Randy Moss stepping away, health concerns

Cholangiocarcinoma. brutal -
IMO, while all this conversation about strategy is all well and good, I think we need to have a conversation about Jimmy’s and Joe’s. there were several key plays or big third downs where the call was right, the coverage was good (Taron Johnson was in good position) and Puka just made a play and TJ didn’t. I think the world of Taron, but he may have gotten cooked more than he’s ever been cooked in his career. The coaching adjustments or lack thereof may have changed the game. A few key plays made or not made by some defenders paid handsomely may have also changed the game.

Would you sign up right now for a Buffalo at Kansas City AFCCG?
FireChans replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. KC is our boogeyman but I would sign up for a chance at a couple bounces sending us to the SB. -
The Lions have got to be everyone’s second favourite team…right?
FireChans replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. favorite team is Bills second favorite team is whoever is playing the Chiefs -
Hes basically a pass rush specialist 3T that has seen his pass rushing fall off a cliff. too undersized to do much else consistently. Hes not getting doubled at a high rate. A few years ago it was 55%. This year feels like less. A player getting paid like he does drawing single teams simply needs to win those favorable matchups more. He doesn’t. Hes just not that good. Even when we played the Ravens, they let him penetrate a bit and wash himself out of the play. Another “fine” NFL player drafted and paid to be a star. Common theme.

An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
FireChans replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. Why keep coaches who actively harm your chances of winning? -
Another example of Beane wizardry. How to make a top 10 pick and another $20M in cap space…….disappear!

It’s really simple. There’s a reason Brady said “oh no what are they doing” almost immediately lol -

We stopped them on third down and they punted right after that.

The TO meant if we didn't recover the onside, we would have no chance to touch the ball again on offense. This is what happened If we had 3 TO's, we had a chance to not recover the onside and still touch the ball on offense. This is what couldn't happen because we called TO. As I said above. So it made the chance of that zero. -

FireChans replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
It made it zero. We didn't touch the ball on offense. The game ended without the offense touching the ball. 0% chance to kick a field goal on offense because we never got the ball on offense. That's why I keep asking you if you understand. -
An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
FireChans replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes I believe we could have. I'm not sure if it would have happened. I do know we forced them to punt anyway, so clearly that was a possibility. I'm sure it didn't happen because it didn't have a chance to happen because we called that TO. I don't care if it had a 1% chance of happening. The Bills' decisions made it 0. That's losing football. -

We had a shot at onside kick regardless of the TO situation. The difference between getting the ball back with little time left after a 3 and out and having a chance to get down the field and kick the FG vs never touching ball again on offense was the difference between having 3 TO's or 2 TO's. The Bills effectively guaranteed they would not touch the ball on offense if they didn't recover the onside by taking that TO. Do you understand that? -

Do you understand the difference between it likely not happening and guaranteeing it can't happen? -

Instead they punted the ball and we never touched it again. -

This is 100%, WRONG. If you force a 3 and out with all 3 TO's, you would have maybe 40-45 seconds, not 25. Anyone know if a great QB has ever gotten a FG to win a game with 40 seconds left? -

Do we win last night with anyone else at QB? No. Do we win last night with anyone else at HC? Yes. How long are we going to allow this to continue? -
How many more first and second round picks can we spend on the DL

Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
FireChans replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah we had arguably our best defender with the best chance of stopping Nakua play him all night and he just got abused. Elam can’t really play inside though so it doesn’t really matter if he was active or not. I think Ingram would do better than Elam in that scenario. -
Carter in limited time has played better than Eddy imo. Ed has not looked like a $20M man this season. Maybe he has something nagging we don’t know about.
