But since it is never actually the 4 best teams, it will depend on the whims of a handful of voters. Meaning we might get an overrated Pac 10 12 9 team, somebody's little sister from the ACC. I'm not aware of a workaround for it as it does the same thing to me. You may rest assuredly though that if a thread was merged into an existing one, that it had no no new or relevant information and 90% of the time the "thread" that was merged was nothing more than a sentence or two from a poster who either couldn't be bothered to to use the existing thread or more often than not was created by somebody who just wanted their opinion to take precedence over everybody else's. Trust me, you're not missing anything.

If all those things are true, I'd guess the league is open to the idea of the Bills finding a way to get him off the roster without massive cap damage and will be happy to have him no longer affiliated with the NFL in any way. Likely permanently.

I don't know any of these answers but I would guess that the league itself would be fairly accommodating in allowing the Bills to maneuver themselves into position to release him just so that he is not on anybody's roster next year.
