  1. Hauschka is an interesting case. He missed wide not short on his long field goal attempts. Probably correctable. Finished the year strong.
  2. What direction is Ford blocking in the video? Please find the part of the rule where it says it is ok to block toward your endzone if the guy sees it?
  3. See here is an example. The rule has nothing to do with the defender seeing him. It about which direction the blocking player is facing. You can’t block towards your own endzone.
  4. Because this board is filled with people posting that the NFL has chosen which teams are going to win. And that the refs are biased for one team over another. Refs make mistakes all the time and I call that out. Why not be objective and lay the blame where it should, on Ford?
  5. It was a penalty. But I agree a fine is unwarranted. We see a lot worse go unfined. NFL sending a message that the officials got the call correct.
  6. Allen got better in year 2. He needs to get better in year 3. The entire offense needs to get better. I think much of it will happen simply by better TE play, a new WR, and probably moving Ford to guard and getting another veteran OT.
  7. No pass rush. In fact most of the QB sacks were coverage sacks. You are looking at the wrong part of the defense that needs to be fixed.
  8. See which way Allen is running. See the back of Ford’s jersey. It’s a penalty. Learn the god dam rules and stop complaining about the officiating
  9. He got suspended for a game. Meaning he missed 1/16th of his salary. Jesus Christ this board kills me with how uninformed people are
  10. The line fell apart in the 4th qtr and overtime. Singletary missed blitz pick up. Allen choked. Just about everything unraveled. That is on the coaching staff. On to next year. Schedule will be tougher but roster will be better too.
  11. He is a gadget guy. Foster will be gone. They will sign or draft a #1 and my guess is Duke will make the team as #4
  12. First round draft pick. Need a dominant OLB that is young. I would rather Milano goes to the bench in the nickel than a truly dominant pass rusher. I still think Edmunds is the guy that should kick outside but I doubt that will happen.
  13. Assuming Bills find a true #1 WR, Duke will be lucky to get 25 catches next year. You are not sitting a new #1, Brown, or Beasley. And there are only so many throws in a game that will also got to two tight ends and the backs. As a #4 WR he would be extremely to get 2-3 targets a game in a 5 wide set- where he would likely be one of the last options. I just can not see Beane not adding a WR to this team. If it's a veteran, Duke might hardly ever see the field. If it's a rookie it may take some time to work him into the offense.
  14. Yes. You are correct. I hope he uses a tag on Phillips. Far more difficult to replace a quality DT than it will be to get a DE that is not a star as a pass rusher. I like Shaq a lot but he is not the pass rusher this defense so desperately needs. Ideal scenario they bring back both and draft a OLB in the first round (along with AJ Green in FA).
  15. I wouldn't trust anything he says about the future as he never tells the truth nor should he. No reason to give away any strategy to the media. I was impressed with the self criticism about 2018. He really finally admitted he did not put a team on the filed that could win especially with the o-line. I applaud him for that. I look forward to seeing the moves he makes in the near future
  16. He's great player. Tough catch. He could have made it was my thought at the time. Still very difficult. But I've posted many times, NFL players make miraculous plays on a routine basis. That is what it takes to win. Look at the throw and catch between Cousins and Theilin. Almost zero margin for error. Bills need a couple of those plays a game. And those plays are easier if you have size and speed. Bills need to get bigger at WR and bigger/faster at OLB/DE.
  17. He doesn't have near the speed of DK. Ran a 4.73 40 which is elite LT speed not #1 WR speed. He didn't have more than a half a yard of separation most of the game. They would be foolish not to bring him back but he is not the answer for WR #1.
  18. Good god, let it go. If that was Roberts that did that there is no way you would be fine with the refs awarding a TD to Texans. So sick and tired of the officiating comments on this board. Half of the posters don't even know the rules or how they are applied. I thought the fix was in for the Patriots? They didn't make it out of the first round. Who does the NFL want to win now? Please declare it before the games this weekend.
  19. Stop whining. Ford's block was illegal and unnecessary. Same with Hughes. Three guys had a chance to block #41 and no one did. We choked and it was no one's fault but our own. Time to move on.
  20. The missed block on #41 by 3 guys. Josh runs for 20+ yards there maybe even scores. Knox was the moat culpable followed by Feliciano I think. Morse was the last guy of the three but he was the least in position to make the block. That's what I recall off the top of my head. Medium range FG to win would have been the worst outcome if #41 is blocked While I agree with your Morse season assessment, I think it was Knox's play to make Not true. He is a solid player but he's not that great in coverage and he actually didn't make that many game changing plays this year. He is a fine weak side linebacker but the need a much better attacking linebacker to replace Lorax.
  21. Wade will get a long look. Don’t see what they see in Dodson at 6’1” 215 LB unless they want to develop into a safety. Wallace and Foster only significant PS players they have signed in the last two years and Foster flamed out this year. Odds are slim to get significant contributions from any of these 10. But who knows.
