I mean, the Chiefs got lucky they drafted the current best QB in the game and paired them with a HoF coach. The Pats got lucky they drafted the previous best QB in the game and paired them with a HoF coach. How is that not luck lmao? Drafting HoF players in the second and third and fifth rounds is luck.

What I’m saying is that it’s really freaking hard to win a Super Bowl. There’s no clear cut path to do so. The greatest dynasty in the football couldn’t get it done over a 10 year span. The Falcons were on the cusp of winning in the SB, and they never made it back. We will be right there in January like we were last year and the year before and the year before.

Backup QB may be the least important position on this roster. I would rather pay a gunner than a backup QB and I hate gunners.

What I don’t think makes sense is to judge him against the production that an 8 year vet WR put up. Isaiah McKenzie was used in the Beasley role last year. He only saw 65 targets, despite Crowder going down for the year, and our other rookie slot WR barely playing. It took Cole Beasley himself 4 years in the league to see greater than 60 targets.

Relevant in that historically, first round rookie TE's have not set the world on fire? Now, some people argue that Kincaid is a better prospect that everyone else on that list and that's why he'll be different. That's cool too!

Okay. I would wager the rookie has the least amount of yards behind Diggs/Davis/Knox. But maybe not! They didn't even shout me out personally! Hacks. What they also forget is that a lot of those guys were drafted as TE1. Our guy is going to be TE2 on the depth chart. Pitts had 110 targets as a rookie. Kincaid ain't breaking 60.

Definitely a lot of those offenses sucked! From a YPT perspective: Ebron 5.3 Pitts 9.3 OJ 11.1 Hurst 7.1 Njoku 6.4 Engam 6.3 Eifert 7.4 Hock 6.2 Fant 8.5 Kind of an interesting discrepancy. Fant with the third highest YPT on the worst passing offense. OJ with an absolutely electric YPT but a bad career.
