I loved the Edmunds pick even if they gave up picks to get him. He should have been an All-Pro for years. I think almost everyone would agree Bernard in the 3rd round was a shock. His first game as a rookie was awful. Bernard is everything Edmunds was not. He's instinctual and makes plays. Edmunds almost never missed any time. Bernard has been injured two years in a row. A Bernard and Milano combo would be great if they get the pre-London Milano version. If he is a shell of himself then keep playing Williams.

If Josh just ran and got 3 yards, the Bills probably still win that game. At a minimum that is 3 more plays and I think Chiefs only had two TOs. At worst you are probably looking at a 5 point game with about a minute to play. Of course KC can score a TD in that time. And who is to say Bills don't get two more first downs and just kill the clock and win without even scoring. My only criticism of that game is not kicking a FG on 4th and 3. I thought at that moment 3 points was more important, especially with the missed PAT.

I don't think passing on 16 of 29 first downs is running every time. I'd have to check the definition of every but I don't think it means what you think it means.

Probably best game of the year for Torrence against his toughest assignment. Jones won a couple of battles but Josh was able to elude the sack. Jones is an absolute beast. He's going to win some rushes from time to time.

Is the “Bills window is closed” talk finally over?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty sure even the biggest pessimists on this board said with Allen the window is always open. To me the issue is the win now mentality. Getting Cooper and getting Shakir back healthy changed everything this year. Beane realized either due to injury or just lack of talent the WR group wasn't good enough. He made the trade he failed to make in 2021. Still would have liked to see him add a pass rusher but with Cooper and getting some guys back healthy after the bye, they have a legit chance at a Championship run. -
You can't just give up running the ball. And I will give you one example why. Bootleg roll out pass to a wide open Morris. That play doesn't almost work if you abandon the run game. Sticking to the run game keeps the defense honest and helps the play action pass game. While they did not get any long runs in the run game, I don't recall any negative runs either. Lots of 2 yard gains. With a more vertical pass game threat, Brown at RT, and playing on a wet/frigid surface where Defense will have disadvantage footing wise, some of those 2 yard gains will be 4 and 6 yard gains in the playoffs As for creativity, not sure what you mean. They ran out of several different sets and even ran a toss play. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall another toss play all year. I would like to see some more runs to the outside but for whatever reason Brady seems to save those for the red zone only. They are running far more plays from under center than they ever did with Daboll or Dorsey.

He made some nice plays with catches downfield. Early in the year everything was at or behind the LOS. Seems like he was used differently last night. Maybe because Coleman was out. Hopefully they recognize this and still use him downfield. Getting Cooper, Coleman, and Samuel to stretch the field will make it much easier for Shakir, Knox, Kincaid, and the RBs underneath.

The left hand injury was against the Cardinals in week one. The right hand/wrist was a couple weeks ago ( can't remember which game) where he hit right hand on a helmet. Not sure if he reinjured it last night as he was not hit on the throw where he was wincing. Two weeks of rest will be good for this entire team!
