  1. Particularly when those injured players happen to be the guys who seal wins with splash plays.
  2. Perhaps he tried to trap the ball because of the injury?
  3. More of an H-back than a player you can put inline.
  4. Howie is taking advantage of the circumstance and pushing his chips into the middle of the table…. Which is the right thing to do with an excellent- but aging - Oline and Dline talent. Kelce, Johnson, Fletcher Cox, and Graham will all most likely be retired after a year or two. They’re all in for the next two seasons. Then if Hurts proves he can’t elevate young talent they’ll probably move on like they did with Wentz.
  5. I think the protection schemes and calls may have been figured out. At the very least they’re not making the right adjustments presnap to counter what defenses are doing. Where all the blame lays is a bit muddy, but that needs to get fixed or this team is in trouble.
  6. Did he? You’re sure he just didn’t see anyone better to run the D after Frazier decided to leave? You’re sure that not having two all pro players and both starting DTs didn’t influence the effectiveness of the defense? I can see an argument for an offensive HC instead of a defensive HC, but you’ll have to explain why McD calling defensive plays is asinine. Lol. Missed the autocorrect. 🤷‍♂️
  7. F it. Sell the team to Bob Jovi and ship the whole team to Toronto. 🙄
  8. They would have, but that’s not the reality right now. The offense needs to start games better, and give the defense time to make adjustments and personnel decisions instead of letting them get tired out and battered.
  9. Should we all buy matching track suits & Nikes, make some punch, and wait for a comet?
  10. Seems like their protection packages have been figured out.
  11. Honestly, I could see this as a move to scare the owners of poorly performing franchises. Nothing wrong with dropping to the teens and going to a decently run team that had an unlucky injury year, or even better going to a team that’s historically well run. Be funny as hell though if he ended up on the Packers and they give him “stock”.
  12. This is exactly why I’d like them to start the game with Murray. The pass protection coupled with the power run threat from 12 formations leads to slow linebacker play, especially with play action IDK about the old germanys…. But I can definitely verify that if those gennys got a chance to warm up you were playing with fire. 😂
  13. I actually have a jackalope I bought in South Dakota mounted on the wall 😂
  14. No sourcing armadillo eggs. I’m gonna smoke them in an old Weber kettle just like I did with cream cheese and stuffed sausage last night. Sometimes you just gotta do it yourself. 🤷‍♂️
  15. Armadillo eggs. Smoked the cream cheese for them last night.
  16. 72 hours or more for me to feel proper. I’d have left Tuesday night
  17. They mentioned Poyer being out at the beginning of the game. No need after that because Rapp and DH played great. Romo mentioned Von in the middle of the game with a “and this is without Miller” comment. Kind of lost in the shuffle with Romo’s adorations for Milano though. Props to them for pointing out how impactful Milano and Bernard are though.
  18. Difference is that Allen, Mahomes, Rodgers, and Herbert have the arm talent to sling it without using their lower body. UCL on guys who don’t have to use their lower body can be more impactful. Either way they have to change the kinematics of their throwing motion which leads to issues. That said, JA17 should have gotten the benefit of the doubt, but certain folks in the media wanted to maintain predraft narratives for some reason. 🤷‍♂️
  19. Allen trusting the supporting cast. We notice the backs and Kincaid the most in the equation. However, the biggest change is Allen trusting the interior line. He didn’t in preseason or the Jets game even when they were holding up. Now that he’s trusting them he’s climbing the pocket and allowing Dawkins and Brown to run ends around the loop then escaping through the C and D gaps, pressing the LOS - forcing defensive players to commit - and throwing easy completions with space for YAC. Best example of this from the Fish game is the pass to Cook on the sideline, but it happened several other times as well. If you go back and look at prime Rodgers and peak Mahomes it is similar. The best plays come when the tackles can ride DEs in a loop and the interior holds up so they can escape out of the C and D gaps. Go back and watch some Rodgers tape with Sitton and Lang at guard and you’ll see the same efficiency.
  20. If that was intended as a Reggie Bush 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼. If it was a double entendre that also references a Barry Sanders playoff game…. I salute 🫡 you
  21. Even more amazing was that he could have thrown to Knox and got about the same amount of yardage.
