  1. Sorry but this is just sounds like wishful thinking to me. If this was the case, he a) wouldn’t be low cost and b) would already be signed. My guess is he can be signed at any point, including going into the season, and if not someone just like him can/will be found.
  2. It’s hilarious actually-so many spent such a long time on here feeling the media “disrespected” the Bills with the lack of coverage and finally the Bills turn it around, get some national guys on our side and the same people are like “no, not like that.” As if being loud and obnoxious isn’t what every fan is at a home game
  3. Under appreciate no but fair or unfair he had big expectations to live up to and he wasn’t able to do it. We all saw what he is capable of. That move to get wide open on that 4th down touchdown is one of the slickest moves you’ll ever see a WR make. We all heard how hard he worked all summer. We saw the rapport he was building with josh during training camp and through 3 games was outstanding. So to see what happened to him after that Pittsburgh game left slot of us feeling very letdown and wanting more because he showed he is capable of more. I would really like to see him produce next year, but I’m not sure he will perform like we all want him to
  4. So explain the simple math to me with KC and the Bengals. Mahomes has a bigger deal than Allen, they are paying Kelce top dollar, same with Jones, their offensive line has a bigger cap hit than the Bills-they aren’t in much better shape. Burrow and Chase are going to be the top paid at their position, period. If they also pay Higgins that’s not leaving them very much either. I’m not trying to come off condescending so I apologize if I do, but this seems like you are using different math for the other contenders than you are for the Bills
  5. Nobody here is an expert at the cap-you’re saying it’s already horrible and others say it’s a move or 2 away from being fine. I trust the guys who actually know the cap and work for the team will figure it out. The Chiefs are not “a lot” better than us in terms of cap-they have done better with rookies though, Cincy has HUGE contracts coming their way with Burrow and Chase, so neither was us really that much better off. What I do know (and have already stated) is that the cap continues to go up. A problem this year is not necessarily a problem next year or the year after that or the year after that. If it gets the Bills a Super Bowl, I am very much in the camp of not caring if it causes a couple of down years. With Josh, down years will still mean they have a shot
  6. You contradict yourself with the statement and your precious statement. You say he deserved more playing time but then state this. Using your own logic, how would you know he deserved more playing time if you yourself isn’t an insider in the organization?
  7. The cap continues to go up, trading for Hopkins doesn’t necessarily create cap problems. Worry about the cap in 2025 or 2026 when the team actually gets to 2025 or 2026
  8. No no, if I remember correctly some on here said it was anywhere from 3 to probably somewhere around 9 or 10 first round picks with all of the funky math they were doing
  9. This is too much scare tactics for me. Good Oline, not elite, and who is their elite tackle?? MVS couldn’t do anything with Rodgers, didn’t do anything of major significance with KC this past year (cool he scored a couple of td in the playoffs), maybe Moore turns into something, but Toney doesn’t concern me. there’s a lot of big ifs in your statement. Obviously they will be good offensively, but that’s a lot of hyperbole you’re putting out there
  10. This thinking that they haven’t provided him with receivers is false. They have used several first-third round picks on receivers, have signed free agents (Watkins) and it hasn’t worked. Maybe they aren’t the best receivers, but Brown had a first round grade by pretty much everyone, so did Bateman, Lamar just hasn’t been able to raise their level of play. That’s on Lamar and the system, I don’t put as much blame on the receivers
  11. So maybe I have been under a rock, but is there a legit source saying the chiefs are interested? Or is all of this just because he’s a receiver and Bills fans are scared of any move the Chiefs make?
  12. I think it would’ve been real interesting if social media had been around in Jordan’s day or even older football players. The amount of abuse Dick Butkus would’ve gotten would’ve been hilarious! And Jordan was never known as much of a gentleman on or off the court-I think he would be viewed in much the same way Lebron or Aaron Rodgers are today
  13. The problem with your entire statement is you have no plan. Just trade the first round pick to get a RT but have no idea who to get? Same with trading away Oliver for (insert whatever guards name here). Just pick a random ILB in the second round? obviously I’m exaggerating a little it with my statement but that level of thinking would make this team majorly regress in my opinion. That’s how the team approached the draft and free agency throughout the drought
  14. Both of your sentences are exactly why you can’t decide what position you are drafting in March. Makes no sense to put yourself in that mindset, especially drafting so late in the first
  15. You love brining this up but always conveniently forget the details of the game (150 yards passing, drive starts on buffalo’s side of the field, fumble return for a touchdown) but keep talking about how they “significantly improved because they signed a middle of the road linebacker and a good CB who has had no success against the Bills
  16. That might be true and I get it, Jeudy is your guy, but you still have to look at what he has done so far. QB or no QB he hasn’t put up amazing numbers. You don’t give up a first round pick for 700 yards per year. If they can get him for a 2nd (not 2 of them though) or a couple of thirds, I’m in for that
  17. If Jeudy had been drafted by the Bills and had the career he has had so far, the same people clamoring to give up a first round pick for him would be crushing him daily on here!
  18. Haha only here and probably on a fins message board would people consider McDaniel the better coach. The guy had a good half season, and that’s somehow better than playoffs 5 out of 6 seasons? I get that people are let down with how the season ended, but…..
  19. Tua’s option doesn’t kick in until next year
  20. I think it’s hilarious reading through the comments and the amount of people saying the Panthers got hosed and then there is just as many people saying the Bears got hosed! Guess that means it’s actually probably a pretty even trade
  21. Can't go in with just this mentality. Would be great if it worked out and the best player at the time is a lineman, but you can't say 2 months from the draft it can only be a lineman.
  22. So outside of the fact that they don't owe fans an explanation about these moves, by giving an explanation of what they want to do with him they lose negotiating leverage, both with Oliver if they want to re-sign him and with teams if they want to find a trade partner. The people who need to know, know what's going on with him. Fans don't need to know and they shouldn't let us know
  23. Who do they need to explain things to? The fans?
  24. So a couple of things about Brown. First, he has only played 2 years so he can't get a new deal. Second, what has he shown that would make you want to extend him? Played in like half of the games last year, played terrible (definitely regressed) this year. Being tall and having a "mean streak" (whatever that means) does not mean he should get an extension
  25. I get your sentiment but this right here is too much hyperbole
