  1. You are correct. So skipped a year and still needed a RB. Committed 2 3rd round picks and then used a second on a guy the GM came out and said isn’t a starter. RB along with OG, LB and DL are not positions where this front office “gets the benefit of the doubt”. They have not identified the great talent there, in multiple attempts.
  2. Oh yeah? I suppose that’s why they have had to draft a RB for 3 straight years, cause they’ve all been studs. Wow, there is somebody with common sense out there. A guy who didn’t start in college is suddenly better than an All-Pro, makes sense, right? Well said.
  3. The real question is where is going to play? Is he going to kick inside on passing downs and be a penetrating 3T or is he just a back up at DE?
  4. If those PSL numbers are correct, there’s going to be a lot of long time fans sitting in the warmth of their own homes. Pretty ***** to have fans that have been buying season tickets for 20+ years now getting to drop thousands a seat to keep the privilege of buying season tickets.
  5. Yeah, I’m saying he quit football 3 years ago
  6. I don’t watch much Fox, so idgaf. Wonder how much Kraft is funneling to him after retirement to make up for all those half ass contracts he accepted for the Pats.
  7. He did, but the Bills also made the right call there, he had one season in 4 with double digit sacks (10 on the nose) after he left, his first year. He was up there in years, they got the absolute best out of him. If there’s ONE thing Bellicheck has right, it’s move on a year too soon rather than 1 too late. I understand his desire to play more and I understand the Bills not being willing to pay for it. A rare instance where both the player and the team got a good deal. Absolutely one of the All-time greats. Either the refs held a grudge for a long time or this is severely over blown. He got himself in some odd looking spots because he got low and tried to bend around the corner, but it wasn’t a hold every play like Bills fans want to believe.
  8. Nailed it. Honestly, I could see it on FGs, not extra points. If they don’t catch it, let him fire it or run. I think you are right, it would just be a time out burner until somebody said screw it, let’s see you actually run the play.
  9. I am with you, I’m saying people have come to think of the pats system as interchangeable. I don’t think it will be so easy without Brady, period. Mac n Cheez is no Tawmy. I expect them to struggle a lot and I think not have Scarnechia (probably butchered that) will have a big impact on the line play. I expect the pats to be sub .500 this year.
  10. I want to go, but if Jab receipts are required, I’m out.
  11. The thing is, they have lost him before and kept right on going. I think it’s bigger this time because there’s no Brady to cover it all, but that’s yet to be proven. I personally think you will see more of a drop off from the Online coach retiring.
  12. Awesome. That sounds pretty BA. In all seriousness, he has to make the team before I worry about it. He’s basically the Josh Allen of Punters at this point. All the tools are there, but everyone knows you can’t fix holding at this level. Really though, he does have to reshape his punts to much more hang time and he has to be consistently good at the hold or he won’t make the team. It’s really that simple. I’m rooting for him, but he’s going to have to earn it. You know damn well this team will take the holding on kicks over the extra yards on punts, they did it all last season.
  13. You have a point.. if it requires a current jab, I’ll happily stay home and enjoy better views on TV.
  14. Real deal, I’ll watch on TV. That said, if the Bills make it in 2025, I’ll take my ass to Nawlins if I can score a pair of decent tickets under $5k. I don’t want to go to AZ or LV, so if we make it, cool, I have a nice TV. Get to the Super Dome and I’m in
  15. I thought they were cracking down on rookie hazing, nobody should be tortured through a Sabres game against their will.
  16. Honestly, he turned into a head case, but he has got himself together and had a decent year last season. I think he got into drugs after getting picked to be real honest, but that’s from hearing the stories of him. Either way, he did look good in college, and had the measurables you want.
  17. Would be nice to have another guy with some talent and experience in the roster. I know we all skip over thinking about ANYBODY being a serious contender in the East, but the Phins could be a tough competitor this year. Tua hasn’t looked great and that’s the big hope, but if he’s healthy and he’s on point, that’s going to be a good offense. They have so much talent he just has to get the ball to, I really don’t want to line up across from Waddle and Hill with a rookie and Dane Jackson, if Tre is back, that’s fine, but he can’t run with them either. For me, I’d love to see another quality CB added. You never want to rely on a rookie, there’s not a choice, but you don’t want to. You have a great player coming back, but you don’t know what he’s going to be when he gets here. The CB position is far from “set”.
  18. Gotta wonder how hard it is to even get an interview with those ***** shows on the resume. I’m sure he had his list of “ I said this guy, they did this”
  19. I like it, the Rams are extremely over rated, Allen will have himself a DAY.
  20. The 5th year deal is non-negotiable unless an extension is signed. So he really has no say in it.
  21. Yes! People fail to look at the opportunity cost of taking these projects instead of the best player. I call Bull on Beane drafting BPA, he has consistently drafted for need early and it’s worked exactly 1 time. Every other hole he’s forced a pick to fill in the draft has been a failure. Later in the draft when they appear to go after BPA, the results are much better. THIS is why BPA matters.
  22. All the talent in front of those guys can barely get league minimum… or has t signed, sooo…
  23. Groot did as well as one could hope, the other two can’t crack a talentless rotation, that’s 2 wasted 2nd round picks if they don’t figure it out quickly. The second round pick should be a near immediate starter, since Beane has been in charge they haven’t gotten a single starter in 4 years from round 2 and he APPEARS to have whiffed on every top pick for the DL. Yes Oliver is starting, but nobody would give you a first round pick for his performance. Thus far, Beane has not HIT on a single top end draft pick on the defense. What the other GM said is completely accurate.
