  1. Look at the QBs he has worked worked with, who got better after he left?
  2. I’m just happy they have 2 QBs, as we know, “If you have two, you don’t have one.” Reminds me of Todd Collins vs Alex Van Pelt, good for them.
  3. This is definitely a product of just taking what’s there. We almost NEVER saw Diggs or any WR for that matter, get a quick screen pass outside. With soft coverage constantly, flipping it out to him has been like a free 7 yards, might as well take it. Also, not hating on him, but Beasley was absolutely awful for the YAC yards, Captain catch and dive killed YAC stats. As defenses adjust to that quick flip more, I suspect you will see the YAC start to fall off a little, but if Cook or CMC start getting the ball on short throws and making something happen, it might come back up.
  4. Man, I was thinking Tre White on some other KC dude named White.. this is way less exciting.
  5. I never said “every single time you have a 4th Q comeback, you were ineffective the first 3Qs”. I said, it makes you wonder why you are behind so often if you are the kind of comebacks. For Manning, Brady, etc, they played a lot of years and you expect they would fall behind at times. I’m more surprised to see Brady having that many because I remember a lot of the glory years where they blew teams out, but we tend to forget the days where they ground a lot of games out, running the ball a lot. Manning used to to run a very balanced attack as well. It’s not a big shock they would run early, and make the plays needed to win late. Carr plays in a different era, if you are coming back in a passing league, either A) your team sucks or B) maybe you do as a QB. It’s a little of both for Carr. He’s been pretty clutch, but the Raiders often struggle to get anything going and that’s more why he has the comebacks IMO.
  6. This year, I’d take Tua in Concussion Protocol over Wilson.
  7. I hate the comeback stat, why are you down that often? Was it your team sucks and you are putting them on your back at the end of the game OR were you ineffective all game and this is just correcting for it? For Carr it’sA bit of a combo. The others on that too 5 list played for 187 years combined, so it’s kind of expected to have more opportunities. Who was Brady behind all those years?
  8. I guess you are supposed to give them a hug and wait for a whistle at this point.
  9. Exactly, they let the whole game ride on one play. I give them credit for trying to run it, Jacobs had been virtually unstoppable all night, so that made sense, but it should have been an effort to tie the game first and foremost. The idiotic agreement by the announcer “the way your defense is playing you want to take the lead here”, really? The Defense is playing like *****, so you put it all on them if you don’t get the 2pts and they still have to STOP KC from scoring to keep a lead, which BTW they did. So worst case, you could have gone to OT. Also, WTF were those last two play calls about? You needed 1 yard to get a first down, and you heave it downfield both tries? Get the first with Jacobs, spike it and set up 3-4 plays to get to 15 yards for a FG. It’s like they let a Middle School QB draw up the plans for a back yard game when his mom was yelling to come in for dinner. It will all come down to the DL getting pressure or letting him pick you apart. If they play soft like LV did and give him a week to throw, it’s over.
  10. McDaniels is proving why it took so long for him to get another HC job, he is awful. The Raiders lost that game, KC didn’t win. In 5 minutes of game time the Raiders gave the game up on a silver platter 3 times. What a joke.
  11. Hurts looks better than I thought he could, but this team is like the Falcons back in the early 2000’s when they looked like Gods all year and choked in the playoffs 2 years in a row, they played like 4 games a year against teams that ultimately ended up having winning records. The NFC as a whole is awful.
  12. That’s gotta be half the league by now.
  13. Ultimate gamble, I’d roll the dice if Dorsey says he can get him 15 touches a game without disrupting the O. When healthy he’s one of the best in the game at one of the weakest positions on the team.
  14. what he did against KC was dominant, but it was because of their attention to Diggs and very likely because of the injury to Honey Badger. Yesterday for far from dominant, he had 98 yards on the third play of day for offense and 2 catches the rest of the game, in this case the box score is a lot more impressive than the actually performance. Last year, everybody looked at the Titans game and said Henry only ripped off one big play and the Bills contained him otherwise. Which is true. The Big plays still count and do impact the game, but everyone talking like Davis is a God, need to chill.
  15. There’s the right comparison. Peerless was a different type of WR, but Davis and Price both get way less attention because of a true #1 across from them and get to run deep. Inflated numbers because of situational ball. Price fell on his face once he left and Davis will too. I think we see things the same, he needs Allen, Diggs and to stay healthy to be a good player in this offense. Take any one element away and he’s just a guy. Yesterday wasn’t all that exceptional. He had one play that at a ton of yards. The rest of the day, ehh.
  16. My point exactly, he’s playing well because of Allen, on another team he’s another body, not that he’s proven to be much more here. He has a couple of big games to lean on, but the guy has 2 600 yard seasons, not exactly lighting it up. Any team he’s a #1 on has nobody to throw to and if you make him the primary target, he’s not getting those big plays, he gets his because the D is focused on Diggs. Be real, the KC game, they completely took Diggs out, so Davis got the ball. Yesterday, he got one on ones and managed what 3 catches? Granted one was a 98 yard play, and one was a pretty awesome fight for the ball in the end zone, but it’s not like he took over the game.
  17. Bills fans just can’t help but loving the underdog and believe everyone is just a star that didn’t get a chance. The WR room is weak, Allen makes them look good. Diggs is a legit player, Davis is a good #2 or 3 and the rest are hot garbage, but everyone here wants to believe Davis is an All-Pro and McKenzie is a top flight slot guy, oh and Shakir is the 2nd coming of Edelman. Everyone needs to get a grip. Without Allen, there is one starter in the whole group. Yep, you are correct, I used the wrong numbers. You are also pulling one hell of an exception game to make the numbers look unrealistic. That’s actually great evidence that he isn’t an effective short route runner, but it’s a nice stat either way.
  18. Davis is better than Kumerow, but it’s like Bills fans forget their prize toys are literally throw always, McKenzie was another team’s cut, as was Kumerow, the highest drafted player in the WR room is Crowder, then Davis for crying out loud.
  19. The Legend of Gabe Davis is far better than the actual player. He’s a good player, being elevated by Josh Allen. He’s a number 2 on this team, but a #3 or #4 on others. I like the kid, but this is another Bills fan over reaction to a couple of flashy plays.
  20. No shock, but the timing is odd. Wonder how long it will take Denver to recognize their mistake.
  21. He’s gotta clean up the mental mistakes, but he looks like he belongs with the ball in his hands. I see a Wes Welker type, hope he continues to get better with experience. If he does, he’ll be the starter.
