  1. Ravens game probably accounts for a quarter of our pressures like it does for a quartet of our sacks so that’s not surprising.
  2. Just a casual example of our elite blockers, elite protection and elite playcalling. PSYCHE. Allen high steps a free rusher forcing a missed sack, beats the defense to the sideline to buy time, and throws a perfect missile into Coleman’s chest.
  3. What. Are. You. Talking. About. “Win on both sides of the ball” is including defense, right? that’s never gonna happen. Regardless of how much we invest on defense. We are never gonna win on both sides of the ball, because we are never gonna win on defense. Because we have invested tons into the defense and we haven’t WON ON DEFENSE. We haven’t WON ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL. You keep agreeing with me. And then saying you disagree. The difference is you think with EVEN MORE INVESTMENT IN DEFENSE, it’s gonna happen. I think you’re wrong.
  4. Yeah I don’t think the OL is playing bad. I just think Josh makes them look better. Like he makes everyone look better. Like we all knew that Brady made his guys all look better. But somehow this fact of life that Brady’s bums would always fail when they left NE and got overpaid has become lost NFL lore on TBD. Ty Johnson was legitimately close to out of the league. Today, he had basically 100 yards at half in the game of the week against the #1 seed in the NFC. Two guesses on why that is.
  5. What? We are never gonna win on defense with this crew buddy. No matter how much we invest in defense. As evidenced by how much we have invested in defense and how often our D has failed. Up to and including this year. If Mike Vrabel is calling the shots and wants DL in rounds 1 and 2, I’m listening. If not, don’t bother. IMO.
  6. That was worded poorly. The OL is playing well. They don’t always allow a free rusher or get beat. However, almost every time there is a free rusher or the OL gets beat, Josh Allen escapes the sack. Josh Allen’s sack% this year is 3.2%. What do you think his pressure rate is? Double that? Maybe triple it?
  7. You should legitimately check out Dawson Knox’s, Ty Johnson’s and Mack Hollins career pages. That’s EXACTLY what’s happening. Sure Coleman has talent but is a rookie. Cook is a really good RB. OL is playing well but is also bailed out by Allen basically breaking at least 1 tackle in the backfield every time.
  8. The Bills ran a gameplan not dissimilar to the one the Ravens ran v us. Came out using Ty Johnson in the Justice Hill role. Was very good.
  9. When you say “win with both sides of the ball” I assume both sides are “offense” and “defense” right? Did you mean offense and special teams? I shouldn’t have assumed, sorry.
  10. The water boys did their jobs tonight too. They made sure everyone was good and hydrated.
  11. Walked right into that one. Case closed!
  12. I don’t think they put 2 and 2 together, no. I think they love watching Josh. And they notice the stark difference watching anybody but Josh. But they don’t realize it’s almost entirely BECAUSE of Josh. As evidenced by this thread trying to give Ty Johnson credit for his offensive performance. lol.
  13. If you want to win with defense, you better hire Vrabel or peel Belichick away from UNC. Also the Dolphins literally traded multiple picks for Brad Chubb, Jalen Ramsey and drafted an EDGE defender round 1. lol.
  14. Your schtick is very old at this point. We hear all the time on TBD about how other games are “boring.” Folks bemoan the bye week because Bills football is the best show on turf, literally. They get turned off by how many offenses struggle to sustain drives or make big plays. The difference between those games and Bills games is because the Bills have Josh Allen. not because we have McDermott Not because we have a great defense. Not because we have Daboll, Dorsey or Brady. It’s just Josh. Point blank, period.
  15. They do, yeah. Do you think other NFL games are boring on offense, for the most part?
  16. You think I’m contradicting myself? I think more assets devoted to Beane/McD building their defense is a waste of time. As noted by all their assets resulting in whatever the ***** it is we have been watching defensively the last 2 weeks and whatever playoff loss you wanna pick. I would like more offensive assets so Josh doesn’t need to make 3 guys miss to throw to a JAG like Ty Johnson because he needs 10 seconds to get open. Or so Josh doesn’t have to run QB sweeps with 2 minutes left to get first downs. Funny how you are so bad at winning an argument on topic, that you somehow lose two. Lol.
  17. They do understand, they just don’t know why. Why do 90% of Bills fans complain about the quality of other NFL offenses and how other games are “boring.” Its because they are used to watching true, unique greatness that they take for granted
  18. How many of the plays Josh made tonight is Jared capable of making? 60%? That’s the point.
  19. So basically what I’m saying is that Jamyr Gibbs catching well-designed HB screen, making 2 guys miss and getting 12 yards and Josh scrambling out of pressure, making 2 defenders miss tackles/sacks and giving Johnson 8+ seconds to get open to catch a ball for 12 yards imo are graded differently based on player contribution to the play. Do you understand that? Or do you think those plays are equal between OC, QB and RB?
  20. That’s about as close to “it’s all Josh Allen” as you can get in a football game unless he truly is only throwing passes to himself like Mariota. He is a one man army. Ty Johnson is a JAG. A nice JAG who had 100 yards at half because Josh Allen made those plays for him. Plays that Goff needs a talent like Gibbs in order to make. It’s become mundane. But throwing 60 yards in the air after scrambling out of pressure isn’t a mundane play in the NFL at QB. It’s literally just Josh doing stuff only he can do this season.
  21. Um, every pass to Ty Johnson except the rub route? Also the 60 yard bomb running out of bounds to Coleman? Scrambling out of pressure for key first downs or for 20+ yards at the end? What are we talking about? I’m not arguing that Brady didn’t call a great game. He did. Maybe his best game of the year. Kudos for that. I’m arguing that independent of the QB, this offense would not have put up anywhere close to the numbers they did. Ben Johnson called a fine game too. It wasn’t enough. Jared Goff is physically incapable of making half the plays Josh made this game. Full stop. If you switch QB’s, tonight’s result is 64-24. Full stop. You didn’t even accept the bet til they punted lmao.
  22. Disagree with both of those. See the thing that you and @GunnerBill don’t realize is that Josh is out there making 1 of 1 plays look routine. Rolling out of a pressure to hit Cook in stride 8 seconds after the snap for an 30 yard gain isn’t a great play by Cook. It’s a play that Josh is 100% responsible that good/solid QB’s like Goff are INCAPABLE of doing. You are honestly disrespecting the greatness of Josh Allen. Goff on this Bills team doesn’t score 40+ tonight. Not even close. You are so used to watching it you are numb to what you are seeing.
  23. I think you are 100% wrong. Respectfully.
