  1. Now to get those early rounds right!
  2. I don't think NFL teams do tank; the OP suggested that today the Jets "tanked" and it was obvious. Like the players on the field were doing things deliberately to not win the game. The idea is absurd.
  3. It's not that he's becoming less popular. It's just that his audience is becoming more selective.
  4. "Tanking" doesn't take place at the team/player level. It takes place much higher than that. The Sabres organization absolutely tanked the 2 seasons we got Reinhart and Eichel. But every guy on those teams was trying to win the best he could, and Ted Nolan too (coach). That's why management had the teams stocked with AHLers and really, really bad goaltenders. The idea isn't that players are throwing games; it's that the team is deliberately constructed to be so poor they can't win games.
  5. And in the case of some of those plumbing problems, quite literally so! 😜 How much do you think the kid (who fell) wearing the No. 1 jersey weighs? 280?
  6. Wouldn't a dome be much better suited to hosting events beyond NFL football, for the good of the entire WNY economy?
  7. Radiohead is certainly unusual. Also, not so much for the overall sound, but purely for LYRICS....The Who. Study their lyrics closely; they are weird and not like other rock bands.
  8. Do the two things have to be mutually exclusive? Doesn't his "trouble maker" behavior support a history of mental illness, or vice versa? No one here knows a damned thing about his situation, ultimately. I think there is more than enough evidence to suggest some degree of mental illness, however. How one would skip past that and assume anything else is beyond me.
  9. The funny thing is to take a look at the Bills drafting record over the years with regard to QBs. It's like we weren't even trying to find a good one.
  10. Maybe someone else can beat them for us!
  11. That would be just about the most satisfying thing ever seen in sports! I'd absolutely LOVE to face him in a Super Bowl. I'd also be an absolute nervous wreck for 2 weeks leading up to the game.
  12. He seems like he has the sort of self-destructive gene that usually sees these sorts of people dead or in jail sooner or later. I can't disagree with your prediction here.
  13. I don't care if they were fighting for their mothers' lives...they still suck.
  14. I love the sound the crowd makes when the railing fails and the fans hit the turf.
  15. Not sure how beating a really bad team in poor fashion is a "confidence builder." If we had been on our game today, it would have been over well before halftime and we would have won by 4 touchdowns+. We need to find that form again if we are going to do ANYTHING in the playoffs, where opposing talent is massively better than what we saw today. A win is still a win, though, and we did take care of business. Still waiting for us to get back into our best looking stride that we saw in the second half of the Tampa Bay game. We saw it against New England, but then it was gone again today.
  16. I feel like it's gonna be New England, and I think that's great. They'll have the worst starting QB in the playoffs, and it's hard to find playoff teams with middling QB talent. We are the bette team, and already beat them in their own building when it mattered and it wasn't a blizzard. I'm really hoping it's New England.
  17. Vontae, by a mile. It was just way more random, and I don't think he suffers mental illness.
  18. For perspective, Mike Tomlin is currently at .640 Andy Reid is .634 Sean Peyton is .628 John Harbaugh .614 Mike McCarthy .609
  19. He is the perfect example of the unbelievable amount of total BS you can get away with as an athlete....if you are good enough. You have to be absolutely great, but if you are, teams will give you 37 chances to get right. Having said that, I assume this has to be it for him in the NFL, forever.
  20. We are a 17 point favorite against the Jets next week as of right now. LOL
  21. If Titans beat Houston next week, they clinch the #1 seed.
  22. I haven't played with the simulators but I wonder if we are still a likely matchup with New England...that's a matchup I take all day long, whenever we can get it. EDIT: As it stands right now, we'd play New England.
  23. Reminds me of the late '80s when we had a thing going with them for a while.
  24. Tennessee is the #1 seed in the AFC right now!
