Only one game was close and McDermott cost us a home AFC Championship game and best shot at a SuperBowl in 30 years. Last year really wasn't close. If KC doesn't fumble at the goal line it's a two score loss. It is fair to say our defense was hobbled last year. Bills can beat this team in the playoffs. Just need Allen's absolute best performance and probably a little luck.

Johnson Benford Quality corners are hard to find and worth paying. Everyone else is replaceable. Dawkins is an above average LT and Rousseau is not a dominant DE. Bernard and Cook are very very good to great players but are the easiest positions to replace. If someone had Bernard on their list of untouchable's I wouldn't argue against it. I just don't value MLB as much as CB, DE, or DT. Before the season started I would have added Torrence but he is having a sophomore slump and it the worst starting OL on the team right now.

Besides the names on the helmets, the QBs, and the coaches both these teams have had significant changes since meeting in the playoffs even from last year but certainly from the 13 sec game. New year, new rosters, hopefully a better outcome in January if we play them again

Agree The counter is the Bills have one win over a team with a winning record. Chiefs have beaten 4 teams with winning records and one that is 0.500. We will know alot more about the Bills in the next 4 weeks.

Dodson played better the more time he got. He's better than Morrow, Buffalo Joe, and probably on par with Spector. He can play inside or outside for the Bills. He would have been better depth than what we have now.

Two SuperBowl appearances and a Championship. 11 trips to the playoffs, 3 AFC Championship games, and 17 years without a losing season. He was broken a long time ago. Last year he had the highest INT/Attempt of any QB in the league.

Moving him to safety would be better than taking him off the field. Again this was with the premise that McD would play some 4-3 at times with Milano back. He tried it against Baltimore for a few plays with Morrow and he got burned. My guess is he will stick to his nickel base.

That ten yard line rule went away a long long time ago. The kicking team is too good at downing the ball inside the 5. You risk having the ball downed very very close to the goal line. However you do see some guys try to fake catching the ball away from where it will actually land, or instead of being a punt catcher they just block the guy nearest them to allow the ball to hopefully go into the endzone.

Don't forget the Browns and Jets. Me too You forgot Diggs. Despite what is said here, he helped too.

I think it is 4 calendar weeks not 4 games. But he seemed like a guy that was going to be out longer than 4 weeks. Sorry. I was wrong it is 4 games but 4 calendar weeks once designated to return to be added back to roster.

The problem with punt return stats is the difference between the very best and the worst is like 5 yards. Anything in the middle is like a 2 yard average difference. That difference doesn't make up for fielding a punt on your own goal line or fumbling the ball. Josh could fall forward and pick up the 2 yard difference. I'd be happy if he just fair caught the ball cleanly the rest of the year. When it is wet, cold, and raining the 4 yard punt return and the inevtiable 10 yard holding penalty is not worth the risk.

Nobody wants to say it but LaPorta is better and Beane could have drafted him without trading up wasting a 4th round pick. LaPorta has 14.6 YPC this year. But, we also don't know how much of this is Brady vs Kincaid. So far he seems to be running too many five yard out patterns instead of challenging the mid to deep parts of the field. Is this because we have no deep speed at WR?

67 and 72 catches for about 875 yards each season...with Alex Smith as QB. Almost 3 YPC better than Kincaid without a HOF QB. He did have Andy Reid though.

Would love to see that against Baltimore and the Chargers if we face them. Move Taron to FS and put Hamlin on bench.

Pure speculation but is the alignment like this because Hamlin was supposed to blitz to the right side of the offense. He ran up into the hole very quickly so much so he ran himself out of the play. Wonder if he was crashing to that side on a blitz and thus you have Johnson and Hamlin on that side. Maybe Colts got lucky pulling Nelson to that side and blowing open a huge hole.
