  1. We should’ve called you in 2022.
  2. No joke, this was my answer. Last year SUCKED for that.
  3. Seeing the TSW Mock Draft where we inexplicably tried to take 3 DTs with our first 3 picks (shout out @Virgil) has gotten me to ask this question. Now I'm not talking about silly things, like kicker in the first or anything truly insane that would never happen. But realistic scenarios that would get you to throw up your hands on draft night. Maybe it's trading back with a team (KC) and they take the player you covet? Or maybe it's taking one player over another (Nolen over Harmon)? Or maybe it's drafting a guy you hate? Go on record now, winner of the draft doomsday scenario wins absolutely nothing except for a continued everloving devotion to the Buffalo Bills.
  4. He continues to be terrible and washed.
  5. Somewhere in Pats lands, there just HAS to be a topic titled ”Our WR room has quietly gotten better.”
  6. I’m not sure if immaturity is the right word, but I do have questions about Shedeur’s ability to handle being “the guy.” Part of the perks of playing for your daddy is that the crosshairs were firmly pointed at Deion in times of trouble. And there’s nothing wrong with that, but it does make me wonder how he will react. Shedeur vs the NYC media without Deion as a shield is probably not an ideal matchup.
  7. Poor @Bill from NYC
  8. Kind of a confusing take. McCaffrey’s value in the pass game was a large reason he got big money when he was young. So why would you ignore such a discrepancy when arguing Cook deserves similar money? Obviously I wouldn’t pay McCaffrey $18M NOW. He’s old and been hurt and running backs usually don’t get out of that as they get older. I’m not even sure he’s the same player anymore. None of that is a reason to pay Cook. I think Cook is a good player. I think he’s probably the best skill position player on offense relative to his position tbh (non-QB obviously). But the thing about “I don’t like paying running backs” is as a rule, it only works if it is a rule. When we are too “cap strapped” to afford paying a DK Metcalf type player, the answer is not to pay the worst position to pay market value. you bring up McCaffrey, who we all agree now was far more productive than Cook. The Panthers drafted him top 10 and paid him high-end RB money and basically wasted what was left of Cam Newton’s career. And he’s supposed to be the “exception” to the don’t pay RBs rule. I just think it’s bad business. There are better ways to use the money. Now, the corrollary to that is that if the Bills use Cook’s money to sign another 4 backup DL guys to get popped for PEDs, I’ll argue they should have kept Cook lol.
  9. A lot of QB's numbers go down in the postseason. Not a lot of QBs throw more INT's than TD's on one of the greatest rosters in NFL history. Like I said, the 3 HoF QB's to have more postseason INT's than TD's since 1980 is Bob Griese, Dan Fouts and our very own Jimbo. He's a great QB. Historic. Hall of Fame worthy. But his playoff disappearing act was quite bad.
  10. I compared the first 3 seasons for you. Either you were unaware that McCaffrey caught 300 balls for an additional 2500 yards and 15 TD in those first 3 seasons or you ignored it. Regardless, the difference between those two players production their first 3 is EXACTLY what I posted before.
  11. Kelly played less playoff games than Marino lol. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KellJi00.htm#1988-1996-sum:passing_post https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MariDa00.htm#1983-1999-sum:passing_post You can hang your hat on 3% completion percentage difference, I'll hang my hat on 11 more TD's and 4 less INT's. 5.1 INT% is nasty work.
  12. I am kinda like "yeah makes sense," for all parties tbh. I get Carr wants to be the guy. I get the GM want him to be the bridge. The "floating my own injury to the media" part is wild though lol. Not sure I've ever heard of that as a play to keep a job. I think the thing about guys like Carr is where are you gonna go and get a serious role at this point? Kirk is probably going to Cleveland, Minny is rolling with JJ. All the other jobs are taken. Wouldn't be surprised if this ends up like Ryan Tannehill. He didn't want the bridge/backup role and just ended up never coming back. Maybe he's content with that, but I'd take $5M to watch film and work out,
  13. Kelly has more INT's than TD's in the playoffs. When discussing HoF QBs that went from regular season stud to postseason dud, Jimbo is right up there.
  14. Back on topic, this story has gotten weird. Per Dianna Russini "From what I can gather, it appears the information got out from the Carr side of it, it was put out by them. Because I can tell you, I had some conversations with people in New Orleans who were aware of it but they weren't looking to put it on blast. There could be a world where the Saints put it out, too, but I really believe that this is coming from Derek Carr. Because I think he is the one who isn't thrilled with the Saints at this point, right? Maybe this is Derek Carr looking at the situation going, 'I don't want the Kirk Cousins treatment, I don't want to be your quarterback, you guys draft a young guy, coming in here, and it's basically, when is he going to play?' Which makes a quarterback room tense." Sounds like Carr is trying to force the Saints to roll with him and make sure if some other team wants a QB, they beat the Saints to the punch. Bizarre.
  15. Oh no! Not again! Yeah it just means they are both cooked haha. Gotta think Grier knows it too. He's been more candid with the media than ever, which is usually a dead-man walking symptom.
  16. I'm not sure what saves them which is literally the worst position to be in. Mara picked the middle road of not empowering them and also not firing them.
  17. What https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McCaCh01.htm#2017-2019-sum:rushing_and_receiving https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CookJa01.htm#2022-2024-sum:rushing_and_receiving The numbers are all right there lol.
  18. Oh man, I totally get it now seeing it from this perspective. They wanted the polar opposite of Flores to build Tua back up. I get what they were going for but it’s probably over now. Every coach gets tuned out after a few bad years.
  19. Um. Cook has 3500 yards and 27 TDs in his first 3 years. In McCaffrey’s first 3 years, he had 5400 yards and 39 TDs. So besides the difference in 1900 yards and 12 TD’s, no
  20. I mean, our second best RB on the roster was a bargain bin JAG we found on the scrap heap.
  21. Exactly, the best pass rusher on the Bills lol.
  22. The Bills just spent another pick on an RB last year and re-signed Ty Johnson. whether Cook is here or not, do we really need to draft ANOTHER running back? Am I back in 2010?
  23. https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=serendipitous
  24. Don’t disagree that they won’t touch him due to the physical attributes. By the same token, if he had 34 inch arms, he probably wouldn’t be around past the top 15. Melvin Ingram had short arms. He was more OLB in a 3-4 though. I’d bet on Sawyer but I could sorta see him being an AJE clean up sack guy too.
  25. We all know that draft picks have far reaching complications, either good or ill depending on who is involved. Some stories you hear about, like the Bills loving Mark Barron and failing to get up to him, instead took Gilmore. Another non-Bills related, is that when the Broncos jumped the Chiefs to take Paxton Lynch (who the Chiefs were targeting), they traded back to draft Chris Jones. And of course, the ultimate Bills connection from that trade is that Elway was scared off from taking Allen in 2018 because of Lynch being a bust, and allowing us to get him at 7. so what do we got?
