  1. How are Shakir and Samuel getting 90 targets each? Is Shakir starting on the boundary? Is Dawson Knox not playing? The analogy doesn’t work because when we rotate DT’s or CB’s it’s between 2-3 guys. Not 4-5.
  2. Because someone else is getting taken off the field. Shakir had 5 targets through week 6 last year. Week 7 was Knox’s last game before going on IR. Shakir had 2+ targets every game until Knox came back week 14. The math doesn’t work. The Bills are not gonna successfully rotate in players and target them exclusively when they are on the field. You are basically saying sub in Coleman on this drive and throw him the ball 4 times then take him off and put in MVS and target him 3 times. That won’t happen unless someone gets hurt. Diggs got a ton of targets and force fed at points. But he also got a ton of targets by virtue of almost always being on the field in passing situations. You can’t do that for WR4-6.
  3. You may know more about Josh Allen than a random NFL exec, but do you know more about the NFL QB’s at large? Probably not. I don’t care about the rankings really because they are meaningless. But if you are gonna have any objective opinion on QB rankings across the league, watching every throw of Josh Allen, then watching highlights or redzone of the rest of the NFL is going to completely ruin that. It’s fine to have Bills blinders on to consume your entertainment. But you gotta recognize that. Daboll pulling up PFR rankings on his phone was legendary television for me.
  4. I never really liked him after the whole Rihanna thing.
  5. I love this thread. I voted yes. But imo, you can tell the story of the NFL without Fitz. If he had a single playoff run, I think he actually gets in. His crowning achievement is missing the playoffs with the Jets. That’s tough.
  6. Correct take. I actually didn’t like Coleman predraft. But I’m no scout. If they walked away with Coleman and Franklin or Corley or whatever, I would say hey, at least they recognize the problem. To come out of the deepest WR draft in years with WR as our biggest need is a failure. And them not recognizing that is an even bigger problem.
  7. If Beane wasn’t that worried about the grade difference of Coleman and say McConkey or Legette, that kinda works against “Coleman was their guy,” to me.
  8. That’s all fine and a logical possibility. But then the “Coleman was our guy all along” propaganda is just that. My posts have exactly 0.0% to do with if the Bills succeed or fail. I enjoy discussing them at an intellectual level when it comes to teambullding and overarching strategy because it’s the most fun part of the off-season and you can learn a lot from other posters and exchange/debate ideas. I’ll be cheering for Coleman to be the best WR in NFL history every Sunday. But if that’s what you’re looking for from here, it’s not gonna happen. It’s no fun to say “Aw shucks I hope he’s great, Beane knows best.” Talk about absolutely ***** boring.
  9. I don’t need to think that. I just know I’m smarter than you lol
  10. It’s crazy that Hard Knocks had so much footage of them loving Malik Nabers predraft that they released long after they drafted him. Talk about a lucky coincidence! “Hey you guys aren’t gonna take Coleman if we trade back, right? I’ll take you at your word if you all say you won’t touch him” - Beane to all 31 other GMs, mid phone call with the Chiefs to trade back, in the mind of @oldmanfan
  11. Oh you have proof of this? Oh wait, no of course not, you’re just another rando on the internet. “Get over yourself” indeed lmao.
  12. The reality is he had the 28 pick, then traded back to the 32nd pick, then traded to the 33rd pick, to draft his “priority” weapon. It doesn’t sound as convincing as the “he used his first pick on him!” take.
  13. He knows a lot more than me. He couldn’t know if anyone else would’ve taken Coleman. It’s impossible. I’m sorry this hurts your feelings. There’s a reason no one can predict the draft with 100% accuracy. It’s impossible.
  14. No one could “know” that. It’s impossible. He may have strongly suspected that. He may have said “there’s only a small chance we miss our guy, let’s do the trade back.” But that still means he was willing to risk losing Coleman to make that trade. Even if he thought it was a small risk. It’s quite the opposite of “prioritizing.”
  15. They didn’t use their first pick in the draft on a weapon. They used it to trade back and pickup a third. Beane prioritized THAT over GETTING Coleman. To say that’s basically the same thing as trading up for Kincaid or trading for Diggs is preposterous.
  16. Come on man. Trading back into the second to get the #8 WR in the draft is basically the same as taking a guy in the top 10 lol
  17. Will Troy Franklin or MVS/Claypool/Hamler/Hollins have more yards in 2024?
  18. You have evidence that the dad bought him a gun?
  19. @Alphadawg7 is one of the best posters at blaming everything else under the sun for being wrong. “I wasn’t wrong, I read wrong info” “I wasn’t wrong, I quickly Googled that and posted it without checking” ”the website’s AI was wrong, not me.” the man is ELITE. Be thankful you get to witness this run @BADOLBILZ
  20. This is very funny. So much reductive logic. They won the Super Bowl, so it was a good idea. Oookay.
  21. Rice would be #1 WR on this team in target share. I think you could argue that Brown would be too. And Kelce > Kincaid unless he gets old and falls off. So besides their top 3 weapons being better than our top 3 weapons, I don’t know what is so great about them.
  22. They were 15th in points with the best QB in football. Said QB had the worst YPG, TD% and INT% of his career. No one though the KC offense was really good this year. If you have a post saying, “wow this Chiefs’ offense looks Super Bowl caliber,” in October/November/December, go ahead and show it. I call BS. Also they traded Tyreek? They didn’t cut him… Yes, you can be really bad at WR and have a disappointing offense that is borderline unacceptable with a superstar QB and still win a Super Bowl. That doesn’t make me happy that the WR group sucks. You can also have your MVP QB get hurt in the middle of the season and win with the backup. The Eagles proved that as well. That wouldn’t make me happy if Josh got hurt.
