  1. I like Troy Aikman, but I don’t think it will matter if they keep scheduling terrible Monday night games
  2. Perhaps I’m not fully understanding this whole thing, but man this dude is a scumbag. Buys the team in St.Louis and “negotiates” in good faith for a new stadium but really had no intention of keeping them there, says he wants to move the team to LA and tells the league don’t worry I’ll take care of the costs, gets sued for moving the team so he then threatens to sue the league if all of the other owners don’t chip in and pay for this lawsuit. Pretty hard to swindle billionaires out of money but it looks like he may do just that looking at it from a Bills perspective, if the league had to cover the cost of the lawsuit, does this cut into the money they would be willing to give to the Bills for a new stadium?
  3. So because we have a coach that holds his players accountable and wants them to perform well that is going to scare players away? Did I summarize this correctly?
  4. I definitely could've been more clear in my statement - I'm more hoping that the pitchforks and inevitable fire Dorsey talk is relatively tame when a game early on doesn't go the way we all want/expect, that's all
  5. So we all have to remember though that having a new coordinator is going to take some time and there will be bumps in the road, especially early on. I completely believe that Josh will put up 40+ touchdowns again, have over 4000 yards again and do everything that he has done the last 2 years (if not more) but it's not going to be all sunshine and rainbows every game. It took Mr. Anderson a while to put everything together as well
  6. Only if it matches their board though - no reaching just because those are positions the Bills need improvement. If a WR (for example) is by far their highest rated guy, take him. If it's even and a CB/Lineman is there, take him. Don't take those positions just to take them
  7. Unfortunately I feel like I'm funding this stadium by myself at this point! With my track record of gambling over the last month I'm pretty sure they won't need any private or tax payer money!🤦‍♂️
  8. Dude what are you even talking about? You’re the one who basically came out and said that him having endorsements would be a distraction and make him not work as hard. I simply said I hate that argument that these guys shouldn’t take on endorsements because it’s a distraction. But thanks for saying I needed to validate being a fan-I’m glad that it’s now been renewed for another year
  9. Granted this opinion is coming from someone who hasn’t seen Murray play a ton (just highlights mostly) but I really don’t get the hype. For as good as he supposedly is, when you look at his stats he has an awful lot of <200 yard, 0-1 touchdown passes type games. This might be a good time for Arizona to explore what they can get for him in a trade edits they have to pay him big time money
  10. Honestly could be a very smart move financially. He will get a huge deal from one of the networks, do that for a couple of years, his name will keep coming up every year for job openings, until eventually he has his pick of whatever team he wants to coach and will get a huge deal for it. He will be sitting in a great position if he does step away
  11. This is 17 year drought mentality thinking right here-why shouldn’t he pursue endorsement deals if he wants them or if they are being offered? Shooting some commercials is not going to take his focus away or make him work less hard. He doesn’t have to be so singularly focused that he can’t explore these options. and before someone answers with Baker or Mahomes and Rodgers coming up short blah blah blah-you know who else has made commercials? Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Serena Williams, Peyton Manning, even Tom Brady! They all turned just fine Josh has the work ethic, we shouldn’t begrudge him if he chooses to get some endorsement deals
  12. Teams have shown time and time again if they want to sign a guy it can be done. Not saying they can sign a bunch of pro bowl guys, but it can be done
  13. Carolina didn’t tank for Newton-leading up to that draft Newton wasn’t even considered the top pick until shortly before the draft happened. That was also a LOADED draft, no reason to rank in that one…the colts getting Luck doesn’t exactly pass the smell test, but other than that I don’t believe you will come up with a team where the players and coaches purposefully tanked. Why would they, too much in the line for all of them to not try their hardest
  14. It’s not the league that’s selling the tickets for 30k, it’s people re-selling the tickets that are getting that. Not sure how you stop that. The teams are given a certain amount they can sell to their fans, but they can’t control what happens after they have already sold them. If I knew I could make 30 grand for selling my tickets that would be hard to pass up
  15. And while his arm looks strong, it doesn't look nearly as strong as Josh's. As has been said several times already, people just want to put out the lazy narrative and want to be able to say "hey I was right about this guy, I was the only one"
  16. Hey I love it, I hope teams keep looking for the next Josh Allen and use high picks on a guy who is a bigger guy, has accuracy issues (supposedly), played against lower competition with the HOPE that he turns out like Allen. Good luck!!!
  17. He wasn’t amazing either. He had one year where they exceeded expectations (and never made the playoffs) so I wouldn’t exactly call him an amazing coach. He had a .500 record so he has been an average coach
  18. I could see that if it’s the Bengals (although I’m sure the league would also like to put the Ravens or Steelers in that spot as well) but not if the Rams win. They don’t play in the same conference and I think they will use that game for another prime time game
  19. No, there should be no donations. Part of the reason why the donations are cool is because it happens when something significant happens that directly impacts the Bills. This had no direct effect on the Bills, so this takes away from what has been done in the past
  20. OR don’t read and comment on a thread if you’re not interested/ready 🤷‍♂️
  21. Please tell me times you have seen QB’s of losing teams go sprinting across the field to go snd find the winning QB and say what Mahomes said….definitely the early favorite for troll post of the day
  22. I find it really odd that some people only apply the salary cap rules to the Bills and never to any other team. If you are good enough there are a thousand different ways around the salary cap, teams have shown that for years. Not saying you don’t have to hit in draft picks, of course you do, but if you have a great QB you will always be in contention
  23. So the only reason I would say I’m not sure about this thinking is because at this stage all of these coaches/players executives all have egos. They are all incredibly confident in their abilities. I’m sure Dorsey feels he is more than capable of doing the job-I think he looks more at the relationship he had with Daboll. I’m sure his relationship with Daboll is much closer then his relationship with McDermott
  24. I was coming on here just to say this-why is Buffalo’s window already closed but KC’s isn’t? Look at all of the contracts they have, but that doesn’t seem to matter to some people. The Bills will be in the mix for ad long as they have Allen. They might not always be the favorite every year, but they will be in the mix
  25. I honestly don't know if he should have been playing more...I know people are going to point to the Patriots to say he definitely should have played more and the obvious answer is to get more playing time than Beasley, but I seriously don't know. I like McKenzie, but I would have to think that if he should've gotten more playing time, it definitely would've happened considering he has been here for what, 3 or 4 years?
