I think Worthy ATTD is a better bet. He could catch a long bomb. But he will have a “ball in space” package in the redzone.

Imagine watching the Bills miss the playoffs for 17 years because they had no QB, then paying Tyrod Taylor $20M a year because he had a single moderately successful year under center and your takeaway is “why is Daniel Jones commanding so much money?”

I like Caleb a lot. not sure Eberflus is the guy for that team, at all. Shocked at how high folks are on a team with a coach that has been basically been horrible there for years.

As much as I like Kincaid and have high hopes for him, I think the Bills 2023 and 2024 season looks far different with Jordan Addison in a Bills uni.

They can control the outcome partially. But when the offense is sitting or the defense is sitting and its a nailbiter against a hated rival who keeps blocking your SB aspirations, its gotta really suck. It's actually very impressive that Josh rises to the moment in those games. Him having a psychotic 4 pick meltdown would honestly not be surprising as a psychological outcome, but instead he puts the entire team on his back and plays nearly perfect most of the time. Its the IT factor personified.

That's very odd circumstance. You'd think the guy in charge would have the superior title. IMO, Sean Payton's offensive genius rep is on the line the next season or two. If he flames out in Denver, I think it keeps him out of the HoF.

I don’t feel anxious about Bills games until we see the Chiefs in the postseason. I can only imagine how the guys on the team feel lol.

I think they will all be different in terms of success. i think McConkey will be the most productive to start. I think he was very pro-ready, but 2-3 years down the road he will get surpassed by some others. Pearsall is probably not gonna see the field much with Jennings, Deebo and Aiyuk above him on the depth chart. But he will get his chance next season in a post Deebo world and will be an NFL starter that doesn’t play in SF after his rookie year. Coleman’s ceiling imo is high end WR2. I think he will be Mike Williams 2.0, an 800-1000 yard guy with volume targets. Worthy and Legette to me will have the highest individual seasons in regards to yards, but Worthy is slight and may suffer from Goodwin syndrome, and Legette is already like 30 so his peak will only last a handful of years. Idk enough about Polk to comment.

Diggs was going on 30 my man. His days were numbered as a great NFL player. Nagging injury that ruins a career or just falling off talent-wise has happened to far better receivers than Diggs around that age. Not only that, he has he come out and said he wanted out prior to the 2023 season. I find it hard to believe Beane had no idea prior to the 2024 offseason. Regardless, the chickens came home to roost. Here is a comment from the 2022 off-season. ”People can disagree but I think this deal ends with 2-3 years left and a lot of dead money” - @BADOLBILZ Diggs was a mercurial player with a history of forcing himself off teams. Was it unreasonable for Beane to expect him to play good solider after getting paid? IMO, no. Is it unreasonable to expect Beane to have a better plan than Mack Hollins if he demanded a trade/fell off/got hurt? IMO, no, as well. I don’t want to harp on the WR topic but it’s near and dear to my heart because I have been banging on the table for the Bills to dedicate serious assets to the position for almost 4 years. So it’s really frustrating to watch at this point.

Your thoughts are very welcome. I only take issue with the “no one could have seen this coming.” It’s just fundamentally untrue and the proof is written all over TBD. That doesn’t mean that Brandon Beane sucks, but he screwed this up and other folks are on record that he was screwing this up. Hopefully Brady is a genius and can make this group greater than the sum of its parts. We shall see on Sunday!
