  1. Any why wouldn't they move a bunch of key players to snag him? I'll breathe lightly when this guy signs somewhere outside our division....even if he gets zero respect at this forum! Along with pretty much every other QB in the league not named Josh Allen.
  2. Listening to pre-game show on Gr-55. Eric Wood and the guys are discussing whether or not Damar will be involved in the game. They said they've heard nothing in terms of a pre-game type thing, and Eric highly doubts he will be on the sideline with the team. Could Damar be at the game in the stands or a box? "Possibly" says Eric Wood.
  3. Currently sun and clouds in OP, temp = 25 degrees. Should be mostly sunny and around 30 degrees for the bulk of the game. No precipitation at all. I guess they pretty much accurately predicted this. Sounds like a nice, but chilly, day for football.
  4. LOL; there's some truth to some of his comments, but I love Al, though he is starting to get old. All great sports announcers at some point get old enough where the mental side of things starts to slip first, and it shows. That's usually when it's time to go. The last few years, RJ was mispronouncing and flat out using WRONG NAMES calling Sabres games. Bob Cole was horrific his last 3 or 4 years on CBC.... And those are 2 of the greatest announcers of all time. Thanks for posting that! I always knew he had a "fake" Americanized name...but couldn't figure it out. Ivan Bilicic. From Croatia. Interesting!
  5. I feel the same as well. I have zero concerns or worries of any kind.
  6. Well if he can do that, I don't know why they couldn't have a little "tribute" to the guy pre-game...just an opportunity to rev up the fans, and get Demar out at midfield and let him soak up all the cheering and love he'd be getting from 70,000 people. I'm sure he'll get that "that day" at some point. Just not sure it's today.
  7. He's another great example of how poorly NFL teams scout, and why I have said for the last 20 years that any team without a QB (Like the Bills back then) should be getting a new one every frigging year (or more!) until they find one. Just take one from somewhere. Maybe he'll turn out to be Brock Purdy. Or Tom Brady. or Josh Allen. LOL; folks at this forum are threatened and for some reason feel a need to attack ANY and ALL QBs around the league not named Josh Allen. It's some sort of odd, primitive, defense mechanism. Kind of a mother hen thing I think.
  8. He's from Pompano Beach, just a bit north of Ft. Lauderdale. The guy grew up a short drive down I-95 to where the Dolphins play now! It'd be a home town type experience for him.
  9. Forget about it and forget about gambling altogether; it's just a form of giving your money away. It amounts to an entertainment expense; you spend money, you have fun, your short lived experience is gone forever and you are out the money. Like a nice dinner out, a football game ticket, a 7 day trip to a foreign country, etc...
  10. I'm guessing way too early for that sort of thing. Though that day is coming. Might be home opener next year.
  11. Define what "single" means in this context, please. Otherwise it's impossible to answer.
  12. Bengals win this one easy. Buckle up, Bills fans, for a major war against Cincinnati next week in Orchard Park. We'll need the motor firing on all 12 cylinders for that one! (And yes, that's a 250 GTO! Why not?)
  13. It's not that he's done; it's that you haven't heard him with a competent color guy all year long. Kirk Herbstreit is incredibly bland and boring; it's how he does college football too; he's totally wrong for Al as a partner. And then last night we got possibly the worst color commentating performance I have ever seen for an NFL football game. What total meathead making 7 figures at NBC thinks it's a good idea to keep promoting f-ing Tony Dungy in broadcasting roles? He has ZERO charisma, he has ZERO personality, he says NOTHING That is relevant, ever, and most of the time he adopts his favorite strategy: SAYING NOTHING. I've never heard so much dead air in a football broadcast. OMG....I honestly can't believe Dungy survived his first few studio appearances back in the day before Sunday Night football. He is totally wrong for TV. Tony Romo and Al would be magic.
  14. What's that all about? The weather isn't even really bad by Buffalo in winter standards. People assuming it will be a lousy blowout? It's the playoffs man! GET OUT THERE PEOPLE!
  15. Let's hope not! Let them get Brady instead! https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/news/simms-dolphins-are-no-1-team-to-watch-in-lamar-sweepstakes
  16. That's what Miami should be thinking. For us, it should be about fine tuning the machine into playoff form and dropping a 30 bomb on the Fish. They are decimated and using a 3rd string QB.
  17. Just finished watching this game on tape-delay. I am SPEECHLESS that the Chargers--yes, even the Chargers--LOST THIS GAME. The play of the game was the coach's decision to go for 2 extra points on the last TD at the end, setting the score up for a win scenario instead of a tie scenario. That is EXACTLY what he did back a few years ago in the Super Bowl with Philly when they took down Brady, BB, and the Patriots. PLAY TO WIN. I hope McDermott is taking notes!
  18. Millions of dollars, no job responsibilities, and he's headed to Thailand. I can't imagine what he might do to pass the time! Vietnam has been on the hip and trendy list for a few years now. I have a number of friends who have gone there.
  19. So we have answers of 0, 1, and 2. Do I hear 3?
