  1. He was, but if I remember correctly, it got better when Brady took over, and it was def on in the playoffs. Everything on offense was off in that first half last year under Dorsey. But does that mean we wouldn't want a guy with That skill set on the roster? I really didn't understand the rebuttal. If anyone thinks that Thomas will be a bust or sucks, I totally respect that opinion.
  2. Except when it matters like the playoffs
  3. I seem to always land on Thomas. Best size/speed combo in the draft. Also really good hands. His skill set seems to really match what we lack, and complement Josh Allen. It's almost criminal with Josh's arm, that we don't already have a guy on the roster with this skill set.
  4. Solid/Accurate pick in my opinion. Albert Breer was just on the Rich Eisen show, and shared that the NYG was spending a lot of time with Odunze.
  5. I think Dejean is an all around good football player, but when I watch him, he seems like a 3rd round guy to me. If the guy doesn't play a premium position, than he better be special if your using a 1 on him. Good player yes, but I don't see special. If there isn't a WR we like at 28, invest in the trenches or move down.
  6. I know it's her uncle, but still pretty cool. I didn't make the connection, but totally remember that dude. Loveable meathead....body by Jake guy.
  7. Even the best have to get lucky. I was just listening to a podcast, I forgot who the guest was, but they said that KC really wanted Paxton Lynch, and attempted to trade in front of Denver to get him, but was unable to. Had they been successful, no Mahomes or Chris Jones.
  8. Good for him! Happy for Tre, and glad to see him get this deal.
  9. I agree, he has done well in the later half of the draft. I also agree with BPA at DL. I could also see them falling in love with a guy like Cooper Dejean (CB/S hybrid)
  10. Beane in the past, has said that WR is one of the toughest positions for him to evaluate. It may of been after the Diggs trade, and why they chose the trade route, despite it being a very good WR class that year. I just hope, that doesn't keep him away from drafting one early. If we don't come away with a WR in round 1 or 2, I think 90% of the board will be disappointed, myself included. He'll obviously never say, but I'm sure Diggs's antics are probably wearing thin on him, and might be motivating him to find his successor.
  11. I personally like Nabors a bit more.
  12. I sure hope Edwards was signed for the Rapp role, and that we're not done. We lost Hyde and Poyer. To replace him with Edwards only, who's a bit of a part time player, would be underwhelming at this point.
  13. Definitely screams QB, but seems like at least one more move is needed, to assure they have a shot at one of the top guys. The question to me is, are any of the teams at the top, willing to pass on a QB and move down?
  14. I also would prefer using that money on Simmons, who is someone that would play every down vs. a rotational piece. I do like Armstead as a player, and do think we need a good 3rd DT, considering the injuries the last few years. Ed with the ankle issues 2 years ago, and DQ with the pec last year. They must have a plan at safety, we have nothing there. Rapp is best suited as the 3rd guy up, like he was last year.
  15. He was not old for a Center. In the 5 years he's been here he's played in 17,16,13,17, and 14 games. Pretty durable if you ask me. Is there some concussion history, yes. Draft and develop a guy, and than make your move. It's doing it without a replacement yet, that really sucks. And I'm sorry, as good as this regime has been, I don't have a lot of confidence when it comes to the oline. It took them way too long to get it right in the 1st place, only to tear it down after 1 year. Passing on Humphrey, drafting Ford, trading teller.
  16. I think we can be excited at the potential the youth movement could possibly bring, but also celebrate what these men have done for our team. I think we also need to mention Hyde as well. That being said, I don't agree with the Morse release. We finally fixed the line, only to make it weaker in 2 spots with one move. Morse was still playing at a high level, and I don't see why we couldn't restructure or add 1-2 years to his deal. Unless we have big plans in FA, and use that on a game changer, which I doubt. I guess we will see.
  17. Can't restructure Von given his age. No time left to kick the can down the road.
  18. Hate this move. We finally got our Oline right, and you immediately start to dismantle it. How about we add a WR, but otherwise leave our offense alone. The defense is what's been a colossal failure in the playoffs each year, and could be completely blown up for all I care.
  19. I don't agree. The fact that the Chiefs jumped us and took Trent McDuffie, and Elam has been a bust, is still very fresh in our minds. Plus BB tends to get itchy, and I'm willing to bet he doesn't let it happen again, if this draft plays out similarly.
  20. Easy solution, draft both. HAHA.....one can dream.
  21. 1.Bryan Thomas 2. Mitchell 3. Tez Walker I Want size and speed.
  22. I told my son as we were leaving the Bills game, that I bet he's on the juice. Looked like a declining version of himself all year, and all of a sudden found the fountain of youth for the playoffs
  23. WR is one of the harder positions to scout. Beane is on record as saying as much, I believe the year we traded for Diggs, and you had that loaded WR class. Perfect example of this, Eagles and Patriots, who have had a lot of success drafting over the years, but have really struggled when it comes to drafting WRs. For this reason, I'm afraid Beane waits until early day 3 before selecting one. Hopefully not. Outside of size, weight and speed. 1. Can he separate against man coverage? 2. Can he find the open holes in zone? I believe this second part is the most critical, because it speaks to the players understanding of coverages. We all see the amount of disconnect this year between Josh and Gabe.
  24. I like it, but I'm really hoping we have a shot at drafting Brian Thomas, but I do think your board is accurate, in that he goes higher. Seems like someone that will also test well and shoot up the board. Legette to me is the biggest boom or bust pick in this draft. Equally scares/excites me.
  25. That's exactly why I like Brian Thomas from LSU.
