  1. Skat rules. Chill out
  2. This chiefs team SUCKS. this is Browns level play rn
  3. I read what you said. its “history” because its not our guy, imo. if it was our guy, it’d be proof positive he’s great, imo. imo, that’s not an honest take.
  4. I think he’s playing worse than ever personally. I think the past two years of shoddy tackle play and limited WR options are getting to him.
  5. I don’t think this is an honest take. If folks were clamoring for McD’s head this year and he had already won a Super Bowl in 2020, I think that’d be your first piece of evidence to support him, and rightfully so.
  6. I’m not sure these chiefs are capable of blowing anyone out right now.
  7. If McDermott had won a Super Bowl 5 years ago, you don’t think it would serve his credibility? It would just be “history?” That’s crazy to me.
  8. I’d love to see a citation for this stat because I doubt it. Especially when at the time of making this post, 90% of the league hadn’t played a third game like the Bills had
  9. Who said anything about the Bills? And players can certainly be disgruntled in one situation and then play very well elsewhere. See, basically every star WR traded ever.
  10. I really wonder if DJ Moore is gonna be available shortly. He's barely involved in Ben Johnson’s offense, and Ben has made remarks about certain guys not working hard enough to deserve targets.
  11. Seattle is an NFL team. Not a particularly good one. The Saints are not.
  12. They snuck in at 12 wins with tie breakers though. Can’t imagine the Colts getting to 12 wins with wins over the other two top teams in the AFC.
  13. This was 100% a catch, and I’m glad the Bucs won to make it irrelevant. Bowles did everything he could and I didn’t want them to get burned. also, Egbuka looks like the next big WR. He’s a star in the making.
  14. It’s not clever at all because it’s clearly just a ChatGPT prompt. That format is classic AI
  15. You want a guy who will do anything to get on the field.
  16. I disagree hard with your first paragraph. i think there’s a little Stockholm syndrome in Buffalo about the second round. teams absolutely do rely on their second round picks every year to contribute. we seem to treat the pick like a red shirt year for the most part.
  17. ? I think the issue was that everyone was blasting it out of bounds and taking the touchback. Moving up the touch back made it so that teams would be incentivized to keep the ball in play.
  18. Was the logic to make it safer or to save the play?
  19. I think you are. I think the odds the return team screws something up or takes a penalty or fumbles is a lot better than giving them the ball at the 35 guaranteed. Sure, there's a risk they take it to the 40, but who cares? That's an extra 5 yards and great position either way. A muffed catch or a penalty or a great tackle pins them anywhere from the 15 and under. That's a 20+ yard difference in field position. That's the difference between starting your next drive on the 50 or the 25.
  20. Its early and he's playing the same position as Oliver which after week 1 were big shoes to fill. Its not ideal that Oliver is out right now, but the silver lining is that the kid gets some more reps. I'm hoping he flashes a bit more going forward. To my eye, I didn't see really bad play out of him, just nothing truly impactful. DQ Jones is actually disintegrating before our eyes. Tua looked like he was running Tyreek Hill speed away from him a few times last night. The sooner the two kids take his snaps away, the better imo. TJ is not yet on my list of concerns.
  21. The Dolphins run blitzed us all half and dared us to beat them over the top.
  22. I mean this is all correct, but that's not really fair play. If you wanna say "Well Rousseau's cap hit is low the first two years, then we pay for it later" that's fine, but the fact of the matter is that we should be comparing apples to apples. Micah Parsons' cap hit this year is $9M. His hit next year is $19M. Is Rousseau's contract still considered "cheap" when he costs only $12M less against the cap over the next two seasons?
  23. Well I guess that's a larger discussion about the way he's being used and if that was their vision when they gave him $80M. Can't say I'd be shelling out that kind of cash for setting the edge on a defensive system designed in part to allow some rushing success.
