  1. To be fair, we don't know if the Ravens WERE lowballing him before. They could have been.
  2. >I don't disagree that he's taking what I would consider to be too big of a risk, Which is what the majority of the people are saying. Don't be dumb, take the money. > it's paid off so far in that he didn't sustain an injury that will prevent him from playing in future seasons. As of this minute, he has lost nothing in terms of realized income, though. Well, no. It MAY pay off. Josh Allen got $46M in cash in 2022. Lamar got $23M in cash in 2022. Josh gets another $28M this year, Lamar gets $32M. Josh has made more money than Lamar because he signed a deal and Lamar didn't. >As for endorsements, this doesn't impact anything. What it does is paint a picture of a dude who isn't doing what I consider to be the optimal path for financial well-being. Rather than quibbling over not having an agent or a couple extra million guaranteed, he should have been doing national Dr. Scholl's commercials and making up the difference. Like I said, all of his contemporaries are doing stuff. LJ does none of it. He's a young star, a great player, with accolades. Someone will pay him to hold a Dr. Pepper lol. >(not to mention the absurd claims that his salary 2 years ago was somehow impacted by not signing an offer that didn't get made until September of 2022). This is not how NFL extensions work, I believe. My understanding is that signing an off-season extension for a player with their fifth year option replaces their fifth year option, not get tacked on. So yes, the reason Josh made 46 in 2022 and Lamar made 23 is because he didn't sign that extension. Edit: the last point is wrong. The extension kicked in after his option year. Still, it would have behooved him to get a deal done sooner and again not be in the situation he is in.
  3. This whole saga is really silly. Lamar SHOULD be concerned about getting injured and taking a little less money on the year to year. But that’s not what he’s demanding lol. ”The entire reason long term deals exist is so players accept less total money for money guaranteed.” Does Lamar know that? He wants fully guaranteed AND a long term deal. You don’t even agree with him lmao. And more importantly, Lamar has absolutely suffered financially from an advertising/media presence. His contemporaries are on commercials everyday. This guy, when healthy, is electric to watch and was the MVP. Does he even do ads?
  4. Not against Kelce, but BB used to put Talib on great TE’s and it worked pretty well. The biggest problem I think is the combination of Mahomes’ mobility and Kelce’s wiggle to get open. It’s synergistic.
  5. The cause of "it's so unfair Lamar doesn't get whatever he wants because he was the MVP 4 seasons ago."
  6. No. They just want to show they are down for the cause.
  7. Okay. So first you're complaining that Daniel Jones has a deal and Lamar doesn't (Lamar would be signed to way more money than DJ tomorrow if he would agree with it). Try everything possible like test the market and see that nobody is paying what you're demanding? Maybe. If Drew was his agent tomorrow, do you think he would be telling Lamar to take the $280M 5 year deal? Of course he would. Agents don't get paid if you are sitting out.
  8. The only person stopping Lamar from getting paid is Lamar. The only people that don’t realize that are Lamar and you, apparently.
  9. Wasn’t he the last pick of the first?
  10. Even more startling, Bills specifically: The only Bills players that Josh had a worse passer rating than Gabe when targeting were Moss, Cook, Gentry (1 target), and Crowder. Josh had 6 picks targeting Gabe. 8 to the rest of the team COMBINED. Gabe had one more drop than Diggs on 60 less targets. Gabe only had a better YAC/R than McKenzie, Smoke (1 catch), Beasley.
  11. 6 of them. Tied for 2nd in league, along with guys who saw a TON of targets, way more than Davis.
  12. All that needs to be said is in the top 30 WR's last season by ADOT, Gabe is top 6 in drop% bottom 13 in passer rating
  13. I'll take instincts and a nose for the football over height and arm length all day. So let's hope Bernard has those.
  14. Bernard was drafted to eventually start when Edmunds walked. They knew Edmunds was walking, because they let him play on his fifth year without a deal.
  15. I do it for a love of the game.
  16. The gameplan was target Davis 10 times and him only catch 3 balls for 39 yards.
  17. Big time “Let’s see how Mahomes does without Hill” energy
  18. We lost the Vikings game. You’re thinking of the Lions game.
  19. Didn’t we see Allen literally do this last season? Vikings game, OT. Josh let them back in with the fumble and he opened up the drive with two (great runs) but had that total feel of “I’m fired up and I’m gonna win this whole thing.” Then, of course, threw the bad pick to lose it.
  20. Lmao people in that Tyrod debate used to say he doesn’t need to throw over the middle more because he’s already really good and our franchise QB. Were you one of those people? You draft a WR in the first because Diggs is no spring chicken and this is likely Davis’ last year in a Bills uni.
  21. Teams always love to trade away #1 picks for more picks in a weak draft.
  22. You got dunked on accusing him of making it up. It's a long offseason, just don't make it a trend lmao.
  23. Rare Einstein W. Common @NewEra L
  24. Ready for the lava take? McD is in trouble. How many defensive HC’s “take over playcalling” when things aren’t going great and they are trying to save their jobs?
  25. I know. He was was wrong. I answered his question.
