They’re gonna loosen up in the second half I’m guessing. Running the ball up the middle is essentially the football equivalent of body blows in boxing. We’ve seen this from the bills all year, they run it up the middle to mitigate the risk of negative yardage plays and it keeps the defense honest/workin hard. Defense knows it’s coming so they don’t always look sexy on the stat sheet but they’re still accomplishing goals

Based on last weeks game where we comfortably put away a pretty good colts team at full strength playing for their season on the road? 😂 if wins like that don’t count the chiefs would have a much worse record lol -

The post season sample size is tiny…I really think this is closer to coincidence than anything given how close these games have been almost every time. the regular season / playoff result easily could’ve flipped the last couple years it’s honestly pretty crazy, if Dawkins holds up an extra split second maybe we hold on to win and then we’re 4-1 against the chiefs in the last 5 with the only loss being 13 seconds. But instead people make it sound like the chiefs spank us all the time around here 🤣 -
You should still be fined for continuously punching a player in the head even if you were going for the ball at first. A couple of those punches weren’t even remotely close to the ball defenders trying to lead with their shoulder on hits that end up hitting helmet to helmet get fines all the time

We’ll never know as mere football fans but I really don’t think teams think this way lol seeding is ridiculously important. I think these teams pull out all the stops against eachother in the regular season outside of risking players getting reinjured. I don’t think there’s a big difference in effort level between the regular season and playoffs between these two teams.
