  1. Every other opponent is definitely NOT inferior....in fact, the next 3 teams we play (if we get that far) can all beat us badly if we don't play our "A" game. But I agree, not beating ourselves is the key; that's just another way of saying "stop playing sloppy football." The problem is we've been doing that for like 8 games now.
  2. If you want to B word about TV commercials during NFL games, I am right here to agree with you. But you made a mistake in your post. You said "it has killed the game." No it hasn't. It's HORRIBLE, and it does prohibit the viewer from getting a sense of immersion in the game, like you are actually watching an event. It's more of a constant stream of commercials interrupted by a few moments of football now and again. But obviously it hasn't killed the game. When viewership drops substantially, guess what? The commercial will be reigned back in. What I can't stand in particular is how they are now realizing they can squeeze a few more dimes of ad revenue out of doing baby "commercials" while technically NOT at a commercial break. They stay with the game, but put graphics on the screen and the play by play guy reads an ad off a card...then they go back to discussing the game. Sometimes they even run a prepared commercial video that lasts 15 seconds or whatever... So the "commercials" are definitely NOT limited to commercial breaks. My advice to you, brother: record all NFL games and watch them tape delayed. Wait about an hour to start, and FF through all breaks, delays, and halftime BS. You'll finish about at the same time anyway, but with no commercials and delays. I did that all weekend for the non-Bills games.
  3. I totally agree it's time for Josh to run like crazy; every game is time for him to rush like crazy. I've been saying for 5 years and it's still true: the most dangerous thing we do is a Josh Allen running play. O line will not "pick it up" with a quick gut check. They are very much league average and we all know about how well they play. They'll have a rough day. It's funny that after the Demar game, we find ourselves right back to where we were...only with a change of stadium. I agree we'll need to score a TON, but that's not the key to this one. We need to keep the self-inflicted wounds to ZERO for this one, and we haven't done that in like 8 or 9 games now. I lost count. You know, the kind that we suffered all day yesterday and that almost let Miami win a game in which they were dominated on the stat sheet. More of that next week and we're done.
  4. Didn't get that PM. Is your year of birth really that much of a secret? I don't even know who the hell you are! Hard to do much with a year and no further information. I was born the day before you and I was wondering if we were born in the same year. I'm guessing we are about the same age.
  5. Josh isn't reading your post, and he doesn't care about it. Also, what choice do you have other than to "ride or die" with Josh Allen? You're not involved in the decision making processes affecting this team. Just a little dose of reality for you on a Monday morning. πŸ€—
  6. like I said, don't need to take my word for it. Just wait a few days.
  7. Quite true! But that's because, at least for a portion of them, they succumb to some sort of strange psychological phenomenon whereby they associate themselves (the fan) with the team or player specifically. It's all one thing in their mind, so a criticism of the player/team amounts to a criticism of the fan. These people need to take a step back and gain a little clarity. They are NOT on the team and the team doesn't know who they are, or care about them. AT ALL. It's kind of fun to study though.
  8. The correct answer is not presented in the poll. There should be a third choice: send to Nextmanup for immediate and proper disposal.
  9. No "g" in his last name. He sounds about the same to me. But I'm not one of his many haters here.
  10. B/C McD and staff are extremely conservative with player selections. How about Elam? Where has he been all year?
  11. Don't forget the geniuses who were telling me, a few hours ago, that we will be playing Jacksonville, not the Bengals. At least that happy horse doo doo is done with now.
  12. For real? I thought this was an incredibly good/fun game to watch...even if painful. For me, the least enjoyable game would have been the one where we were ahead 48-0 at halftime. And then we win with backups playing the 2nd half 56-10. I would have TAKEN that and even VOTED for that, but it wouldn't have been a fun game to watch!
  13. LOL. Not true. You lost me right there. Any other fan-isms for us? Maybe today was a trap game? Did the Bills look past the Fish to next week's opponent?
  14. We are a good team. Our point differential and W/L record tells us that. But what we have seen for much of the year is a good team rough around the edges. Sloppy play, mistakes, poor execution, poor coaching, poor in-game tactical decisions...it's the finer points. But those are what should defeat you against a top opponent on its game. Starting right now, our path should be something like: Cincinnati, KC, and Eagles or 49ers. The way we have played is likely not going to be good enough to beat any of those, let alone all 3. That's what's hard to take in a game like this, even with the win. This isn't the old Bills where we are just happy to be here and hope for the best. This team has been of the best, if not THE best, team in the NFL the last 3 seasons...and we have set our sights on a SB win. So yeah that's lofty expectations, but with it comes lofty needs and demands! Gotta be better! Totally disagree with that. Totally. This game today was about so much more "wrong" than Von being out.
  15. That's because you were thinking we might win a SB this year, and you know the way we have played for the last 8 or 9 games, plus today, is in no way good enough to do that. And it hurts.
  16. He had stomach flu; he was supposed to go 2 games ago when Comrie played.
  17. This has been the story of the Bills season for like the last 8 or maybe 9 games. The goal here is winning a Super Bowl. That's a long road. We were ALWAYS going to need to play much better and smarter, if we were going to win it all. Next week against the Bengals is where push will come to shove. Either we deliver a gem that is inconsistent with who we have been for several months now, or our season ends. I am hoping for a huge surprise, but not expecting one.
  18. We won't win next week playing this way. No need to listen to me, wait a few days.
  19. I don't think "lack of respect" enters into it at all. I think that's the sort of thing fans say. I do think this was un utterly mistake filled game on all fronts (coaching, coordinating, Josh's decision making) and execution was poor a lot of the time. This team has not played championship winning football for practically the second half of the season. The buck stops next week with the Bengals, unless we somehow find a way to unlock the best version of the Bills. It's been about 8 or 9 games now and it hasn't happened so far, so...
  20. 7-7 with 3:00 left in first quarter...I'm hoping for more scoring. I just want a close, good game; no interest whatsoever in who wins.
  21. He missed a lot of plays too. He's nowhere near worth the money he will command this offseason. I just pray Beane sees it that way...he's a smart guy, so I have confidence he will. πŸ‘
