  1. You must be another one of these tough guys who doesn't think the Bills were tough enough, right?
  2. Yeah I don’t get all of the love for Saleh and McDaniel, not sure how flipping those coaches would have gotten the Bills a win in those games. What has Saleh shown in his 2 years that makes him as great a coach as people claim? Look at what happened to McDaniel as soon as someone figured out how to stop his offense!
  3. Haha I love all this tough guy bravado talk from so many, it’s hilarious! Especially when you throw in comments like “we need guys with attitudes like Incognito or Feliciano!” First of all, Incognito-yikes!!! Second, Feliciano sucked something fierce but he brought attitude and a mean streak, whatever that means. Reading lots of praise for Diggs (understandably) but screaming at people isn’t the only way to show passion. OBJ shows “passion” but people on here crush him and call him a diva, bad teammate, blah blah blah. Just because they are making a demonstration doesn’t mean they aren’t passionate about what they’re doing. I’ve heard for years how Quentin Nelson barely says a thing during a game and you would hardly know what’s going on if you watched his facial expressions, but you can’t tell me that guy isn’t passionate about playing football. Joe Montana, same thing i think many of you confuse skill level with being soft. The teams went through a ton this year and it does have an effect-that being said to do as well as they did, win as many close games as they did (which was the big knock on them last year) shows how mentally tough they are. If you want to talk scheme and all that I’m on board with that, but this argument that the players are soft has no merit at all
  4. Try-explain how my example is off and what you are saying is the way they should think about it. Again, it seems that your point of view would be an 8-9 team (hello Tampa) that goes 1 round further in the playoffs needs less changes than a 14-3 team?
  5. This doesn’t make sense, why aren’t you taking everything into account? What if the Bills had gone 8-9 this year, only got in because the division sucked, and somehow won games to reach the AFCC or even the Super Bowl? 8-9 would very clearly show issues, but according to what you’re saying, that shouldn’t matter
  6. Yeah I hate it when these movie companies promote their movies so people know when it’s coming out!!! Anger anger grrrr my kid does the same thing when he wants me to go to his games, always telling me when they are and stuff! was this the response you were looking for? Too much? Not enough?
  7. First of all it’s a bills site so of course people are going to defend the Bills. Second, you have some pretty terrible takes when you have negative comments towards the team and the negative reactions are justified. Criticism is fine but you have to be prepared to defend it. Can’t just say “I told you so” and think that’s a good enough argument
  8. So you’re pinning this on Allen? Guys aren’t schemes open, the defense has no teeth, the lines are terrible. Despite all that Allen still had 40+ touchdowns and is the reason they won the division again. His stats were nearly identical to last year, so how exactly did he regress? He’s the QB so he gets blame for the loss, but name a QB outside of Mahomes and maybe Burrow you would take? If he has regressed you should easily be able to name 5-6 at least (and please name Herbert so it can rip that one to shreds)
  9. I don’t know, both of these takes are pretty awful
  10. Why would the NFL change something that’s not an actual issue? I’ve never once heard a coach or GM complain about this. This is more about fans complaining about a system and process they know very little about
  11. Was it out of hand when the Bills were in the drought? It got us McDermott. It’s been happening for years, it’s no different now, but we aren’t used to seeing Bills coaches getting interviewed
  12. You’re being over dramatic. So to just have a chance, the Bills need to play another perfect game? And even then that only gives them a chance? The Bills will get stops on them I can guarantee you that. They do need to limit mistakes and turnovers-if they can do that the Bengals have very little chance of winning
  13. So for me it’s the exaggeration of Mahomes accomplishments that does it for me. He had finally started actually complimenting Josh (after Josh broke his beloved PFF system) and he does speak well of the talented quarterbacks, but his obsession with Mahomes is too much. Talking about throws only Mahomes can make (not true) or him playing with an injury-every guy plays injured. Save the hyperbole for when something spectacular actually happens, not on a 10 yard completion to Kelce on 3rd and 4. Reminds me a lot of having to listen to Dan Dierdorff talk about Tom Brady
  14. Well duh, there’s no one in the Bills stadium right now
  15. Probably not, teams that are 14-3 usually aren’t capable of doing very much 🙄
  16. Oh god can you imagine how bonkers some people will go here if the Bills give up *gasp* 3 touchdowns??? I can just hear it now “if the Bills can give up 3 touchdowns at home, the Chiefs are definitely going to score 50 on a neutral site!” Or “Zay Jones is definitely our for revenge and Lawrence is so much better than Burrow!”
  17. So it’s unlikely that the Bengals play bad 2 games in a row but if I’m understanding you correctly it Hank god they have 3 linemen out otherwise the Bills would definitely play 2 bad games in a row? I’ll tell you what I’ll still take it! The Bills “bad” game still got 34 points on offense and they gave up roughly 250 yards on defense-works for me!
  18. So I’m not denying anything that you’re saying, but I also think part of it is people ignore positives and focus on negatives. It’s why every news broadcast starts with a murder/crime/scandal-negatives bring in viewers. There’s been a ton of pro Bills anti Bengals talk this week as well, but we all get more fired up about “how dare the disrespect the Bills” so that’s what we remember. It’s why there’s so many more comments on here that involve Nick Wright than comments that mention Kyle Brandt and Michael Robinson
  19. This happens every year, we just aren’t used to it. The reason why it’s being done this weekend is because his work for the week is already done-they have installed plays, they have done the film work, all if that’s taken care of. If he’s going to interview for a job Saturday is actually a really good day for him to do it
  20. The Bills weren’t outcoached-they had turnovers and a couple of major mistakes, that’s what kept Miami in the game. If Shakir doesn’t drop that bomb right in his hands or if Knox catches that touchdown, this game is not close at all. The Bills outgained them by 200 yards! McDaniel wasn’t able to do anything, only had one significant drive in terms of yards…you’re gonna have to explain to me how they were outcoached. Would you say Denver had KC’s number because they played close games? No absolutely not
  21. I have no idea if this is sarcasm or not…the dolphins are well coached?? Really?? I kept hearing how great a coach Flores was and this year how great McDaniel is-but are they really? Once teams figured out how to play against his offense, McDaniel didn’t seem so great. Flores took a bad dolphins team and made them….slightly below average
  22. I mean John Brown IS back on the team, time for that streak to end!!!
  23. 100000% agree with this-he also started out the season on fire, on track to smash the total yards for a season record, MVP front runner….we are (myself included) a very spoiled bunch. The mistakes drive you crazy, then you watch the touchdown to Davis and you remember that very few can make that throw
  24. It’s a catch that Knox definitely should make, but I don’t think Knox should get all the blame on that. He was open and if Josh had put it just a little further out in front we aren’t discussing the drop
