there was plenty of time left for our offense
  7. It’s so funny because I said the EXACT same thing as you about Denver’s defense overall leading up to the bills game haha so I definitely wasn’t talking about total defense I gotta say I feel like the chiefs fans on here are some of the best opposing fan posters we have, I felt kind of bad I insulted one by accident lol
  8. I’m reading between the lines here and could be entirely wrong, but if it was scheme related I don’t think mcd would want to openly admit that. I’m leaning not injury related but it’s a guess obviously. could be that Milano was absolutely gassed from chasing Lamar down all night
  9. How many times have two playoff teams played eachother 4 times in a 5 year span out of curiosity. just the collision course these two teams are on every year feels historic before you even get to results
  10. This id at least understand but why do we get hit with BS penalties when we’re about to open up the game against scrub teams pretty consistently lol. Felt like it was happening every week
  11. Even when they say certainly individual calls are right they are incorrect, because these supposed ‘right’ calls aren’t called both ways
  12. If it makes people feel better whatever year we ultimately win the superbowl there will be a big group of fans saying we’ve got no chance of winning it every single week all the way up to the superbowl 😂
  13. Oh yea and just because you beat some amazing team doesn’t mean you’re gonna beat the really good team anyway.. beating kc,Detroit,Baltimore makes you feel like anything is possible but you still have to go out and play well.. that’s why one game elimination is so hard
  14. It takes a monumental performance the rest of the game to make up for coughing up really good field position on two turnovers and getting stuffed on the two yard line and Lamar did not do enough. Absolutely a below average game for him but peoples brains only can remember the last 30 minutes these days 😂. I’m all for downplaying like deep ball ints, not every INT is the same. But he set the bills offense up really nice both times. An absolutely horrendous holding call stopped them from probably giving up 14 off those two turnovers they had to go absolutely perfect late td, 2 point conversion, and stopping the bills from driving down for the game winner due to Lamar’s mistakes and didn’t even make it to step 3 of that.. he came up pretty small in all the big moments…the late td that probably doesn’t win the game anyway doesn’t change everything
  15. Probably not a hall of famer but Flacco is the classic guy that hung around too long so you forget that he was actually pretty darn good way back when lol his 2012 playoff run was ridiculous.
  16. well, you missed the word RUSH before defense in my post which was literally the entire point of the post so this is awkward haha im sorry you felt insulted but it’s entirely due to reading comprehension. Baltimore and Denver allowed 3.6 ypc and 4 ypc (1st and 2nd best). in the regular season and were 1st and 3rd in rushing yards allowed per game. If we’re talking about total defense I’d agree that KC is right there with those two teams or better because Baltimore and denver were giving up some big passing plays when they had issues. I was specifically talking about rushing though because that’s what the bills like to do
  17. A lot of those negative plays led to trouble for Baltimore though…Lamar seemed to really struggle when the offense was off schedule. That first negative Henry run led to the INT, second negative Henry run was the goal to go stand, justice hill negative run led to them having to settle for a fg just outside the redzone. Some 10-20 yard runs between the 20s doesn’t hurt you nearly as bad as that stuff is hurting them. An offense like that is gonna get their yards, 5/6 losses they outgained their opponent and the one where they didn’t cleveland outgained them by like 15 yards
  18. Ehh I don’t think so, that was kind of an odd game. That ravens team is an absolute powerhouse just had a pretty flukey game with those missed kicks which forced them to roll the dice earlier on 4th down than they should’ve had to. Philly is still really good don’t get me wrong but they’re a tier below Baltimore imo
  19. On the flip side, the eagles being the only nfc East team to lose their superbowl to the bills would be enjoyed by all outside Philly
  20. 100% agree on Lamar great player and seems like a great dude. The people that talk about him annoy me but he doesn’t. I gotta add that the offensive offside was not the game winning play though lol. Like the game this Sunday, bills had time to go down and score to win the game even if that play counted. And since the td didn’t count, kc still had time to drive down and seal the game leaving us with no time to do anything but they turned it over on downs. Those clowns treated it like a walkoff win got stolen from them but it wasn’t at all the case
  21. I feel like people need to learn how to evaluate a rushing performance especially against a team like that. We were pretty consistently stopping runs in the backfield/for no gain which was putting the ravens in tough spots leading to turnovers and the goal to go stand. The yards per attempt metric doesn’t really tell the story of that game…I thought the ravens ran it too much with Henry if anything. That was one of the best performances I’ve seen against him all year. the problem you run into with Derrick Henry usually is it’s really difficult to stop him from gaining at least 3-4 yards at minimum even when you’re bottling him up so the offense always stays on schedule. The bills turned that on its head
  22. Lol Im sure he knows Hamlin is bad in coverage but I think he just didn’t see him on that play…guarantee you if he could’ve cashed out that throw midair for an incompletion he would’ve done so. Hamlin had all day to get under that one I thought maybe it was the angle I was at or something so I didn’t bring it up initially but now I’ve been seeing videos of it and it was every bit as bad as I thought it was real time 😂
  23. I, a frequent Josh defender, thought Josh played pretty meh and he WON the game lol. I would be livid if he did what Lamar did and wishing he played more like Josh 😂 Brady/mcd are taking some heat that Josh deserves imo. That missed throw to Kincaid and the TE screen audible killed half our drives in the second half but I keep reading the coaching staff neutered him or something…can’t really understand it hes the best player in the league imo but he wasn’t great in this one, didn’t actively hurt the team but didn’t help a ton either. I do think he pulls off the late fg drive to win it if he had to though. Lamar actively hurt his team. Fluky bad snap fumble? He was dancing around before securing the football trying to make a play happen… that was 1000% on him. Had a pass tipped on a huge 2 point conversion, got stuffed in a goal to go situation. He also basically threw another deep ball right at a safety and got away with it because Hamlin misjudged it so bad on top of all the other stuff…I probably could’ve jumped down from the 300 level and caught that pick while the ball was in the air 😂. not sure what Hamlin was doing on that one…looked like he was standing still lining up the pick then it went right over his head at the last second
  24. I think the chiefs are gonna have a hard enough time stopping the run especially if it’s gonna be one of those ‘blind eye to OL holding’ games its flying under the radar but the bills have run the ball effectively on arguably the two best rushing defenses in the league to the point where Payton literally said in his press conference he was baffled by it and I’m sure Harbaugh would agree. The chiefs rush defense is def good/fringe top 10 but ravens/broncos are on a whole other level
  25. Should’ve had three and a chunk less yards while were playing the what if game lol…one of those deep completions he threw pretty much right to Hamlin who misjudged it. If we’re gonna undo an Andrews fumble that play easily could’ve gone the other way too
