He isn’t just affecting the game “playing QB” was my point. Jared Goff had a helluva game. He’s had a great year. There’s high level QB play, and there’s 1 of 1 QB play. Josh is giving us the second and is 1-1 in his last two games, not just playing nearly mistake free, but making plays that only he can make. There’s probably some folks that think the difference between a Goff and Josh on this team would have us 9-5 instead of 11-3. I would argue it’s closer to 5-9. That’s how much Josh is doing.

He’s just better than Jim, man. It’s okay to admit it lol

You don’t watch enough NFL games if you think Josh is playing like other QB’s this year.

It’s a fair gripe. Kelly saved his worst football for the end. He’s still a HoFer and one of the best QBs to ever put on a Bills uni. But he was like the anti-Aikman. Aikman would get carried and play horrible all year and then flip a switch come postseason. Kelly would be throwing all over the yard all year til the end and would lay an egg.

Not convinced the 1 seed will be up for grabs. Also not convinced that Bishop vs Hamlin will be difference between beating the woeful Jets/Pats x2. You don’t even have to play him all game. Let him rotate in for 10 snaps when we have a double digit lead but we aren’t pulling starters yet. Experimenting so guys that we may NEED if someone tweaks an ankle can get reps is the benefit to having some tomato cans at the end imo. If Bishop gets better and shows some stuff on tape, that’s great. If he looks out of place, well at least he got some more experience out there. What I don’t want is his next snap to be if Hamlin/Rapp get hurt at halftime in the AFCCG

If Josh doesn’t put on the cape for the first two drives and get us a 14 point lead making the plays that only he makes, we likely lose that game. Despite Ty Johnson having the game of his life. Despite Spencer Brown playing extremely well. Despite James Cook having some great runs. Despite Joe Brady probably calling his best game of the year. Despite Ed Oliver seemingly making half a season’s of plays in 1 game. It’s honestly not a debate. Other people can do good things or great things. That’s wonderful. The Bills lose without Superman doing Superman things. My evidence for the offense being all Josh Allen is him winning MVP with Mack Hollins playing the most snaps at WR on the team. My evidence for Josh Allen being the entire offense is that he has 900 yards of offense and 10 TD’s in his last two games. And he would have 11 if not for a soft call at the end last night.

Josh just has 4 Super Bowls to play horrible in and lose to surpass Jimbo. Fun fact, Josh already has 5 more TD’s in the playoffs than Kelly and 24 less INT’s.

“No play can entirely be because of the QB” is the take?
-
Man you are gonna die for the Kelly is Goff-tier take. its accurate but that’s never stopped anyone Allen has already surpassed Kelly as the best QB in Bills history. He surpassed him in 2021 tbh. Kelly is still a wall of fame/hall of Famer and has some pelts on the wall that no one will likely ever do, but to win a football game in 2024 or 1994, there’s no contest tbh.

The point disputed is that THAT PLAY is indicative of how much this offense needs Josh to work. The point disputed is the things that Josh does on that play and similar plays ROUTINELY is more than what virtually every other single QB in the league does to make their offenses go. Sure, a completed pass can never be “entirely Josh” because someone has to catch the ball. That’s kinda silly semantics. The bottom line that is extremely obvious to me, is that the Bills not only ask Josh to do more than every other QB in the league, they NEED it and, most importantly, he usually delivers. I consider that to be part and parcel with “the offense is all Josh Allen.”

Stop trying to make Diggs’ tweets and comments a thing. Sorry I must’ve bumped my head. What year is it?

Elite blocking scheme, play design/execution and route run. Folks like @GunnerBill out here acting like Jared Goff doesn’t make plays like this every week???? Look at how many guys Josh needed to not block a free rusher, not get open for at least 10 seconds, and catch a missile that hit them directly in the chest while he’s throwing across his body while rolling to his left. It takes a village! Josh doesn’t do this stuff on his own!

Of the 6 players you listed, only 4 of them are starters. The maximum starters you can lose is 11 lol. The bills didn’t only have 5 other defenders playing.

Detroit had plenty of injuries before the game. Im curious to know what Bills team was missing 7 defensive starters.

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

Haha this topic was made before Beane desperately had to make a WR trade in October. The “haters” already won. It’s quiet because more victory laps just feel gratuitous. -
It was Josh two years ago imo and nothing has changed.

Jared Goff didn't want to be drafted by Buffalo (unsubstantiated)
FireChans replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think you’re wrong. I think in his heart of hearts he probably would’ve preferred somewhere like Denver. And yet, he’s embraced Buffalo and the Bills. Which is why it’s a funny thing to get mad about. -

Very funny thing to get mad about. Do you think Josh Allen was hoping he’d get drafted by the Bills on draft night? -
Last two games prove Allen deserved a dome
FireChans replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its an advantage in the regular season vs the dumpster teams who are making business decisions. less so in the postseason. I don’t think most teams are running for the bus in the playoffs no matter the conditions. -
McDermott deserves praise for JA’s career year
FireChans replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s crazy how the Pats culture fell apart when Brady left. And the Saints culture evaporated when Brees retired. And the Packers culture suffered when Rodgers fell apart. And the Broncos culture disappeared when Peyton retired. And the Colts culture disintegrated when Peyton missed the year or Andrew Luck retired. It’s almost like consistently winning is directly related to finding a great QB. But how would Bills fans recognize this? It’s not like we had a 17 year playoff drought and damn near 20 years of crappy football because that was our gap between having great QB’s. -
Our defense has allowed an average of 43 points and 474 yards over the last two games. Besides that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln ass stat lol.
-
Oh my god. What KC and the Pats did has nothing to do with what this team can or can’t do lol. This can’t be the depth of your understanding of the point. I refuse to believe you are this obtuse.

He gets wide open because even All-Pros can’t cover JAGS for 10 seconds.
