  1. This is the opposite of what happened. They restructured Josh to free up space this year, kicking the can down the road. His cap hit jumps in 2025 from $30M to $43M. In 2026, it goes to $63M.
  2. ???? How are Samuel and Shakir the same player? Samuel is the Isaiah McKenzie to Shakir's Cole Beasley.
  3. We started Trent Sherfield on the boundary of a playoff game vs the defending SB champs. And I guess nothing was taken away from that experience. I find myself pining for the days where we kept Marcus Easley 6th WR for ST and 1-5 were kept for their ability to play WR.
  4. The problem with running a no-margin for error offense with only 2 WR's worth a damn is that injuries can strike. Our WR group for Sunday is Coleman, Samuel, MVS and Mack Hollins. Disaster class.
  5. His cap hit is higher next year.
  6. Yeah, the names are kind of annoying. I actually think we miss so much on broadcast by not seeing the safeties though. Worth the tradeoff.
  7. when it says watch, just below are 3 options, main broadcast, espanol and Prime VIsion.
  8. PrimeView is my favorite way to watch currently. Basically All-22 viewing. Great to backseat QB and watch Kirk throw to someone double-covered when someone else is wide-open down the seam.
  9. Let's trade Curtis Samuel for Gabe Davis and ask Goodell for a do-over.
  10. I can think of a couple recent ones Kadarius Toney - traded to the Chiefs, caught TD pass in the SB and had 65 yard punt return in that same SB. Won the SB. Von Miller - traded to the Rams, 5 sacks in the last 8 games of the regular season, and 4 sacks in 4 playoffs games, including 2 in the SB. Won the SB.
  11. A decision to trade Allen will require Pegula approval imo.
  12. They won't.
  13. They can franchise tag him. The point was that if Josh decides the entire FO/HC crew isn't good enough to achieve his goals, the Bills would 100% fire Beane and McD to keep Josh happy.
  14. There is no chance the Jets trade him unless he's included in an Adams package. Trading for Davante then trading away Wilson would be so dumb.
  15. I have been banging the drum on improving the WR room for years now. I have thought about Adams more, and I think I like the other options that are likely available a little bit better. My reasoning is that Adams will likely be the most expensive, as he's the best. That wouldn't matter in a general trade because you are paying for the talent. However, there is the question of "can we take full advantage of Adams midway through the season, learning the playbook, building chemistry with Josh etc?" We aren't going to trade for Adams midseason and have him producing at a 1300 yard season pace on day 1. Will he work his way up to be at his peak with Josh by the postseason? Maybe. OBJ is the last big midseason receiver move I can think of. He put up 38 YPG in the regular season and then went off in the playoffs. Is a second round pick worth that? I guess if we win a SB it is. Could Amari Cooper have that same impact for a 3rd or 4th? I think so.
  16. Personally, I don't think its congruous to not be worried about if our WRs are up to snuff because of the first 3 games, but also worried about our safeties despite the first 3 games.
  17. Traded up for Kincaid and Elam as well.
  18. Would be very Buffalo Bills to trade for Buddha Baker to save the S room instead of WR.
  19. We better hope Coleman isn't great. Because if he's great, he's not gonna win a Super Bowl.
  20. AJE is not good. OCT had a good rookie year but has regressed badly and is likely the worst starter on the line. Bishop has barely played. Coleman was not our second, but a trade back of our first. James Cook is a running back. Adams went to the Raiders to play with his friend and get paid. They traded his friend and are worse now than they were 3 years ago with no chance of competing. I know draft picks make everyone crazy. "A second round pick for Davante Adams! Davante Adams is a HoF WR, but a second round pick could be anything! It could even be a HoF WR!"
  21. If Josh gives up on McD and Co, they will be fired lol. There is nobody with more power when push comes to shove in that org. This isn't Brady vs BB. If Josh threatens to walk, ownership will move heaven and earth to keep him. Like I said, don't worry.
  22. 4 seasons is wishful thinking. Young and talented player is also wishful thinking. Yes, that 2nd might be a great young player. He also might be Boogie Basham or Cody Ford. It's a no-brainer for a 2, imo.
  23. Has to mean that they are hearing Bills interest is legit, imo.
  24. Huh? No fans and limited media presence would be MORE reason for Herbert to leave. Also, this is the first I've seen that it spun as a positive that Herbert has played for 3 HC's already in his 5 year career. Usually, that's an indication that the org is a mess. Burrow made one SB with a good defensive performance 3 years ago so he is a Bengal for life is the argument? When they can't figure out the OL and he has been hurt every other year since? Okay. Josh is getting national Gatorade commercials in Buffalo. He is widely considered a superstar in the league, he is covering all the promos and video games and everything else. I would like the Bills to do a better job to support Allen as well, but please don't let this inferiority complex get you down. He is not going anywhere.
  25. Even if we got Odunze or BTJ, WR would still be one of the biggest needs on the roster. I'm not sure Beane sees it that way but I don't know.
