  1. Whoa whoa whoa, you are letting facts get in the way of the good story people still want here.
  2. Hes having a terrible year and has a massive cap implication for years to come, they will take the best offer they can get and I dont see that being more than a 4th.
  3. Josh Allen is not regarded as a better QB than Andy Dalton by ANYONE outside of delusional Bills fans. Right now, Josh Allen is a bottom 5 starter in this league. There's a distinct difference between potential and reality and that seems to be a lost concept to a lot of you.
  4. The first step to recovery is realizing you have a problem. Denial is not a River boys. Now there's some common sense. How could any one not want the last QB to get the Bills into the Playoffs? Finally, we could have him on our roster, that would be nice.
  5. He's a massive upgrade over Josh right now. Allen has been a borderline Joke this year, not saying he can't get better, but he's been bad.
  6. I gotta tell you, Miller is about done, he has no where near the burst he used to. He's always relied on speed and not unlike Hughes, its starting to trail off. I wouldn't touch him. He may finish with 10 sacks this year ( thats probably a stretch), but hes far from the guy that made him his name.
  7. I agree, Wallace was beat like a drum all preseason and nobody wanted to hear about it. I said then he is not a starter and I stand by that, but I got and will get ripped for it, he's just another guy who is a step slow and never a threat to actually pick the ball, he allows the catch and reacts pretty well. There has been a lot of rolling a saftey to him for help in the redzone, gonwatch the NE game and its blatantly obvious what they really think of him. White is a good corner, a solid number 1, but he's not elite. He's nowhere near a Revis etc., he's just not fast or quite fluid enough to be in that category. I am more than happy to have him, but even the #1 slot can be upgraded. Down to the real point, this team still needs a QB first and foremost, Allen is not the guy now and I personally don't think he ever will be, I would move on sooner than later, worst case scenario is ending up like the Chargers and having two great QBs on one roster ad having to choose ( they chose wrong.. oops). Secondly, Star is a bust and that signing was awful from day one, so they do need a replacement. Thus far, Oliver has taken far more double teams and he has been rendered pretty ineffective, largley because Star can be handled with one guy as can Peko, so by upgrading the 1 tech, you really get better production from 2 spots. None of the DEs are getting it done, Johnson looks to have the most hope, but still a rookie that needs weight. The rest have been borderline useless. I honestly feel the WRs aren't the issue, they are open enough, could they be slightly more reliable? Yes, but ball placement MUST be better. Daboll may be the biggest issue with the offense, his calls have been beyond awful. To me, this team needs a lot to compete for real, until they have more in place, I would not give up much in draft capital to try to sneak in the wildcard again. It's only one extra game, they aren't anywhere near ready for the real competition of the playoffs.
  8. Lets get real here, he's not goingnto be released until after the trade deadline so he has to clear waivers, they aren't dumb enough to let him go now so he can sign some where that might hurt them. Nothing to lose by holding him a week. Waive claim means you takenover his current contract. He's a FA next year, so he can do what he wants then, but for now, whoever claims him, keeps his rights for the year. If there's that much interest in him, maybe the Pats will trade him. We sent Bodine to them, maybe there is an outside chance they would entertain an offer for him. If so I'd make a move for a 4th or so to get him befire he gets claimed, but I have a feeling im not the only guy that thinks that and the other 16 are GMs in the NFC.
  9. He's just being honest. I don't believe they are legit either. Looking at the schedule when it came out, I thought there were at least 8 winnable games after the season started there are 14 winnable games and some teams that are just inexcusably bad this year. The Pats are the Pats, they should be undefeated, barring a Brady injury. This is goingnto play out a lot like it used to in the NFC South, remember the amazing year(s) the Falcons had, only to get bounced early in the playoffs, then like they forgot hownto play football, they collapsed the next year? Same thing here, except they didn't have the Pats to play. This team gets by against garbage, call me when they beat a real team, which by the way, the Pats are the only one left. The Eagles are a sure win for a good team, the cowboys have been rocked, then who?
  10. You can see it in other mediocre QBs, but are blinded by the fact he plays for your team. Well, outside of the fact he had to go 10/11 to make his whole game numbers respectable, against the worst team in the NFL, yes, excellent.
