  1. It's funny how fast things change in the NFL. Two years ago multiple teams were interested in having him be their head coach, to now being the Bills QB coach. I think it all went too fast for him, and a lot of that had to do with Burrow absolutely dominating at LSU. This job is going to prove to be a good springboard for his career back up the ladder.
  2. Call me when Tua impresses in a game, because all I've seen is a fish out of water the last two years and nothing he does in practice will ever change that sentiment.
  3. Agreed. That’s the case for virtually every OC as well. They’re only as good as their quarterback. At the end of the day they can’t throw the football or go through the progressions. Allen’s not going to suddenly forgot how to throw a football or scramble because Daboll is gone.
  4. Guard is going to be a revolving door for us this year. Hopefully talent at the other spots covers this gaping hole.
  5. Future stadium has nothing to do with these numbers. Every team increased just by existing. The stadium won't come into play until it's actually built and revenue increases exponentially in year one.
  6. MLB, Safety, RB. You let those players walk when you’re close to the cap like we are. It’s nothing personal, it’s just business. Some floundering franchise will pay him more than we will be able to and he’s definitely earned that contract, just not from us.
  7. No Brady? Lamar Jackson, who can't throw a football to save his life ahead of Mahomes/Allen who can both run, and throw a football 100x better than Jackson ever could is number one? Too bad the guardian caps weren't around when Keyshawn was playing. He could have used one, or four.
  8. I think LA has too much talent. Herbert is only going to get better which is scary to think. I think KC has lost too much, don’t have a ton of faith in Carr and Denver I think is the definition of a .500 football team with Wilson
  9. Four TE's is just bad roster management. Your third tight end is only getting a handful of snaps at best in a game and now you want a fourth one to do even less? You're better off investing in an extra lineman or corner.
  10. Derek Carr and Kirk Cousins get ripped as bad as Murray and Jackson. Mahomes is delusional.
  11. Ah yes, more money in his pockets while he stiffs the taxpayers with one of the worst stadium deals this century.
  12. No Brady, no worries about New England. Mac has a noodle arm and that defense is Swiss cheese. Brady and LT made Belichick’s career. Two of the all-time greats at their positions. Those Sony video cameras as well were too class, can’t forget those.
  13. Jimmy G winning the "battle" would have put egg all over the face of Lynch/Shanahan. It's not a Rodgers/Love situation where Rodgers is a future Hall of Famer. Plus the 49ers gave up a boatload to get him. That's why they never had that battle in the first place this year, it would have been over quickly like last year.
  14. If KC won't pay him, someone will. I'm all for players getting as much money as they can and holding their ground, especially considering all these billionaire owners beg for handouts on their billion dollar stadiums.
  15. They were smart to roll them out in a game nobody will watch. Wentz vs Fields on a Thursday night? I can think of 100 other things I would rather do.
  16. As long as he plays up to his contract I really don't care. If he whines in the media like he's done all off-season about how he misses LA or he chose to take the money, etc and doesn't perform then we have a problem. If he performs then it's something I'm sure the fanbase can put up with.
  17. This article is an embarrassment. Any given Sunday. We out of any fanbase would know nothing is guaranteed in this league. I’ve had enough heartbreak watching this team. With that said we have a damn good team and a damn good quarterback. It won’t be easy beating the Buffalo Bills.
  18. He's a good player but we're getting to the point where we can't pay everyone, like all great teams. Thankfully for us, linebacker isn't the most crucial position on a team and if the contract his agents are looking for is out of control you can easily fill that hole with a serviceable player with a chance to grow through the draft.
  19. That’s not how the world works. Your employee can discipline you regardless of the law. You can steal from work, your place of employment can refuse to press charges but terminate you because of it. Or you can assault someone outside of work, and your workplace can still terminate you over it because of the bad optics and potential you’ll bring that behaviour over. Why should these players be allowed to keep their jobs and money without repercussion?
  20. It's 2022, they're not going to dump a boatload of money into something that isn't feasible to maintain or keep the fans as comfortable as possible given the open air nature.
  21. Okay maybe a bit dramatic. Allen still has another 10-12 years of top level play left in him but this year was the perfect storm to win a Super Bowl. The NFC was weak this year, there was no clear cut favourite other than a 45 year old Tom Brady. The 49ers don’t awe you and the Rams are and up and down football team. Who knows who wins Sunday. The AFC had a lot of mediocre playoff teams. Vegas, Pittsburgh, Tennessee had no offense down the stretch yet we’re a one seed. Cincinnati is playing out of their minds right now but need a last second FG to beat Tennessee and Vegas went down to the last play. Speaking of Cincinnati, they’ll only get better. Burrow another year older same with Chase. KC still has Mahomes. You have to think the Chargers begin to start putting it together in Herbert’s third year. Baltimore gets Jackson back, who were 8-3 when he got injured. Cleveland could be back in the mix, they made the AFCCG last year and played the Chiefs close. Indy has a good team other than Wentz. Etc. The NFC who knows, I don’t see any franchise quarterbacks up and coming in that conference. After 2022 Allen’s cap hit goes to 40 million dollars, unless that’s adjusted we start losing room to build a team. Competing gets tougher. Bad teams overpay our good players because we can’t afford them. And winning gets harder. With Allen, winning every game is possible but it’s not as straight forward as it could have been this year.
  22. I’m sorry, how do you not squib the ball, run 4-5 seconds off, force a Hail Mary and it’s game over? McDermott has to be voice of reason in this situation. The defense was getting chewed up the entire second half with zero resistance. It’s inexcusable that they would not squib.
