  1. How long has Tom Brady been occupying this space inside your head?
  2. LOL. Except him I guess! Wo.
  3. These women remind me of the grainy photographs of some of the women who became Jack the Ripper's victims. There were only 5 of them (officially) and one was like 26, but most of them were in their 40s (some late 40s) and pretty old to be street walking prostitutes. They were pretty much all alcoholics, dirt poor, and lived in rented, small personal rooms in large buildings shared with many people. A number of them had children to support. That was in 1888. Women/men/people have been down and out and suffering with substance abuse FOREVER. It's sad.
  4. Joe Rogan is a massive supporter of DMT and this type of thing. He mentions it constantly on his podcast and it's always interesting to see what guests have done this sort of thing or at least what they think about it. A lot of very intelligent people are into the idea.
  5. That's a really bad score if you take a Wonderlic some time. That it's better than other NFL players is irrelevant. Does this guy think he will get a 7 figure (or even 6 figure) job anywhere else but the NFL? Let's hope he isn't buying his teammates gold Rolexes and throwing lavish parties. That money only lasts so long, and the government gets half of it anyway.
  6. "QB of out of division team rests" turns into "Let's argue about a dome." 😂
  7. Fans clamoring ad nauseam for a dome isn't going to make it happen! No one is building a dome in WNY and the owner of the team doesn't want one. I wish people would stop talking about this.
  8. Not back. 21 day window open for his return. More bluffing from the team. This stuff is so stupid.
  9. I've been supporting a New England round 1 matchup, but if we could land Raiders, I'd take that in a heart beat. It will be a fun final week, keeping an eye on all the out-of-town scores! And we won't be so distracted in the 1pm slot, as we don't play until later. I just think the Bengals have done a cost benefit analysis, and concluded a rested Burrow with a solid knee heading into the playoffs is worth more than a shot at a higher seed. It probably is!
  10. I like a lot of what you are writing here, and it's mostly all dead-on. However, I disagree on 2 main points. First, the Bills are not 50/50 likely to stay or go pending new stadium. They will remain in WNY. Second, Pegula is not the only rich guy who would like to keep the team in WNY for sentimental reasons. Guys like Pegula always seem to come out of the woodwork with ties to WNY. Who knew about Terry Pegula before he came out of nowhere and bought the team? There is some other no name out there right now waiting to buy the team from Terry, and keep it in WNY as well. Also, don't forget, there is revenue sharing in the NFL. Terry Pegula is making obscene money year to year owning the team--and that's not where these guys make their money anyway. The real money is made on the appreciated value of the franchise over time. Buffalo might be one of the lower end values, but it's still obscenely high, and its value has already gone up like $400 million since Pegula bought it. As Bud Fox asked Gordon Gecko in Wall Street: "How many yachts can you water ski behind?"
  11. Yet another thread debating a dome? They are NOT GOING TO BUILD A DOME IN WNY! Get over it! It costs too much money and the owner of the team doesn't want it! PS: I can't believe how may fans think a stadium in Orchard Park is a good idea. Jesus Christ.
  12. He quantifiably plays better on the road, and there hasn't been a "home field advantage" in the NFL for 3 seasons now---using math. But you still gotta have that home field game, huh? I'd be stunned if Denver beats KC, but it could happen. This is the NFL. Don't count on it. I'm honestly not caught up in seeding. It's more about who we would get as our game partner--who would we match up with--that's way more important than raw seeding number. I want to see us get Raiders or New England, at least in the first game. We are going to have to go through KC at some point anyway!
  13. Say what you want, some of these guys with really low Wonderlic scores have to be straight up, outrageously, stupid, on a world class level. Have a look at a sample wonderlic test some time. Here's part of the Wonderlic: Q: Hard is to Soft, as: A) light is to long B) fat is to tall C) wet is to dry D) fast is to soft I was utterly OUTRAGED the moment the announced Josh ALLEN and it wasn't Josh ROSEN. The only 2 guys I did NOT want were Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. 😯
  14. He's gone from $6.5 million in Nashville to $165,000 in NY to now being out of the league. And he's still only 22. Dude scored a 28 on the Wonderlic. And he calling the coach a "dumb mother *#$%er????
  15. Excellent interview with Tampa Bay Times reporter Rick Stroud on the Rich Eisen show.
  16. Bills fans better get used to the idea of an open air stadium, because a dome ain't gonna happen. Period. End of story.
  17. A good example is Jacksonville. You can't tell me the team approached that game like a playoff game! If they had, we wouldn't have lost. There were ups and downs through the year, but that's all over now (or soon). It's all 110% foot to the floor come playoff time, and that's why it's so magical!
  18. Now you are onto a different topic altogether, but it's interesting. I think an NFL minor league would be really interesting. And it would open up the door for NFL teams to bring in and develop talent in a different way. It would be better for players in general. Think of the QBs that could be drafted and sent to the minors, waiting for the surprises to emerge. The NFL might even pick up a few QB stars that way, with guys no one ever thought would make it.
  19. I bet we play on Saturday, so those fearing the Mon. night game can probably relax. I don't get all the hate for the Monday night game. I won't miss a 1pm on a SATURDAY game at all but will enjoy the football weekend being extended to a 3rd day in a row. And I enjoy night games anyway, as long as that is not the Bills game. I think we will play on Saturday.
  20. This is the kind of comment that is interesting to me, because people sitting at every game, in every season, are the ones who are going to remember the weather most. A bunch of season ticket holders at all the games have said this about this season--terrible weather.
  21. They have responded, no doubt, but I'm not so sure there aren't a number of teams that can beat them in this league, especially if you include the NFC. Depends on the day and how the breaks fall. However, I would bet a lot of money they will be amped to the maximum for every playoff game they play (everyone is on every team in every sport!) and it will bring out the best in them. I really believe that.
  22. I was hoping for them to be in better form than they currently are, unfortunately. Of course, they might kick it into gear in the Jets game and stay there. They also might get it going in the first playoff game and stay at that level as well. So you never know. I do wish we had been playing at a higher level--consistently--than we have been, however. If JA isn't enough, forget everything else. This team will go as far as he can carry us on his back. BTW, that's how it works with ALL football teams. It's all about the QB, all the time.
  23. With stuff that is this speculative, it's a lot easier to just wait and see what happens. If he is lost, so be it, and we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Don't see the point is speculating wildly with any of these rumors until it happens...if it is going to at all.
