    I'd rather play Raiders than Patriots pending Chargers loss, so I don't like the way this game is going, ironically!

    OK so that's a bit of a letdown, but this game has the right look and feel to it so far. We're on track to an easy win. I think we see Josh come out early at some point.

    Yeah, that's way over-thought, as are most NFL rules these days. He caught the ball, was in bounds, and crossed the plain. The moment he did that, play over and it's a TD. I realize that's not how it will be called, but should be.

    I don't mind a NE matchup and have been calling for one, but the Raiders is better IMO. Equally lousy QB and they aren't coached by the best coach of all time. Also don't have nearly as good a defense.

    If NE loses, we play them with a Chargers LOSS tonight. If Chargers win, we get the Chargers, and the outcome of Miami vs. New England is irrelevant.

    Correct. We want to cheer for NE right now, and then hope for a Chargers loss tonight. We are going to play Chargers or Patriots as of right now.

    Right now we are going to play Raiders, New England, or Chargers in Game 1.

    Cheer for New England; if they win we get Raiders---if Chargers lose tonight. If Chargers win tonight, we get Chargers. I think it's that simple now.

    It would be weird if we end up with Chargers---didn't see that coming and I don't like the matchup only b/c they have a great QB who can win on his own. Raiders/Patriots are much better opponents IMO.

    If the Raiders are going to beat the Chargers, we would actually want to cheer for Patriots to beat Miami, so that we end up playing Raiders in game 1. If Chargers are going to win, a lot of scenarios have us playing the Chargers.

    It all potentially matters; any team in or not in the playoffs could impact the entire playoff scene. Who knows what matchup could be created that maybe eliminates a good team for us, for example.

    Not necessarily true; both could be the No. 7 seed if things work out, and they win today's game.

    Depends on which team you would prefer to see in the playoffs. Would you rather have Pittsburgh in, or Baltimore?
