  1. Does WGR get to call Beane and ask him some follow up questions lol
  2. He would probably have been pretty good. We saw that when he had maybe the best 4 weapons in totality with Evans and Godwin and Gronk and AB. Nobody said Touchdown Tom was carried to that Super Bowl victory when his defense crushed KC.
  3. He’s hardly the first excellent QB to owe some credit to good defensive performances in the playoffs. There was a guy in NE who is the GOAT who famously had some great playoff defenses.
  4. Thats not how restructures work. Taron got more money up front. He didn’t take a paycut
  5. Sounds like Josh has a really crappy defense in the postseason. Not sure how that makes Joe Burrow crappy.
  6. We all know Joe Burrow was drafted #1 overall to ostensibly the worst team in football and had them in the Super Bowl 22 months later right
  7. Browning looked okay 2 years ago. It’s not really novel at the NFL level. Jalen Hurts benefits from all star receivers. So does Matt Stafford. So does Burrow. So did Tom Brady in Tampa. Great targets make QBs look better. There’s an OBVIOUS corollary there that is flatly rejected around these parts, but say the emperor has no clothes in Cincy. That’s crazy to me.
  8. Not sure what the downside is. We reformed Richie Incognito for a few years.
  9. I legitimately do not hate the idea of having him run a go route here or there, but that’s probably the cope talking
  10. Beano paid like $2M GTD for Lael Collins (who was a PS squad guy the year prior) to come to camp lol. He steps over dollars to pick up pennies, but his pockets have holes in them.
  11. I am only liking this post so that I can hopefully be clowned when I’m proven wrong lol
  12. I’m not sure how wild it would be. Felt like this was his last chance
  13. I would not add more Josh designed runs until January. I would like to get Cook the ball in the flat more. I would like to see him in the backfield and motioned out wide too. imo, that’s the secret to get the spy off Josh that has clipped his wings in the scrambling game. Cook with a single guy to beat in the flat or on a wheel route is an easy win for the Bills over the long haul imo.
  14. There’s a harder ceiling on great defensive plays when the athleticism wanes a bit. Cole nearly had a pick six on Worthy because he was flying in there like a missile. He has not been perfect this year, but if he does recognize a play to be made, he has the wheels to get there. Hyde’s iconic pick against Mac Jones is a TD if he is half a step slower. That’s just how thin the margins can get in coverage. @Simon had the great point that this staff needs to be comfortable taking some lumps with the yoots now so they can progress through the year.
  15. Yeah it’s how much they need the “perfect” to be great. A missed block for a 2 yard loss on first down? We are less than great. A procedural penalty for a 2nd and 15? We are less than great. 3rd and 10 in an obvious passing situation? We are less than great. We are stylistically so different from the Niners with Jimmy G, but that’s what this offense reminds me of. When we are rolling and running the ball well and staying on schedule, we are a wagon offensively. If you can bottle us up a bit and get us behind the sticks, it pays off for the defense.
  16. 115 rating when targeted is nasty work.
  17. So this is something I picked up on the broadcast. the first few series, Joey Bosa was annihilating the Chiefs RT. Later, to my eye, Joey was exclusively rushing on the opposite side. Which, I think, he has predominantly been rushing this year. My question is, what is the rhyme or reason for which side our ends line up? Does Groot prefer the left side? Do the coaches prefer AJE on the right? after what Bosa was doing to Taylor, I would have maybe considered leaving him on that side but I’m sure that’s not the whole story.
  18. You have never heard that.
  19. Are you under the impression that the Colts Steelers game was some kind of shootout? Josh was basically perfect last night, and yet, when we get stuffed or a penalty on first down and get into 2nd and 10 or 3rd and long, our offense is basically dead in the water. And that comes from not having a threat on the boundary.
  20. His cap hit for a team trading for him in 2025 would be like $8-9M.
  21. Remember when the NFL tried to make landing on QBs with your body weight a personal foul after Rodgers broke his collar bone for a few seasons and then just kinda forgot they did that and stopped calling it?
  22. Pacheco not being a game-changer but Rapp and Daquon being game-changers is certainly a take. they have missed plenty of players over the years. They aren’t talked about as much because they win.
  23. Listen, I get annoyed too, but recognize you are naming 5 games over the course of like 5 seasons.
  24. I think he didn’t want to spend the game in the locker room when he knows that an extra hr of rest ain’t gonna make a difference.
  25. Can’t wait to challenge some holding calls next wtf
