  1. I’m hearing we’re going to draft a player in the first round and he will hopefully be a good player who may or may not play on the defensive side of the ball.
  2. If they drafted Lock that locker room would explode. They just signed Rodgers to a mega-deal. Makes absolutely no sense. And why would they trade us 30 and not 12??
  3. Potential and when he was on the field he was a monster, especially last year before his injury. He'll go way before nine. Someone will trade up for him if he somehow makes it past five.
  4. Not quoting me but I’ll answer. No, he wasn’t. But you’re not winning a Super Bowl with 11 Matt Milano’s on the defence. You need All-Pro talent and odds are much greater that you’ll take them in the first round compared to the others.
  5. I’m excited, we have a ton of draft picks which means we’ll be in the market to wheel and deal. Whether that means up the board or down. There’s a lot of really good players to be had in the first three rounds and this will probably be one of the few years where I stick around past the second.
  6. The Cardinals not drafting Murray is fascinating because that blows the entire draft wide open and really changes everything. Do the Raiders take him? Do the Giants? How many teams have other QBs ahead of him which means he could tumble down the board if teams like Lock or Haskins more.
  7. To be fair Gruden is an offensive guy so maybe he sees more value in spending that money and draft capital on an offensive player.
  8. Love Lawrence, would have no gripes with trading up into the end of the first round to snag him.
  9. Exactly, and the better your defense is, the easier it is for you.
  10. I think the Ravens will be lucky to win 6 games. Their front seven is ravaged and they have absolutely nothing at wideout. Put eight in the box and I'll dare Lamar Jackson to beat me with his arm all day. I'd be surprised if we aren't favourites in that game.
  11. You need a guy that loves the game, the number one reason is that the kid got paid and he's had enough. If they manage it right they're set for life. You need a guy that loves waking up at 5am, hitting the gym and spending a good part of the day watching film on their tablet. If you can find a guy who has that hunger to get better every snap you're already halfway there. Drafting based on measurables is the other downfall(Maybin comes to mind, bulked up for the combine when everyone knew he couldn't keep the weight on) I still to this day will never understand how a guy running a 40 in his underwear propels him up draft boards. Put on the tape, if he looks the part, and has the build, take him.
  12. There's no WR worth taking in the Top 10 to ever justify that selection. If Metcalf had production in college, could run the whole route tree and didn't have drop issues you could make an argument there, but he's red flag city right now so you can't. The risk is too great with the abundance of pass rushers that will be on the board. If you're going to take a pass catcher you take one of the two TE's from Iowa. Offensive line is deep, so taking either Taylor or Dillard at Nine wouldn't be a problem either.
  13. Do you want an solid starter or a chance at a gold jacket? Because you're going to get a potential gold jacket with Devin White. And when you're picking in the Top 10 that's the kind of players you need to get. At least in my opinion.
