  1. Finally watched Episode 1 of "Squid Game" on Netflix last night. I liked it well enough, though it took a long time to get to the actual "game" part of the show. Is everyone else watching this?
  2. Funny you write that; I was thinking I'd lick the sweat out of her butt crack. I guess that's about the same.
  3. But it's still the astroturf stuff, isn't it? The entire "floor" of the stadium is covered in it. Seems like you would damage it, even if players aren't playing on it. And then how do they get heavy snowfall off the field where they DO play? It's an interesting problem I think. Maybe that fake grass is tougher than I think!
  4. "Glamorous lingerie blogger". 😂 😲 🤷‍♂️
  5. I'll take the extra week of football! The season is very short as it is and the more it's stretched out, the better. Next, I want the league to get rid of 2 if not 3 pre-season games, and start the regular season EARLIER too. Get it to a 20 game season. The NFLPA will try to stop it, but I think that's an inevitability at some point.
  6. How do back loaders move large quantities of snow around without destroying the field?
  7. For a kid this would be a great deal and an interesting experience. Do they have an age limit? Like 16 + maybe?
  8. They're too tough of a newspaper; they don't need a dome.
  9. This thread will linger forever, get longer and longer, and dive deeper and deeper into obscurity. 🤫
  10. This is why winning in the NFL is tough: parity. If Josh Allen doesn't slip, makes the first down at the end of the Tennessee game, and we go on to win with a TD (all highly likely in a slightly different universe) we are the NO. 1 seed in the AFC right now. And some people want to rip down our roster and build a "tough" team... 😳
  11. The offense should shine in this game, find its form, and throw a lot of points on the board. So take your pick of those guys--they are all going to have a big day.
  12. This puts an interesting spin on why Tampa Bay has failed to formally cut him from the team. They claimed they were "considering their options" or some such. Some thought they wanted to keep him off the market so he couldn't be snatched up by a rival like Green Bay this playoff season. Maybe they are afraid to cut him for fear of legal retribution, knowing they don't exactly have clean hands.
  13. Lambeau holds over 81,000 people too! But you don't see that stadium at less than capacity, or so it seems, especially for playoff games when the temperature is in the NEGATIVE!
  14. Little bit of both, apparently.
  15. What is this, the daily affirmation thread?
  16. Coaching at the college level is about teaching and recruiting talent. Coaching at the NFL level is definitely NOT about that. It's about scheming and managing people.
  17. This cowboy has been despatched to Nashville... ...that recovery won't last long.
  18. This photo is from the mid 1870s. The mountain is made up of bison skulls. The ugly side of manifest destiny.
  19. It's hard to say right now because the results of 3 games play into it, and they could go either way IMO. You have Bengals/Browns, Chargers/Raiders, and Patriots/Dolphins. Various permutations there could have us playing Raiders, Patriots, or Colts. And it's not clear who is going to win those 3 games IMO. It will be fun seeing how these games all play out and what it means for our playoff game.
  20. Cheering against Tampa will be primary focus. Beyond that, I like San Fran (if they get in) and Green Bay. If the Bills make it to the SB, I'd want the worst team possible playing fromthe NFC, whoever that is.
  21. Everything you list has been prevalent for a while now (not early with nicer weather of course). I think it's the weather, the fact it's the Jets and almost everyone assumes we know the outcome before the game is even played, and people are already looking toward the playoffs. I hate Bills games where we beat the crap out of a lousy team, and the game is decided in the first or second quarter. There's no need to go out there and brave the elements for a game like that. If this was for the division and we had to win it against New England, the stadium would be full.
  22. It's this type of thinking that has turned WNY into what it is today.
  23. I have often thought about that! The nickname just makes zero sense in Salt Lake City. They should have changed the name to the "Chargin' Mormons" or some such.
  24. Maybe it's just my own optimism, but I do think they are not at risk of going anywhere regarding this stadium deal. It will get sorted out, and you're right, it won't be a dome. Buffalo is the ultimate "underdog" sort of team that I would imagine would be popular around the country, for objective viewers who have no rooting interest in a game anyway. Kind of how I have always approached Green Bay. I seem to find myself cheering for them when they play someone, as long as it's not the Bills!
  25. Funny. I would say the opposite. Of course the team will maintain this idiotic NFL tradition of wanting everyone to think he's coming back. As though there is some sort of advantage to be gained by Tennessee in doing so. The time line never really lined up for a return for him. I'll believe he can play when he's playing on the field.
