  1. Congresswoman Nancy Mace from South Carolina. Never heard of her. She was on the panel last night on Bill Maher's show. Wow is she annoying. Proudly announced, at age 45, that she is on her 3rd husband. I can see why! LOL
  2. Far, far too many to list. A few of my favorites off the top of my head: Apocalypse Now (with creepy synthesized music composed by Francis Ford Coppola himself, and his dad!) Bladerunner (the score from Vangelis makes the movie what it is) Star Wars and sequels (Can't imagine this franchise without John Williams' masterpiece) Gladiator (Hans Zimmer is one of the better guys out there currently writing cinematic music) The Godfather (the music from Nino Rota has become a part of American culture) The Mission (Ennio Morricone is one of the all time greats)
  3. We seem to do poorly on these *DREADED* Saturday afternoon games. I hate these things. Hockey is a night game. The Ducks do suck, so there's that. I think we'll be OK.
  4. Do you own stock in the NFL or something? Or that's right, it's privately owned by billionaires, not named SoCal Deek. The only reason to have these games is for them to "Grow the game" which means make more money than they already do. In the process, we lose a game we can easily see, the team is greatly disadvantaged with the travel, time zone change, and interference in their regimented weekly preparation for games, and it's all so a bunch of American tourists and ex-pats living in England, plus about 4,000 curious Brits, can watch a football game. It sucks!
  5. CORRECT! Diggs all day long, if we can't have Josh as the answer. If we win, it'll be b/c we outscored these guys in the 30s. And to that, Josh and Diggs will have to have huge days.
  6. You forgot point 6! 6. Are actually more likely to be available to work in non-WNY locales because the economy of WNY can't support them there. LOL
  7. Ha! That's the story of this forum! People are here to participate in conversations with differing people with differing opinions, but then 90% of the talk is in-fighting among Bills fans because they don't agree with one another. It's a bit odd, isn't it?
  8. They were just talking on the radio about how badly Ticketmaster screwed up the ticket sales in Atlanta. I guess they leaked a purchase time code or some such that screwed a lot of legitimate season ticket holders out of their slot to get tickets. Thanks for that!
  9. LOL; three OL men is WAY more of a loss than Von. Being home may not be a huge advantage; I think Josh would play better on the road. Josh is gong to be so frigging tight and jittery when this thing starts. You can almost predict one big mistake from him until he calms down...let's hope he gets away it.
  10. You blew it up! ***** you all to hell! One of my favorite movies and scenes of all time, no doubt.
  11. As I keep saying, if a "big name" has to be out for this game, Miller is my choice all day long.
  12. Well wait a little bit. They are going to get killed tomorrow.
  13. EF YOU NFL! They will suck the UK for every nickel they can get, using the Bills as their pawn along the way. We happen to be a very popular team right now--why not prostitute us out to the UK and see if we can't turn billions in profits into tens of billions in profits. They'll keep doing this crap until they are all dead, or the world has converted to NFL football---which ain't gonna happen.
  14. It's "affected" and this is ridiculous. Are you suggesting he's afraid to run around because Damar's heart stopped?
  15. ...right, because everyone in the Bills organization is glued to ESPN, and their mindset is totally dictated by what talking meatheads on TV say about a given game. They should be feeling a TON of pressure...and that's because there's a lot there. Huge playoff game against a very solid team with a QB more or less as good as ours, and it's at home. I think we would play better on the road TBH.
  16. We weren't expecting the Fish to lose by 3 in a tense, close game, made that way SOLELY through the Bills own huge mistakes and sloppy football...which is probably now to be expected. The whole "division rival" thing is over played. Look at the stats in this game! We should have won by 21.
  17. I am by no means a Dorsey hater, but if here were to get this gig, I'd be perfectly fine with it. I don't think he represents ANYTHING as an OC that can't be relatively easily replaced, and probably improved.
  18. ...and yet he will kick around the league from team to team for the next 20 years. It's how the NFL operates. Just watch!
  19. This is the game a bunch of us have been warning fans about for 8 or 9 weeks now. At some point, our sloppy "Hey, I'll take it anyway" wins were always going to come back to bite us in the butt, once we ran into a good enough team in the playoffs. That day is this Sunday. HOWEVER, we could get lucky and the Bengals could be off their game too, also making mistakes... OR, 2) we could FINALLY put it all together and play to the best of our abilities. Either could result in a Bills win. No one is going to know a THING about how this is going to play out until the actual game unfolds on Sunday. Though I guess that's always true...
  20. I think this is likely a very popular opinion right now, but it's not right. He's not good enough to do it all by himself anymore, but he's much better STILL than a journeyman. He would/will be great in Miami with their receivers. I actually think this is where he'll end up for this and a bunch of other reasons. The downside is we don't need him in our division again! The upside is the Bills/Miami rivalry would be as big as EVER if he goes there. And I am getting aroused just thinking about cheering for Bills players to physically hurt Brady again! So there's that! Nah, the guy is the fiercest competitor in the history of the league! He is one of the type who will have to be TOLD to leave, when he gets cut and no one signs him. He'll NEVER walk away if he still thinks playing is an option, especially with the divorce. That's my 2 cents.
  21. If that's true, wow, that's bad.
  22. Of course it's not going to be up to Hyde individually. It will be a huge group decision made by about 6 people, and the conversation won't even start until he's fully medically cleared to play and the coaching staff is convinced he's up to speed and won't be a liability on the field. You can argue Tre White came back too soon, based purely on his performance. Here's how it will work: if there's any possible way Hyde can go, and and be an improvement over what we have now, he'll be out there. The season is on the line here.
  23. If what you write here is correct, that's entirely on coaching. It's their job to make Josh the best he can be and to wipe out bad habits. I still can't believe they haven't impressed on him the importance of holding onto the ball correctly when he runs. He holds it "loaf of break" style in one hand, then waves his huge arm all around....3 o'clock, noon, 9 o'clock, back to 3'clock. Now wonder he has been a fumble machine this year.
  24. When we fail to make the playoffs, or even engage in a seriously close playoff push, think back to January 17th, when we took a 3-1 lead into the 3rd period against the worst team in hockey and came away with 1 point and not 2. Just can't play like this and expect to actually get back in it.
  25. Would it have been too easy for you to simply ignore it if you think it's unnecessary? I guess so.
