  1. I hope Brown can be healthy and take the job, that said, I feel much better knowing Snell is there if he can’t. He’s not dominant by any measure, but he’s better than we’ve had as and alternative since Williams had his one good year.
  2. I’d love to have that DC, with any team he can field, stop Allen when he needs to score 😂. I’ll give it to them, with the game on the line, if you take away the threat of running, Lamar scares nobody. Hurts will take it over your head, so if you can stop that too, then maybe you can say he won’t get you (good luck with all that BTW). With Allen, the only way you beat that animal is to bulldoze the line into his lap, which can happen, but as a passer, he’ll still destroy you. The guy doesn’t throw over 4k yards every year by mistake…
  3. If the decision genuinely comes down to run support, we should support running this coaching staff out of town. My read is Elam isn’t a great practice player and McD can’t let that go.
  4. I’m excited to watch the Ravens this year, people hate in Roman, but everywhere he leaves the “star” running QB struggles to do anything in a conventional offense. I expect the trend to continue and they are now LOCKED into Jackson.
  5. I’m so confident in him, I’ll take him in the last round of my fantasy draft, 2 rounds after Harris. I think he has slightly more upside than a second kicker, so I’m willing to roll the dice.
  6. Nailed it. If it wasn’t for Daddy’s name, he wouldn’t even have made college ranks. He got a job at Cuse with a buddy, Buffalo dragged them up to a league they didn’t belong in. Most Bills fans couldn’t wait to get rid of them and then the dumpster fire of Florida signed them, more good ole boys club BS (yay for us), they had a singular good season before all the weapons left. They then ran that team into the ground. Hacket managed to fail his way up and become buddies with Rodgers, so much so, that he became a prerequisite for Rodgers to sign.. until money talked.. then he ruined Russ and the Broncos, now he’s back to Rodgers. The guy may “know” football, but that doesn’t mean he is NFL material, which it’s blatantly obvious, he is not. His schemes are high level HS ball, mid-tier college at best. Without the perfect storm, they fail miserably in the NFL and it’s because it’s plans predicated on 1970s football.
  7. That’s because, 1) they had weapons. 2) Bortles for all his faults, was a gun slinger and caused trouble with his legs to open things up. 3) Played against pitiful defenses. 4) Hacket runs a college scheme, which fit Bortles limitations. What happened the next season?
  8. He’s hung around for a long time.. Foster not so much.
  9. He’s not going to get 16M, if anything, I bet the RB market gets worse before it gets better. I’d be shocked if there aren’t 5-6 “star” RBs on the market next year and nobody gets 10+.
  10. I’m not going to read much into the first few days of camp, but yeah, if he can’t be consistent, I’m happy to have him take his money from another club next season.
  11. I’m sure THIS year is different. People were slobbing all over him for his great off season last year, dude still couldn’t catch a cold in December. Call me when he gets his hands right and quits trying to clap fastballs.
  12. Ok, we can agree on this, he’s not the #2 you want. I think he’s a pretty good #3, but a below average #2. He has flashes / spurts of great play, which make his numbers look like a #2 at the end of the year. End of the day, the position needs to be upgraded.
  13. I would call the Receiver room “full” not stacked. The only way I see Davis being traded is somebody offering a really nice pick OR swap for another vet WR of the same caliber. I guess the other possibility could be Shorter claiming the #2 spot in camp, that I do not see happening. Im all for trading Davis if there is a plan in place, I don’t think he’s a number 2 at all, so I’d let him go if I had a better option, but that leaves a very small WR room with little to no history of production and in a SB or Bust type of scenario, you don’t compromise depth over a 3rd round pick.
  14. Hope he is ok and it’s nothing more than a strain that heals up prior to the start of the year. He’s too valuable to have sitting. Sure it’s great for the rest of the AFC to soften one of the best teams, but I wish him a speedy and full recovery.
  15. Agreed, I cannot see him doing better, but who knows.
  16. He turned down a longer deal bc he wanted to be paid top dollar. He screwed himself.
  17. Downside is Allen will get 70M on the backend of his deal.
  18. I thought he looked like he was pretty solid in TN when he got a shot, certainly not expecting a lot, but if he makes the roster, I won’t be shocked. I think we have different definitions of “solid”. It’s a risk and a half, similar to WR, except with this group there is no top end guy to lean on. Harris has to stay healthy or we are watching JA as the leading rusher again.
  19. That sucks. He really came into his own last year, I was hoping we could land him. Hope it’s better than it sounds.
  20. Yep, if he shows up for the first week, they have to pay him.
  21. I’d actually lean towards Shakir being the returner, he was awesome in College. He’s plenty fast enough (4.42) and his open field moves are nuts. I’d expect this to have more impact on the WRs than RB room per se. It does however mean, the RB room just got a little thin for comfort. Harris has an injury history, Cook has never been a 1 and Murray is really a guy you want as a back up. Not saying it should change the plans, but I certainly wouldn’t be shocked if it’s a nudge to go after a better bell cow type.
  22. I’m actually pretty pumped about this signing, it’s a lot of IFs, but if he’s healthy and has his head on right, he could be the #2 TE behind Knox, send him and Knox on the line and Kincaid in the slot, now you have some size to deal with out there. To me, it would make a ton of sense for the Bills to pivot their game inside the 20’s which is where they really struggled (relative term), vs between the 20s where there’s more space to operate. Diggs is the only proven guy that can separate in tight quarters and he shouldn’t be the biggest threat to teams when you get to the redzone, no offense to him, he’s small. Having potentially 4 guys out there over 6’2” if you roll 3 TEs, all capable of running routes and Davis, with Diggs working the soft spot, it’s going to be a mismatch somewhere or teams match it and open up opportunities to run, throw to RBs etc. I’d love to see something along the lines of what the Pats used to do with Gronk and Hernandez and let Kincaid play a slot role, that would be something else. With teams going to a smaller/faster D, you should look to pivot towards size and power to punish them for it. Let’s hope that’s part of the plan at least.
  23. If I was a millionaire, I wouldn’t still be working towards being one.. same thing and same odds as Davis getting to a”high end” number 2 this year.
  24. I sincerely hope he holds out all season.. he is the Josh Allen of their defense.
  25. At least they know the TE depth is atrocious (if you consider Kincaid a big slot). There’s not a real TE on the roster aside from Knox.
