  1. Come on Beane. Get us to the promised land.
  2. Live look at negotiations between Bills & Arizona.
  3. Honestly, Oliver is fine, but you can get very similar production for much cheaper. I'd just take whatever you can get. If that's the holdup, it's Beane overvaluing his high draft pick. It didn't work out, he's not the game wrecker we wanted him to be, and that's okay. Just move on.
  4. That's fair. I do think McGovern is an upgrade from Saffold, but you're right in that I'd like to see them do more (cough cough Spencer Brown).
  5. Please correct me if I'm wrong but there's no O-Lineman of Hopkins' status available for a trade, much less a presumable cheap-ish trade. Just because you have deficiencies in one position group doesn't mean you shouldn't take a golden opportunity to massively increase another.
  6. Me watching Beane raise the blood pressure of all of Erie County.
  7. Yes, but the further and further you get out of round 1 the less and less certain it becomes that you can get a contributor that will make a splash now. The window is now and the division has gotten better and better.
  8. For me it'll be more about how Beane overvalues and overestimates the players he currently has in the building. If you don't shore up the WR room, the conversation to the draft basically becomes "Well we have to grab a WR round 1, right?"
  9. All he really excels at is running go routes. There's a place for that in an offense but he shouldn't be your #2 guy. (Wait, am I still talking about Agholor or did I start talking about Gabe Davis?)
  10. That'll get Jackson to sign for sure. Ravens and dumpster diving for WRs, name a more iconic duo.
  11. This really isn't an update at all. And as far as "salary dumps" go, this is a very high quality player, make it happen Beane. Wanna be the best? You need superstars, not just solid guys.
  12. Might be a 3-way-trade. Oliver to Chicago for a mid-late round pick, Buffalo uses that pick to give to Arizona for Hopkins.
  13. I understand this sentiment, but he's also built for this scheme. He excels in this system when healthy. Personally, I'd like to see him back, but obviously the cheaper the better.
  14. I'm just gonna say this: At this point, if Hopkins goes to another team for a reasonable price it's going to be a major condemnation of Beane. Say what you will about resource management, the offense needs another star caliber player, badly.
  15. I think you're all probably safe to go to bed now. If they're gonna sign him it won't be until tomorrow.
  16. Come on Beane, make everyone's day!
  17. The best defense is an unstoppable offense.
  18. I don't have any disdain, not really. Just trying to be a joker. It's true though, it might be my 2nd least favorite Beane pick his tenure. The first being Cody Ford over DK.
  19. Built for whatever and whenever... Except for reliable pass rushing. Doesn't seem particularly well built for that.
  20. The Titans are the fakest "contender" team to ever exist. If Hopkins actually wants to compete for a ring, there shouldn't be any way they are in the discussion.
  21. That would be the biggest steal since the last time Hopkins was traded.
  22. I'll take cheap OG lottery tickets all day. Maybe we get lucky and one of them will hit.
  23. I agree with everything you're saying, and I just want to add: By most reports, Hopkins isn't going to cost that much in terms of draft capital. Some are arguing because of his contract it might only be a 4th or 5th round pick and possibly a player. This isn't even mortgaging the future like the Rams have done. It's just making your team better right now.
