You would give up a first round pick for a guy who averages roughly 50 catches and 700 yards per year? Yea I know QB play and all that, but that’s a lot to give up for a guy who hasn’t had 1000 yards yet and banking a ton on potential
-
The only one who has done anything of note is Teller. Jones went to the Raiders and did absolutely nothing, did nothing for the first part of this season then finally, finally came on towards the end. And I’m sorry, but 300 yards and a couple of touchdowns for Hodgins is nothing. He’s a slower version of Robert Foster in that as soon as the Giants get some talent at WR he will quickly fall down that depth chart
-
Spencer Brown definitely did NOT show improvement and he better not be locked into a starting spot. The Bills should be looking to upgrade everything along the offensive line. The only spot I think is safe is Dawkins-not amazing but if you can get better play next to him he will be fine and money needs to be spent on other places

Hodgins or Gabe? Who will have the better career? (Poll)
Ya Digg? replied to KDIGGZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well it depends - does the player play for the Bills or another team? If he plays for the Bills the guy apparently needs 1500 yards at least and 10-12 touchdowns. If he plays for another team, it looks like around 300 yards and less than 5 touchdowns. Simples math, duh -
Jalen Hurts This Jalen Hurts That - 3 Rush TDs

If you're talking about during the game, you and I were watching different broadcasts. Those guys did not but praise the Eagles O line repeatedly. They repeatedly showed the one play where Jones tried to jump over the line because he couldn't do anything. If you're talking since the game, it's because Hurts is the QB and he set a record....why is that hard to comprehend? The season is over, and offensive line talk is not going to get people to listen to/watch your programming -
Last question then we can both move on-do you put any responsibility on the Eagles for losing that game? At this point that’s all I wanna know
-
Go back and read your earlier statements, but it’s fine I’m good with it. Again the bigger thing is you are putting the loss on the refs not on the Eagles. It was a penalty, that is also a fact. It was definitely a call that if the Bills were involved and it went against them everyone here would be crucifying the refs and I’d they didn’t get the call everyone here would be complaining that the Bills didn’t get the call on an obvious penalty. I was rooting for the Eagles as well, didn’t want to see the Chiefs win, but the Chiefs were the better team. The Eagles choked that game away. The defense made no stops in the second half, the offense sent 3 and out right after they lost the lead, the special teams gave up a huge punt return. That’s what cost them the game, not the penalty call, and that’s also a fact
-
So you attacking me is cool but me responding with your same tone isn't...got it. The call didn't decide the Super Bowl - it was one play. The Eagles had plenty of mistakes in the second half that had more impact than that. The Chiefs made adjustments, the Eagles froze with 30 minutes to go. If you want to include the refs in the loss fine, but to take away all blame from the Eagles is irresponsible on your part. The Eagles lost that game, plain and simple
-
You're obviously sounding incredibly bitter - Bradberry himself even said it was a hold. Was it the refs fault that they gave up the easy touchdown to Toney? Or the easy one to Moore? Or the Pacheco touchdown? How about the 60+ punt return? You can blame it on the refs if you want, but it wasn't the refs fault they lost
-
On the flip side, is your hate of the Chiefs blinding you to the fact that it was definitely a hold? The refs didn’t decide the outcome, the Eagles poor defense in the second half did
-
Ahhhh yes, Kyle Shanahan, the guy who has won as many super bowls as McDermott. The guy who actually lost the game for Atlanta because as an OC he refused to run the ball. The guy who choked when he was up 10 on the Chiefs….yeah that guy definitely deserves to be ranked above McDermott. At least the other guys on that list have a Super Bowl (although it’s been a while for most of them)

Trevon Diggs trying to get his brother in Dallas
Ya Digg? replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
There’s a huge, tight end size difference between what the Bills and Chiefs have. A QB must have a go to guy, and in your plan you are trading away Josh’s go to guy. Trading away a top 5 receiver in the league and not getting back a #1 receiver would be a monumental mistake-just ask the Packers! people need to calm down with this whole “Diggs is turning back into a diva” thing. Why, because he was frustrated and has voiced it? That makes 99.9% of the people who post in the GDT divas so they need to go as well! That’s how that works, right? -
How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?
Ya Digg? replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Crazy to see Mahomes doing that to his entire division!! He’s definitely getting the Brady treatment in his division, his opponents are garbage! Denver and Las Vegas aren’t going to be good any time soon, and I’d be willing to bet the Chargers miss the playoffs next year -
Daboll/Hodgins - Does their success bother you?
Ya Digg? replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
To me this is manipulating stats to fit what you want it to fit. Let’s be honest to have any stat that has Hodgins rated higher than Diggs does not pass the smell test -
Joe Montana Rooted Against Brady Too!

Haha I love reading the comments from older players and internet tough guys when they talk about older years and “when men were men.” As if trying to keep themselves safe makes them less manly. Are some of the rules a little ridiculous, sure, but also look at how many former players have life long complications because of hits they took during a game. people talk about guys like Jack Lambert like he was this amazing player, toughest guy, all this stuff, when in reality he was mostly a cheap shot artist playing a kids game. Todays players are in fact bigger, stronger, faster than what players used to be (and please don’t mention individual players, I’m talking about players as a whole) because of the fact they play and train year round, so yes rules do need to be put in place to protect these guys. Has Brady benefitted from these rules, obviously yes, but so had Josh and every other QB. The whole “back in my day” talk just sounds like sour grapes to me -
Stefon Diggs - “I watched the game five times”
Ya Digg? replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty clear? How so? You think it’s clear he wants to leave a top 2-3 QB in the league? -
Yeah and up until about midway through last year there was talk that he could possibly be fired at the end of the season
-
I don't think Taylor is in the 1B category.....for a portion of last year there was a lot of talk that he was going to get fired at the end of the year. They then went on their run and had a better year this year, but he was not doing well for a very long time

I feel like this is the discussion forum equivalent to “yeah I kissed that girl when you guys weren’t looking. Also, she goes to another school so you wouldn’t know her”