  11. He's been horrible, but nobody here wants to admit it. People were hating on Tannehill when he was in Miami and thus far, Josh has been a slightly worse version of a young Tannehill. Can he improve? I sure hope so. Right now, everywhere outside of Buffalo, people are questioning how the Bills are winning despite horrible QB play. Here apparently, as long as you get the W, regardless of the 4 of those wins were struggles against the worst teams in the NFL, Josh Allen is God. The sad part is, he's the best QB the Bills have had since Flutie and people think they have something. It's blatantly obvious to the rest of the world, he's headed towards the Bust side of that "boom or bust" lable he had coming into the NFL. That draft class of QBs is not looking good at all. Mayfield looks like a middle of the road type who's attitude may kill him, Darnold has exactly one game to hang his hat on, Allen has perfected coming back after handing games away, Rosen is probably done already and Jackson is pretty good in that system, but not a real thrower at all, but again hype because the team is winning. 2 years from now, people will look back at this draft and question what everyone was so excited about. The year before you had 2 HOF potential QBs fall to 10 and 13 or whereever Watson was taken and nobody from this class is close after going 1,3,7,10
  12. Get ready, you spoke against the "Chosen One". You are now a know nothing troll, who doesn't know football and obviously can't see the greatness in front of you. 5-1 with 4 come from behind wins against 4 of the worst teams in the NFL are proof of the greatness. Letting facts like 12 turnovers get in the way and pointing out, were it not for his deficiencies, there wouldn't have been a need for comebacks, is not going to be allowed here.
  13. I'd drop a first for Williams, he could be the difference between a lot of wins and losses. Allen has been under pressure a lot of the edge and frankly, thats when the stupid button gets pushed. I think Williams could stop a lot of that. You get 5 years from a first rounder, if they work out and then its big money time. We have seen plenty that don't work out, I'd take 4-5 years of a proven stud at this point. I'd also try to get OBJ if he really is on the table, you are going to have to pay for him, but again a first and probably a 4th would be worth it for pretty much everything I said above except now you have an elite weapon. The fact Clowney isnt wearing a Bills uniform right now tells me all of this is not realistic as that was the trade that should have been made. This team could be improved a lot, picking which of the guys who sits inactive on Sundays to cut isn't that big of a thing if you are getting real talent.
  14. Good post, almost surely going to get flamed for allowing facts to get in the way of a good story, but I agree with you. Duke did what a number 3 or 4 guy should do for you, catch the ball first and foremost and be a nice option when 1 and 2 are covered up. He didn't have a big day, but sadly it was bigger than what Zay had managed on any sort of consistent basis. I was big on Zay when he was drafted, but it was pretty clear he wasn't going to make it here. I hope Duke keeps it going, he's a good story and it would be awesome if he could manage a Stevie Johnson type of career here.
  15. Both the Pats and Bills have had super soft schedules, take a chill pill.
  16. At some point in the next 8 years, Im sure you are right.
  17. I'd be ok with Stafford, my fear is you are looking at Tannehill, which looks to be a better comparison right now.
  18. I'd take Brown back, good solid player. I'd love to have Gilmore with Tre..
  19. Ok, so check the records of the teams in question here, THEN reference back to the fact the Bills average less than all of them in reality and then you can try to twist it to your belief that you only count the games against teams picking in the top 10 of next years draft because of their defence being 24th or worst in scoring. I'm sorry, your argument doesn't hold any water at all. You still have a team who has averaged 18 ppg in the real world. Your argument for "Good" teams is laughable at best. Saints - Teddy Bridgewater is doing more, Colts - Jacoby Brissett isn't exactly a great QB, Vikings - are you even trying?, Jags - the Mustache!, Falcons are good this year? C'mon now.
  20. I see the numbers, but you have to be honest about them. 22ppg vs the 24th, 25th and 27th defense in scoring. There have been signs of life, but this is not a very good offense right now. Most of the issues stem from turnovers, there should have been a lot more points in all of those games, but you don't get "should have been" points. We all love it when Brady throws a pick in the endzone, but on the same token, can't claim we scored on a fumble on the 10, ect.. Execution has to happen, not excuses.
  21. To be fair, there's not 3 top 10 teams there in scoring and that's what you are talking about. You have the 24th, 25th and 27th teams in scoring allowed. The Pats and Titans are good, but this team has not exactly scored a lot.
  22. Is it hard to see? If Josh gets any kind of season ending injury, Eli is superior to Barkley in every way, you want to know what it costs to try to save a season where you should be playoff bound and potentially more. You don't want to pay him for less than that, so its just kicking the tires in case something happens.
  23. I honestly don't see the point, Drake is a minor upgrade, if any at all. Gordon is a top 10RB, so at least theres a question of it being worth it.
