  1. I suspect that the rest of the league believes that the Bills letting him walk in the manner they did, speaks loudly that Spain has issues with the chain of command within the team structure, aka a trouble maker to some degree or another, (sudden foot soreness) that on top of Spain not being highly sought after at any point in his career speaks volumes as to why he is on the bengals practice squad.
  2. Well, “if” he copped an attitude and ran his mouth a bunch after being benched, and didn’t adult up and stay with the program, and then on top of that, claimed a mystery foot injury hours before an upcoming game, then yes, he got himself fired. You just can’t have such behavior in your organization. The Bills handled this quietly and professionally and did not disparage him publicly in any way. Its hard to know obviously, but I have let people go from their employment for similar behavior. Imo they likely told him to step back and realize his reality, and he refused, so in such case he’s gone. That’s just how I see it. This also sets an excellent example of expectations for the rest of the employees.
  3. Poor play got him benched, and then he ran his mouth, repeatedly, combined with poor attitude is the likely answer imo. Oh well, Its spilled milk at this point.
  4. If Gilmore doesn’t play it should open up some opportunities for us, fingers crossed he’s done in NE.
  5. This right here ^^^ As Shaw66 said it’s how you train players to not do that stuff. Imo an ejection from a game should include the players game day check, and team fine of one million dollars to come out of the owners pocket. Piss off the owner and you will see this rectified immediately. Might sound awfully dramatic but we all know it would work.
  6. Lao Tsu, The art of war, #1 know your enemy... Bill has a copy in his desk.
  7. Being that every player gets dinged up, it certainly does not hurt a teams reputation that they don’t rush guys back from injury before they have properly healed up. I suspect it does impact a potential future players decision to some degree. Yes money is the main driver, but being treated as more than a commodity has got to go into the thinking, being most of these guys have wives and children that they are providing for long term.
  8. Staff knows darn well that with over half a season still to be played. they need their guys truly healthy and motivated, that and they do seem to be decent people who care about each other. Go Bills!!!
  9. Its a case of the dreaded Spain sore foot syndrome...
  10. No doubt, I’m going with, “the game is won and lost in the trenches” Next...
  11. The mud elephant wading through the sea leaves no tracks i think the op will understand... Go Bills!!!
  12. Ah, I hadn’t updated my travels, we are in Beaufort SC presently, Continuing south after Some weather we are dodging, such is boat life, currently anchored with a few other boats near the Ladies island bridge, we hope to winter in the Bahamas 🇧🇸 Go Bills!!!
  13. It’s a case of the dreaded Spain foot soreness.... 😁
  14. Nah, Gilmore won’t want to hurt himself for a team he doesn’t want to be a part of, that and the trade will be incumbent on a healthy player.
  15. Just love to see the pats in disarray, it’s like the smell of napalm in the morning..., it smells like victory... maybe he won’t be playing this Sunday... 😁
  16. And the teams and the game would be more well rounded, but we would still have moron owners and their hand picked staffs (the Jets for instance) that would still have a tire fire of a team and organization. I guess it would In reality the league would not change very much after all.
  17. I here you, but on the other hand, I have to admit, I love it when players take advantage of billionaires and take tens of millions of dollars from them and milk them for years, this happens a lot, and it just shows how much money the owners have that it doesn’t seem to even bother them....
  18. Being that the entire league is a monopoly, they certainly can price fix at any position if they feel inclined to... buy the owners have money coming out the wahzoo, so there is little to no motivation to do so.
  19. I suspect the team is not the issue, but rather some of the fan base... all the injuries do indeed present difficulties, but again it’s some of the fans, not so much the players, they know full well when you have ten starter level players and a bunch of backups injured it’s gonna suck, and there is nuthin much to be done about it until those injured players are healthy again. I know that the fans expect the players that fill in to be just as successful, but they are not the starters for a reason... Go Bills!!!
  20. Hey, Dunning Kruger man, you do realize that Every team can only play the teams on their schedule, right? And if some of those teams purposefully let their best players walk that is on them, right? it’s not on the other teams, right? Now take your endlessly half empty glass and find another place to whine about this team. There is a black cloud hovering overhead everywhere you post, and you are the only guy in the room who doesn’t see it. Nuthin but luv... Go Bills!!!
  21. Well then Virgil , it’s past time to kick daddy’s azs then, isn’t it. Sunday looks like a great opportunity to bloody him up some. Go Bills!!!
  22. Like all of our AFCE games it’s important, kind of a no brainer don’t ya think. Its Kraft and Beli boys fault the pats suck this year, they purposely let the team fall apart, end of discussion. Sorry, but your angst is your own on this topic. And Fuh k the whole pats organization top to bottom, cheating pieces of 💩 every one of them. Go Bills!!!
