  1. S L O W C L A P 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
  2. Let’s be thankful that this team is now good enough that they can win handily despite the refs.
  3. I’d guess that the teams sharing facilities are a big reason why the schedule is so inflexible. The league already has to adapt scheduling for them. Fortunately there aren’t any other large entertainment events this year. As for the extra time to prepare..... I think the advantage is seriously minimized as the stress levels of everyone in the Titans organization is going to be elevated. Stress, lowered sleep quality, mental energy, etc. Plus they still might not get into the facility until Tuesday... Let’s wait and see how this plays out. It might be good for physical injuries, but bad for their mental state and focus. If we’re lucky they come out flat, we go up early, and Tanny has to pass to get back in the game.
  4. No clue. We may see more of that going forward though. Time will tell, but I’m sure McD is adapting his scheme this week after that weakness was exposed.
  5. Hyde actually played that role under Capers in GB after Woodson left. Get a player too big in the role and they can’t cover slot receivers unless they’re a freak athlete. Using Hyde or Poyer as the big nickel creates a hole though.
  6. I can easily see a team like the Steelers, Bucs, Vikings or Saints trading a 2nd for him. He has the talent to be a solid reclamation project and bridge quarterback. Hell, maybe the Bears bail on Mitch and decide to give Darnold a shot to unseat Foles.
  7. There’s always.... https://www.softbillsforsale.com/sale/pied-crow.asp Feel free to mail them crows if Allen keeps this up all year. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  8. They need to start utilizing the ground game when it’s working, especially with a 20+ point lead.
  9. I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that he cracked under pressure and has spend the last 18 hours babbling about how every Dylan song is better when someone else sings it.
  10. Sorry if I wasn’t being clear. I didn’t mean to insinuate that Star is a dominant DT. He is however to have the occasional game where he eats two blockers and flashes (Dallas). He’s also average enough to get his ass handed to him by probowl level offensive linemen. My primary point was that this team needs to either procure a top 5-10 NT/1T or LBers that are more instinctive and disciplined against the run. The latter will likely have a negative impact on the passing defense. Upgrading the 1T is likely the cheapest and simplest “fix” considering it’s generally a value position.
  11. I don’t think they necessarily miss Star. However, Edmunds plays his best when the NT in front of him is playing well. It’s a combination on not having a dominant DT and the limitations/skill sets of our linebackers. I doubt there’s a real fix to our run defense outside of FA or the draft.... just bandaids
  12. Yup. It’s in “fail mary” territory. Fortunately it didn’t cost us a win.
  13. I think I may have mistook your statement for the comment you quoted. I drank a bit more than expected yesterday.... That said, I’ve found that conspiracy types aren’t exactly the most logical or reasonable among us.
  14. Not missing Phillips per say, but they could use a top tier pass rusher and/ penetrator on the D line. Also doesn’t help that Star is out.... I think Edmunds needs a space eater in front of him to function at top level.
  15. O/U was ~47 points with a spread of 2.5.... Vegas doesn’t necessarily make money on who wins the games.
  16. I think what people are missing on the PI calls is that this ref crew likely calls PI heavily. Still no excuse on the INT, but they weren’t just “letting them play” like some ref crews.
  17. That regression is on Gase and the GMs. Horrible coaching and a lack of support are destroying that kid. Great for the Bills, but I feel bad for the kid. If they do take Lawrence I pray they retain Gase and screw up that kids career as well.
  18. Not to mention the increased risk of a knee or Achilles injury
  19. I wouldn’t go so far to say that they were trying to make the rams win..... BUT..... It’s fair to ponder whether the refs were attempting to make sure the game hit the over. 🤷‍♂️
  20. Playing with an injured shoulder and no contact in practice against an offense reliant upon Copperfield play design..... I’m not going to gripe about it this week.
  21. Certainly is, but I figured the Jets will find at least one way to screw up a first round pick. 🤷‍♂️
  22. Jests trade the #1 pick to the Lions for #3, 2021 #2, and 2022 #1.
  23. That Florida earth is fertile soil, especially when it’s been blessed by the football gods
  24. Planted his ass like a cantaloupe.
  25. You’re remembering correctly. Although I’m not sure what percentage of the plays NE did this in. What I do know is that Hyde and Poyer do this often and with minimal communication...... which bodes well. I’m not so sure that it works really well without Edmunds and Milano in the game though.
