  1. Listen I’m as pessimistic on this regime as anyone. i enjoyed the heck out of watching James Cook run all over the Panthers. You can do both.
  2. They lost their best WR and second best WR for the basically the entire year last year. For context, that would be like the Bills losing Shakir and Palmer for like 80% of the season.
  3. Nah they huddled. its just crazy to watch. Every single routine play against them needs deliberation.
  4. Can we just get a call immediately on the chiefs for once holy *****
  5. What does “getting the passing game going” mean to you?
  6. I mean it’s one clip out of context but I don’t love it. if he isn’t a culture fit and isn’t a talent fit, he’s a disaster pick when we needed to hit a WR lol.
  7. In the NFL, if you aren’t getting better, you are getting worse. And we got worse on offense, in large part because we refused to try to get better.
  8. Our lead for what? The one seed? I mean it would be nice. But the 1 seed Bills hosting the 3 seed Chiefs in the AFCCG in Buffalo isn’t giving me or anyone a ton of confidence I don’t think tbh.
  9. There was never a reason to be super optimistic imo. we watched basically the same team fall short last year with Josh playing at an MVP level and just hoped he would maintain that for another 19 games and that the Chiefs would fall apart.
  10. The Bills FO didn’t make the Diggs trade happen. Diggs did. I think it’s frankly obvious the Bills didn’t want to move Diggs and eat a massive cap hit. Jeudy would need to make things untenable in the locker room. Which basically would be the same reason any player would get moved. If Jefferson demands a trade and says he won’t suit up for the Vikings, that would be great too but unlikely.
  11. Feel like we saw that with our two losses already this year, right
  12. Josh isn’t perfect. i do think Josh is playing under duress with a receiving group that can’t get open consistently enough to make it easier for him. More support for the superstar QB to make superstar plays just makes sense. The greatest QBs of all time fluctuate in performance in relation to their supporting cast.
  13. I don’t agree that James Cook is the best player on offense but I do think that his delta from his performance and a league average performance is maybe 2-3 wins at this point. And there’s no one else sans Josh that is even close to that. He is as single-handedly winning games as any running back can be. He is the only other dude with juice on the team.
  14. It hearkens to our usage of Bryce Brown back in the to justify the day 2 pick we sent for him. We paid Ty Johnson, a historically league minimum guy. We drafted Ray Davis in the 4th. We gotta use them too type beat.
  15. I think he’s slower personally. It was also the most improbably Super Bowl upset in history. When you have a superstar at QB, you aren’t supposed to need to be the 2007 Giants to win a ring.
  16. I’m not sure Josh Allen is the kind of guy to have two levels of intensity. I think when Brady calls a QB sweep in the regular season and in the postseason, he runs just as hard. i just think he’s lost that little bit of extra juice.
  17. Id argue Josh is past his prime as a physical runner. He doesn’t look nearly as fast or hard to bring down scrambling this year imo.
  18. he was getting cooked by something called a Jake Coker today.
  19. Thats a crazy take lol. i get he went to OSU but the disinterested guy who is maxing out at 800ish yards a season is gonna have a better career than the disinterested guy who had nearly 1300 yards as a rookie? I don’t know where you think he’s gonna be a 1k receiver this year. Hes averaging 4 more yards a game than last year. He has a brutal drop%. He’s just a massive disappointment. I wouldn’t give a first for him under any circumstances tbh. BTJ almost hit 1300 yards with Mac Jones throwing him the ball. Some receivers make it work with bad QB play. They are called “great receivers” for a reason.
  20. I’m meh on that. You have to look at it from Arizona’s side. MHJ is like their most hyped draft pick since Kyler and their HC has been there for 3 years. They aren’t getting rubber stamped by ownership on a midseason tear down unless it’s a MASSIVE overpay. Kyler is probably playing elsewhere next year but I’m not sure the GM and HC are sticking around for round 2. They will probably try to hang on to MHJ to see if they can get him going with the next round. Furthermore, I don’t know why anyone would want MHJ over BTJ. One is the biggest draft disappointment since Trevor Lawrence and the other was top 3 in receiving as a rookie. It’s not close in value.
  21. Josh wanted Dorsey and we canned his ass
